Martin Coffey
COOKEVILLE -- Private graveside services and burial for Martin Coffey, 54, of Cumberland Cove will be held Friday, Nov. 16.
Family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 16, from 5-8 p.m. at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home (www.hhhfunerals.com).
Mr. Coffey died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born June 28, 1953, in Memphis to Mildred Glaze Coffey and the late Jim Coffey.
Mr. Coffey moved from Memphis to Cookeville in 1994 and was instrumental in the startup of new cardiac services at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He served as director of the Heart Center since its inception and was known for his expertise and patient care.
In addition to his mother, his family includes his wife of more than 27 years, Mary Lee Coffey (whom he married
April 19, 1980, in Memphis); a son, Martin Jr. of Cumberland Cove; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Patrick Spivey of Crossville and Adrienne and Eber Ferral of Cookeville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, James and Joy Coffey and Johnny Coffey, all of Arkansas; a sister, Carol Coffey of Millington; and a granddaughter, Kayla Spivey.

John Hollis (Shakey) McClellan
COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for John Hollis (Shakey) McClellan, 67, will be held Sunday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m. at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be in Crest Lawn Memorial cemetery.
Family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 20, from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 21, from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Mr. McClellan died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville.
He was born Dec. 21, 1939, in Cookeville to the late Ed Willard and Mary Sue McClellan.
Mr. McClellan served in the Army, stationed at Camp Selfridge Air Force Base in Mt. Clemons, Mich. He was a member of Wright's Chapel United Methodist Church, accepting Jesus Christ at an early age. He was the manager of John's Place in Cookeville for many years. He played college basketball at Austin Peay University, pursuing tennis, golf and was an accomplished racquetball player. He was a strong supporter of Tennessee Tech Athletics. For many years he worked the admission ticket gates for Tech football and basketball games, and developed friendships with many Tech athletes lasting through the years.
His family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Marlon and Lashawn Cullom of Hampton, Va.; a sister, Mary Helen McCellan of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles E. McClellan of Park Forest, Ill., and James D. and Mary Miller McClellan of Columbia, S.C.; an aunt, Mary Alice McClellan of Cookeville; three grandchildren, Isha Chaney of Cookeville and Jonathan and Jazmyn Cullom, both of Virginia Beach, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McClellan was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Pitts and Jessie Wiggins; and two brothers, Thomas and William Eldridge.
Rev. Eva Mudambanuki will officiate the services.
Ola Bernice Copeland Robbins
JAMESTOWN -- Funeral services for Ola Bernice Copeland Robbins, 68, of Jamestown will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fentress Memory Gardens.

Ms. Robbins died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Linnie Carrington
COOKEVILLE -- Graveside services for Linnie Carrington, 83, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Crest Lawn Memorial cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Mrs. Carrington died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, in NHC Healthcare of Cookeville.
She was born Aug. 6, 1924, in Overton County to the late Webb and Ova McDonald.
Mrs. Carrington was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Cookeville for 55 years. She worked as a receptionist for Dr. Fred Terry for 20 years and was a bookkeeper for First Tennessee Bank for eight years.
Her family includes a daughter, Sara C. Bass of Brentwood; a son, Fredrick Eugene Carrington of Diboll, Texas; a sister, Onita McDonald Windle of Livingston; two grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Mills and Jonothan Hunter Carrington; two stepgrandchildren, Chris and Charlie Bass; and two nephews, John Mark and Chip Windle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Verble E. Carrington, who died in October 2004; two sisters, Inez Albert and Euden Feller; and a brother, Fred McDonald.
Dr. Charles McCaskey will officiate the services.
Joe Harvey Hogue
COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Joe Harvey Hogue, 77, of Algood, were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Algood City cemetery.
Mr. Hogue died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 25, 1930, in Allons to the late Bedford and Beaulah Bowman Hogue.
Mr. Hogue worked in carpentry and was a member of the Carpenter's Local Union #74, out of Chattanooga. He was owner of Joe's Flea Shack and was a member of the Baptist faith and served in the Army.
His family includes two sons and daughters-in-law, David Wayne and Katherine Hogue and Mark and Melinda Hogue, all of Cookeville; a daughter, Mary Ruth Vaughn of Cookeville; a brother, Billy Hogue of Livingston; three sisters, Jean Rayburg of Dayton, Ohio, Joyce Ramsey of Algood and Edna Smith of Jackson County; eight grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Young, Mary Katherine Hogue, Stephanie Vaughn Clark, Joseph Charles, Jennifer Michelle and James William Hogue, Jon Michael and Anthony (A.J.) Vaughn; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hogue was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean Hunter Hogue; a brother, John Robert Hogue; and a son-in-law, Kenny Vaughn.
Pallbearers were Joseph and Rodney Hogue, Jon and A.J. Vaughn, Cale Clark and Michah Johnson.
Honorary pallbearer was Roger Hogue. Bro. Christopher McMichael officiated the services.
Wanda F. Waidley
LIVINGSTON -- Funeral services for Wanda F. Waidley, 70, of Livingston, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Overton County Memorial Gardens in Livingston.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Waidley died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, in Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville.
Beatrice Irene Evans Eaves
BENTON -- Funeral services for Beatrice Irene Evans Eaves, 101, of Cookeville, formerly of Delano, were held at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, from the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home.
Burial was at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, in Benton Memorial Gardens, with a white dove release ceremony that concluded the ceremony.
Mrs. Eaves died on her birthday, Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007 in a Cookeville health care facility.
She was born Oct. 11, 1906. Mrs. Eaves was the oldest member of Patty Church of Christ in Delano. She greeted everyone with a smile and was well known for her hospitality. Mrs. Eaves loved gardening and enjoyed providing the church with bouquets of flowers each Sunday.
Her family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Floyd and Maxine Eaves of Delano; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra Thrasher of Cookeville and Gladys and Jasper Rogers of Dalton, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Ronnie Morrow of Charleston, Janice Morrow of Knoxville, Judy Rogers of Benton, Patty Waycaster and Beth Brock, both of Dalton, Heather Bain and Heath Hamilton, both of Cookeville; 14 great-grandchildren, Ann, Michael and Mark Rogers, Denise Longley, Allyson Hannah, Lindsey Surlas, Scott, Leslie and Erica Morrow, Blake and Megan Waycaster, Austin and Tyler Brock and Alyson Bain; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Stella Evans of Akron, Ohio, and Jean Eaves of Delano; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jordan Eaves; a son, Leonard Eaves; a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Herman Morrow; two sisters, Mrytle Wooden and Flora Lovingood; and three brothers, Lester, Loris and Marshal Evans.
Ministers Franklin Hyberger and Danny Rogers officiated at the services.
