Rebecca Leigh Aikens is engaged to marry Donald Dexter Carroll II Oct. 2 at Highland Park Baptist Church, Lenoir City. Invitations will be sent.
The future bride is the daughter of Tony and Brenda Aikens of Lenoir City. She is the granddaughter of Lillian Guider Chrisman of Lenoir City, the late R.L. Chrisman, Dorothy Williford Conner of Lenoir City and the late Reece Aikens.
The future bridegroom is the son of Bill and Janice Carroll of Maryville. He is the grandson of the late Don and Frances Carroll and the late William and Catherine Rosser.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lenoir City High School and Roane State Community College. She is employed by First National Bank.
The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of Maryville High School and Cumberland College. He is employed by the Loudon County Sheriff's Department.

Bailey - Villaverde (2004-06-01)
Carol Nanette Bailey is engaged to marry Patrick James Villaverde at 2 p.m. June 19 at New Providence Presbyterian Church. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
The future bride is the daughter of Sharon P. Bailey of Maryville. She is the granddaughter of Elizabeth Pusey of Maryville and the late Rev. Howard Pusey.
The future bridegroom's parents are deceased.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of William Blount High School and a graduate of Maryville College with a Bachelor of Music degree in music education. She is currently earning a Master of Music degree in choral conducting at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in computer science. He is a computer consultant/analyst for the Office of Information Technology at UT Knoxville.

O'dell - Mancini (2004-06-01)
"Pink will be the color of the innocence of our life/Recorded in heaven on this day Rachel as Steven's wife."
Thus wrote June bride Rachel M. O'dell about her upcoming marriage to Steven C. Mancini in a poem she entitled, "Becoming One."
"Rose petals of pink will fall all around the church," O'dell wrote.
The couple met four years ago and although the road to wedded bliss has not been without its pitfalls, "We found that our love was more than enough," O'dell wrote. "Behind now is the past of laying the foundation/The future as one will be without hesitation."
Although the future is never known, the couple do have the assurance that they will face it together.
"The strength of the future is three cords entwined/The love of Steven, Rachel and the Divine."
Rachel M. O'dell of Maryville, daughter of Freda Kay O'dell of Maryville, will marry Steven C. Mancini of Maryville, son of Robin and Doran England of Maryville, at 2 p.m. June 5 at Tarklin Valley Baptist Church. Chuck Young will officiate.
Nuptial music will be provided by Charlene Barnes of Maryville.
Tessa Young of Maryville will be maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Jessica Osborne, Stacey Davis and Shelby England, all of Maryville. Madison Davis of Maryville will be flower girl.
Cody England of Maryville will be best man. Groomsmen will be Dustin Anderson and Cody England, both of Maryville, and ring bearer will be Coey Bryant of Maryville.
A reception will be held at the church following the wedding ceremony.
A wedding trip is planned to Gatlinburg.
The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Heritage High School. She is a store clerk at Stevenson Tire Service.
The future bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College. He is employed as a collision repair technician at Mercedes Benz of Knoxville.

Waters - West (2004-06-01)
Teresa Kay Waters of Louisville, daughter of Margaret S. Waters and the late Bobby Joe Waters, will marry Wade West of Knoxville, son of Dot and Paul Deutsch and the late Sonny West, at 3 p.m. June 13 at Green Meadow United Methodist Church, Alcoa. Family and friends are invited to attend.
Beverly Churchill will be maid of honor and Penny Linebaugh will be bridesmaid.
Dennis West will serve as best man.
A reception will be held at Brackins Blues Bar in Maryville following the ceremony.
Honeymoon arrangements are incomplete.
The future bride is a 1981 graduate of Alcoa High School. She is employed at First Tennessee Bank while attending the University of Tennessee.
The future bridegroom is a 1974 graduate of Carter High School. He is a self-employed carpenter and bass player for the local band, The Dixie Werewolves."
