Leroy and Fay (Gilland) Rogers of Maryville will celebrate their 53rd wedding anniversary March 7 with a dinner with friends.
The couple were married March 7, 1951 in Maryville. The Rev. John Hood officiated.
Their family includes sons Randy of Alcoa and Phil of Knoxville. They have one grandchild.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Rogers are retired. They enjoy watching golf on television, the University of Tennessee Vols football, Lady Vols basketball and all activities of their grandson, Joseph Tyler Rogers.
Mr. and Mrs. Debety married 60 years (2004-03-03)
The Rev. Clifford and Mafle Debety of Alcoa will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary March 4.
The couple were married March 4, 1944 in Chatsworth, Ga.
Their family includes daughters Barbara Easterday and her husband Richard of Louisville, and Gail Morgan and her husband Rick of Maryville. They have three grandchildren, Lynn, Lacy and Jill, and three great-grandchildren, Haven, Ben and Amber.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Debety are retired after serving in the ministry for over 50 years. Mr. Debety was also employed with Alcoa Inc. for 39 years.
Ogles to celebrate 50th anniversary (2004-03-03)
Earnest and Sarah (Hatcher) Ogle of Walland will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary March 6 at their home. Friends and relatives are invited to stop by throughout the day for refreshments.

Their family includes children and their spouses, Ernestine and William Stephenson of Townsend, Pamela Ogle of Walland, David A. and Jackie Ogle of Maryville and Timothy H. and Moncia Ogle of South Carolina. They have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ogle is retired from Cowin & Co. of Birmingham. Mrs. Ogle is a housewife.

Claude and Betty Ann (Leonard) Tallent of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at 4 p.m. Sunday at Two Trees Restaurant, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

The couple were married June 7, 1954 at First United Methodist Church, Alcoa. Ben St. Clair officiated.
Their family includes children Brenda Loken of Crestview, Fla., Keith Tallent of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Kathy Tallent of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Karen Williams of Keesler AFB, Mississippi, Edwin Tallent of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Valerie Coleman of Navarre, Fla. They have 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Tallent is president of Talco Awards Showcase Inc. Mrs. Tallent is a homemaker.
Mr. Tallent is retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He is past president of the Fort Walton Beach Lions Club.
Mr. Tallent is a 1951 graduate of Everett High School. Mrs. Tallent is a 1951 graduate of Alcoa High School.
Hedricks to celebrate 50 years (2004-06-03)
