Webb P. Patton
A Masonic graveside service for Webb P. Patton, 77, of Nacogdoches was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mast Cemetery at Melrose. Swift Masonic Lodge 678 conducted the graveside service.
Patton died Monday February 28, 2005, in Nacogdoches.
Born August 26, 1927, in Melrose, he was the son of Webb and Fannie Patton. He was a farmer and a member of Melrose Baptist Church. He was a member of Scottish Rite and the Shriners. He was a U.S. Air Force and Merchant Marine veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Patton of Nacogdoches; and daughters, Becky Barrett and Linda Svehla, both of Nacogdoches; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Deep East Texas, 907 Mound St. Nacogdoches, Texas 75961.

Travis L. “Bill” Perry
Travis L. “Bill” Perry, 77, passed away March 1, 2005, in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005, at the Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Dr. Johnny Dammon of Fredonia Hill Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Mr. Perry was born April 19, 1927, in San Augustine, Texas, to Jiles Overton and Ruth Fox Perry. He served our country during World War II in the United States Air Force from which he retired in 1965. He also retired from Moore Business Forms in 1986 after twenty years of service. He was a resident of Nacogdoches for thirty-nine years, and a member of Fredonia Hill Baptist Church where he was a deacon.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jiles and Ruth Perry; two brothers, Buster Perry and Bernard Perry; and two sisters, Avis Watson and Hazel Wall.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Iris F. Perry of Nacogdoches, Texas; his sons, Stephen Michael Perry and wife, Nina, of Nacogdoches, Texas and Timothy Craig Perry and wife, Gloria, of Wylie, Texas; three daughters, Barbara Elaine Brdecka and husband, Gene, of Weatherford, Texas, Brenda Faye Ramsey of Tyler, Texas, and Debbie Sue Muckleroy and husband, Ken, of Nacogdoches, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Stout, Mike Perry, Odis Wheeler, Don Walker, David Miller, and George Middlebrook. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Fredonia Hill Baptist Church and members of Adults 6 Men's Sunday School Department.
Memorial donations in his honor may be made to the Fredonia Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 1711 South St., Nacogdoches, Texas 75961.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 7:30 p.m. today.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, Nacogdoches, Texas.

Margaret Wilson Agee
Funeral services for Margaret Elizabeth Wilson Agee, 92, of Nacogdoches will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Newton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
Mrs. Agee was born March 10, 1912, in Nacogdoches to the late Walter Ford and Willie Mae Bowler Wilson.
She was a former resident of Texas City where she spent 30 years as an elementary school teacher.
She and her late husband, Kermit E. Agee, were certified camellia judges for the American Camellia Society. Mr. Agee preceded his wife in death on October 13, 1993.
Mrs. Agee was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Nacogdoches.
She is survived by one son, John R. Agee, and his wife, Deanne, of Santa Fe, Texas; granddaughters, Julieann Chamness and her husband, Dave, of Belton, Texas and Jennifer Delaney and her husband, Rhett of Kingwood, Texas; grandson, John Marque Agee, and his wife, Michelle of Comfort, Texas. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Katelynne Chamness and Amye Chamness of Belton, Texas, and Ashley Delaney of Kingtown, Texas. Mrs. Agee is survived by one brother, James R. “Jim” Wilson of Nacogdoches, Texas; and two sisters, Gene Cassidy of Iowa and Myrtle Nelle Atkinson of Lufkin, Texas.
The men of The Westminster Presbyterian Church will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk Metcalf Funeral Directors.

Michael Lynn Ard
Funeral for Michael Lynn Ard, 21, of Huxley will be at 4 p.m. today at Watson and Sons Funeral Home, Center, with the Rev. Jack Forbis officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.
Ard died Feb. 28, 2005, in Center.
Born Feb. 18, 1984, in Center, he was the son of Tony Ard and Tonda Hassell.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Ard of Dallas; father and stepmother, Tony and Tonia Ard of Huxley; mother and stepfather, Tonda and Bryan Warner of Joaquin; brothers, Tyler Inthavan, Justin Inthavan , Eli Ard and Bradley Ard, all of Huxley, and Scott Shaw of Joaquin; sister, Marissa Shaw of Joaquin; stepson, Joseph Jones of Gary; stepdaughters, Dystiny McKenzie and Jessica McKenzie, both of Gary; grandparents, Fay Ard of Center and Barbara Jones of Joaquin.
Visitation will be from noon until 4 p.m. today.

Cornelia Durrett
Funeral for Cornelia Durrett, 87, of San Augustine will be at 11 a.m. today in Shiloh Baptist Church, San Augustine, with the Rev. Frank Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, San Augustine.
Durrett died Feb. 28, 2005, in San Augustine.
Born Nov. 10, 1917, in New Hope Community, San Augustine County, he was the son of William Oliver Mitchell and Emma Luella Simmons. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Eastern Star in Dallas and Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Dewayne Durrett of Allen, Charles Durrett of Midland, Stephen Durrett of San Augustine and Terry Durrett of Austin; sister, Gladys Story of San Augustine; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Mollie Tucker Parmley Gresham
Services for Mollie Tucker Parmley Gresham, 87, of Longview are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Winterfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Lindstrom officiating. The committal and burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches.
Mrs. Gresham was born November 15, 1917, to Lelia and Buck Parmley in Nacogdoches, Texas. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches. She started her teaching career in Orange, Texas. She taught fourth and fifth grades at South Ward Elementary and Bramlette Elementary in Longview ISD for 21 years. She completed her lengthy teaching career with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in Houston. Mrs. Gresham was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, Retired Teacher's Association, Winterfield United Methodist Church and Numerous Travel Clubs. Mrs. Gresham was a longtime supporter of the Lady Lobo Basketball Team. Mrs. Gresham's husband of 65 years, Randy Gresham, preceded her in death. A brother, Lee Parmley and a sister, Jane Mahan also preceded her in death.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Carolyn Gresham; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and J.C. Gosnell, Lelia and Dale Borak; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces, Patricia Parmley, Marcy Moody, Pam Parmley; nephews, Mike Parmley, Joe Don Gresham, Ken Mahan and George Lucas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Garland and Helen Gresham; special friends, Buford Craft, Mr. and Mrs. Hoy Herrin, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Maines, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Traylor and Mr. and Mrs. Keven Ellard.
The pallbearers will be Brad Gresham, Scott McGrath, Shane Borak, Mike Parmley, Joe Don Gresham and Ken Mahan.
The family requests that memorials be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1409 Gilmer Road, Longview, Texas 75604 or Winterfield United Methodist Church, 2616 Tryon Road, Longview, Texas 75605.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral and memorial center, 4619 Judson Road.

William T. “Bill” Darlington
William T. “Bill” Darlington, 86, died February 28, 2005, at his residence in Garrison, Texas.
He was born March 29 1918, in Covington, Kentucky, the son of Thomas G. and Osceola Sprague Darlington. He attended high school in Texas City. He was married to Helen Clark in January 1939 until her death in 1969. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and attained the rank of first lieutenant.
Following high school, he began working as a carpenter in Galveston, Texas, but soon advanced to foreman and building superintendent. He worked on a variety of projects ranging from the Galveston Causeway to a high rise in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was while building additions to the Garrison High School that he met Delma Cranford whom he married in November 1969 and moved to Garrison. Over the years, some of his pet building projects included a sailboat, cabin cruiser, paddle-wheel boat and rebuilding an old airplane.
He enjoyed playing golf, flying, motorcycle riding and boating. He loved living in Garrison and became very active in the community, playing cards, dominoes, etc., with his many, many dear friends.
He attended church at Cold Springs Baptist Church and Stockman United Methodist Church.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Mary Helen Darlington in 1962; his first wife, Helen, in 1969; his second wife, Delmae, in 1995; his son, John Clark Darlington in 2003; and his sister, Betty Swartz.
He is survived by his daughter, Martha Seighman, and husband Jerry, of Washington, North Carolina; his sons, William T. Darlington Jr. of Houston, Texas, and James P. Darlington and wife, Melissa, of Nacogdoches, Texas; stepdaughter, Geraldean Collins, and husband, Stephen, of DeSoto, Texas; stepsons, Jimmy Ray Cranford, and wife, Bobbie Jo, and Joey Cranford and wife, Sherry, all of Garrison, Texas; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and his loyal canine companion – Angelo. In addition to his family, he leaves many, many friends and neighbors. All will miss him greatly.
The family will hold a reception celebrating Bill's life from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005, at the Stockman Community, Center, located at 7316 FM 415 in the Stockman Community Shelby County, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Stockman United Methodist Church, c/o Marcel Cobb, 2082 CR 1515, Center, Texas 75935, 936-254-9901 or to the charity of your choice.
