The bride - to - be is the granddaughter of the late Roman and Maria Babiuc and the late Vaslie and Maria Popa.
The bridegroom - to - be is the grandson of the late John Pearre and Susan Gordon Hamilton and the late Charles Vernon and Louella Davidson Bonner.
The bride - to - be is a graduate of the University of Iasi where she majored in physics. She attended graduate school at the University of Iasi and earned her Ph.D. in physics. She is employed as a physicist in merical relativity at the University of Pittsburgh.
The bridegroom - to - be is a graduate of Rhodes College where he majored in physics. He attended graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a Ph.D. in astrophysics. He is employed as the director of the Clark Planetarium and is a professor of physics and astronomy at Shawnee State University.
