Gross - Grigg (2002 November 19)
Dr. Amy Elizabeth Grigg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Allen Grigg Jr. of Roanoke, Va., was united in marriage with Jonathan Andrew Gross, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Michael Gross of Maryville, Aug. 24 at Calvary Baptist Church in Roanoke, Va. The Rev. Donna Britt officiated, with the Rev. Dr. Harry Y. Gamble offering the prayer of blessing.
W. Allen Grigg III of Emory, Va., served as his sister's man of honor. Bridesmaids were Julia Houghton of Washington, D.C., Carrie Jarrell of Roanoke, Va., and Dr. Jennifer Hall of Nashville.
Greg Gross of Maryville, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Jason King of Toledo, Ohio, and Todd Donhauser of Denmark.
A reception followed the ceremony in the Jefferson Center's Fitzpatrick Hall.
After a wedding trip to Emerald Isle, N.C., the couple are living in Arlington, Va.
The bride received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her doctorate in physical therapy from Belmont University in Nashville. She is practicing in Arlington, Va., at the Virginia Sportsmedicine Institute.
The bridegroom received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He teaches in the Hyde Leadership Charter School in Washington, D.C., and serves as head soccer coach. In addition, he is the assistant women's soccer coach at Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
The bride is the granddaughter of Phyllis H. Chapman of Raleigh, N.C., the late Charles Dalton Chapman and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Allen Grigg Sr. of Roanoke, Va.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hancox of Alcoa and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bradford Gross.

Borum - Davis (2002 November 19)
Wanda Davis of Maryville, daughter of Harold and Cillian Davis of Alcoa, was united in marriage with David Borum of Vonore, son of Jearl Borum of Harriman and the late W.C. Borum, Oct. 12 at Dotson Memorial Baptist Church. Rick Sandlin officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by Betty Drinnen, organist.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an A - line, formal - length dress styled with a lace bodice, organza overskirt and a chapel - length train. The bride's mother made her waist - length tulle veil, which was affixed to a satin - covered headband trimmed with beaded lace. The bride carried a bouquet of ivy, magnolias, ranunculus, gardenias, roses, tiger lilies and baby's breath designed by Margaret Loveday, sister of the bride.
Kristy Brewer of Maryville was maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Dee Anne Stallions of Maryville. They wore two - piece, burgundy A - line dresses and carried arm bouquets of burgundy magnolias.
Stephanie Borum and Allison Headrick were flower girls. They wore burgundy houndstooth - patterned dresses and carried arm bouquets of burgundy magnolias.
Nathaniel and Ethan Loveday were ring bearers. The pillows they carried were designed and made by Dena Hamblen.
Jennifer Borum kept the bride's book.
Danny Borum of South Carolina was best man. Groomsmen were Darrell Pickering of Vonore and Brad Headrick of Walland.
A reception given by the parents of the bride was held at the church. Assisting hostesses were Dinah Vickery, Teri Headrick and Cheryl Borum.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, the couple are living in Vonore.
The bride is a first grade teacher at Walland Elementary School.
The bridegroom is employed by Theta Systems.

Wade - Graves (2002 November 19)
Angie Kay Graves of Nashville, formerly of Maryville, daughter of Keith and Patricia Graves of Maryville, was united in marriage with Tracey Dean Wade of Nashville, son of Pete and Jean Wade of Old Hickory, Oct. 12 at the Chapel in the Glades, Gatlinburg.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a tea - length, three - tiered ivory chiffon dress with sheer chiffon sleeves and a scoop neckline with sequin and pearl appliqués. She wore a band of ivory flowers in her hair and carried a bouquet of ivory flowers outlined with royal blue ribbon.
Teresa Hommrich of Hermitage was matron of honor. She wore a royal blue outfit with a flowing lace jacket and gold accents and carried a bouquet of ivory roses outlined with royal blue flowers.
Keytha Graves, sister of the bride, kept the bride's book.
Michael Wade of Old Hickory was best man.
After a wedding trip to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., the couple are living in Nashville.
The bride is a 1986 graduate of Heritage High School. She is employed in the accounting department at Volunteer Barge & Transport, Inc., in Nashville.
The bridegroom is a 1983 graduate of Dupont High School in Old Hickory. He is an armed security guard employed with Private Protection Services of Hermitage.

England - Bryant (2002 November 12)
Karen S. Bryant, daughter of Leon and Bonnie Bryant of Knoxville and the late Sara Stevens, was united in marriage with Stephen C. England of Maryville, son of Joan B. England of Santa Fe, N.M. and the late Dr. Harry R. England, Oct. 8 in Santa Fe, N.M. Pastor Mike Rimes officiated.
The bride wore an ivory silk gown with a touch of pink with pearls.
Pamela England of Santa Fe, N.M., was maid of honor. Alexiandra England of Anchorage, Alaska, was bridesmaid. They wore silky forest green dresses and carried pink and ivory flowers.
Dave England of Anchorage, Alaska, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
A reception given by Joan B. England was held at Bishop's Lodge Chapel, Santa Fe.
After a wedding trip to Santa Fe, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is a graduate of West High School in Knoxville and worked for 25 years with Levi Strauss and Co. She is currently returning to college.
The bridegroom is president of England Construction Inc. He received BSME and MSMSE degrees from the University of Florida.
