Allen Ray Binkley Sr., 66, died Aug. 5, 2003, at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville. Mr. Binkley was born Nov. 20, 1936, in Davidson County. He was a mechanic.
Remains were at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, where the services were conducted Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, with Bro. Cecil Boswell and Bro. Gene Parton officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Roy and Mary Helen Molton Binkley; brothers, Billy and Mike Binkley; sisters, Nellie Crossland and Margie Carver.
He is survived by wife, Aline Krantz Binkley, Ashland City; sons, Gary (Lena) Binkley, Allen (Terry) Binkley, Buddy (Gail) Binkley, Jerry Binkley, Leroy (April) Binkley; daughters, Glenda (Donnie) Vondohlen, Sherry (Larry) Deal; grandchildren, Cindy Chiffin, Gary Binkley Jr., Donnie Vondohlen Jr., Renea Bean, Larry Deal Jr., Carrie Bradbury, Angel Binkley-Yearta, Corey "Budda" Binkley, Dee Odom, April Netherton, Amber Binkley, Dylan Binkley, Shelby Binkley; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold, Kenneth, Charlie, Larry and Dave Binkley; sisters, Ana Ruth Gregory, Patsy McMurtry.

Marguerite Holland Conatser
Marguerite Holland Conatser, 69, died Aug. 14, 2003. She was an obedient sheep that listened for the voice of her shepherd. She was a retired schoolteacher after 27 years, a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church, and an active Sunday school teacher.
The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Mowrey officiating. Interment
followed at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
She is survived by husband, Bob Conatser; children, Joe (Paige) Conatser, Daniel (Mattie) Conatser, Holly (Todd) Powers; sisters, Joella Johnson, Robbie Walker; brother, Ricky Holland.

Charles Anton Sindelar Jr.
Charles Anton Sindelar Jr., died Aug. 11, 2003, in Ashland City at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Brenda Sindelar.
Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Aug. 16, 2003, at 11 a.m. with burial at Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Sindelar was born Jan. 30, 1917, in Manitowoc, the son of the late Charles Sr. and Anna Sindelar. He married
the late Elizabeth (Janet) Zima. He served with the Army in WWII, with his tour of duty being in Okinawa. He was a salesman, musician, and student of Czech history and language. He made many trips to the Czech Republic, and taught the Czech language at Silver Lake College. He was a former 4th Ward City Alderman, a past member of the Manitowoc and Green Bay Symphonies, and a 50-year member/director of the Sacred Heart Parish Choir. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and the Elks Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Gorman, and a son Peter, both of Ashland City, a son Michael of Clarksdale, Miss., a sister, Bess Stein of Milwaukee, a brother Sid of Townsend, Wisc., along with four grandchildren, Jason and Josh Gorman of Ashland City, Craig Sindelar of San Sebastian, Spain, Eric Sindelar of Olympia, Washington, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles Sr. and Anna Sindelar, a step-mother, Bertha, his wife Janet, a son Thomas, a daughter Anna Marie, and a sister, Libby Webb.
In lieu of flower, the family recommends donation to the Manitowoc Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City assisted the family with the arrangements.
James Mayo McKissack
James Mayo (Jimmy) McKissack, 50, born May 11, 1953, died Aug. 13, 2003.
He was preceded in death by parents, Helen Mayo McKissack, Thomas Hogue and Thompson P. McKissack.
He is survived by daughter, Diana McKissack Hoffman; grandchildren Ashley, Bart and Christian; brother, Thomas M. McKissack and sisters, Melody M. Kirby and Tammy M. Fox.
Interment services were at 9 a.m., Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, at Middle Tennessee State Veterans cemetery.
Crawford Mortuary and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
Jo Florence Summey
Jo Florence Summey, 89, died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center, Ashland City. A longtime resident of Nashville, she was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Old Hickory Boulevard, Nashville.
She is survived by daughter, Jo Anne Goldsmith; son, Edwin Summey, five grandchildren, Jamie Berry, Terri Parker, Darin Anderson, Jason Byrd and Bret New; six great-grandchildren, Sean and Kirstoffer Berry, Krista Parker, Dallas and Shelby Anderson and Kinsley Byrd.
She made arrangements to donate her body to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a private service was held with the surviving family.

Jerry Dean Biggs, 28, of Dickson passed away Sunday, July 20, 2003.
Remains are at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m., today, Wednesday, July 23, 2003, with Bro. Jesse Allen and Bro. Thomas Felts officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Interment: Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Ashland City.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Biggs; sons, Jerry D. Biggs Jr., Dakota Lee Biggs; father, Jerry Biggs Sr., step-children, Amy Raetzel, Brandy Stinson, Brandon Stinson; sisters, Dusty Faye Biggs, Connie Faye Biggs; brothers, Ricky Lynn Biggs, Terry Dean Biggs, J.P. Biggs, Jerry Phillip Biggs.

Jose Juan Gonzalez, 37, of Ashland City, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2003, due to injuries from an auto accident. He was born March 27, 1966, in Topeka, Mexico.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 22, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Do quang Chau officiating. Burial will be in Mexico.
He is survived by his parents in Mexico, two daughters, his fiance Sharon Lynn Miller of Ashland City and by his many friends.

Jeffery Dwayne McClendon, 39, born Nov. 30, 1963, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 20, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home, 117 Elizabeth Street, Ashland City. Burial was private.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin McClendon.
He is survived by his mother, Lucile McClendon of Nashville; his daughters, Crystal McClendon and Andrea McClendon; his brother Frankie McClendon of Ashland City; his sisters, Jewel Nickens, Wanda Anderson, and Mary Johnson of Ashland City and Vannessa Alexander of Murfreesboro; the mother of his children, Judy Woods of Nashville.

Victor Cole Morris
Victor Cole Morris, 40, passed away on July 16, 2003, in Nashville. He was born Dec. 7, 1962. He was an auto mechanic.
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 18, 2003, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Weakley officiating. Burial was in Luton's cemetery in Ridgetop. Family and friends served as pallbearers.
He is survived by a daughter, Ashley Morris of Nashville, two brothers, Tim Scrabrough and Norman Scrabrough, all of Madison, a sister, Selena Bischino of California, also by a host of nephews, cousins.

Barbara Head Drake
Barbara Head Drake, 67, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2003 at White Haven Nursing Home in Adams.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 17, at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Cliett Goodpasture officiating. Burial was in the Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View. Active pallbearers included Billy Drake, Don Balthrop, Wayne Head, Gyle Head, Brian Albright and Bobby Ogg Jr.
Mrs. Drake was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Drake; parents W. T. and Ruth Chambliss Head; brothers, W. T. Head Jr and Don Head; and sisters, Carribell Balthrop, Margaret Harris and Nancy Ruth Elliott.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffery and Jerry Drake, both of Pleasant View; daughter Patsy (Jerry) Biggs also of Pleasant View; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and three great-step-grandchildren.

Thomas Earl Stallons
Thomas Earl Stallons, 70, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 16, at Boyd Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Bailey officiating. Burial followed in the Bethlehem cemetery in Ashland City.
Mr. Stallons was preceded in death by his parents, Warner and Mavious Stallons; and brother, Franklin Stallons. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Stallons of Ashland City; daughters, Shirley (Ray) Baker and Karen (Johnny) Cathey, both of Ashland City; brothers, Elmer (Tina) Stallons and Jimmy (Betty) Stallons, both of Hopkinsville, Ky.; and sisters, Virginia Futrell of Dover and Sue Redd of Cadiz, Ky.
