Faith Elaine Suarez

Faith Elaine Suarez was born August 26, 1998, and gracefully entered into the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 12, 2004. His first words to her must have been, “Well done, my good and faithful Servant.” Wonderful memories have been left with her dad and mom, Edward and Elizabeth, three beautiful sisters she adored, Samantha, Lauren and Christabel, Grandparents, Florinda Suarez, Adella and Reza Mashie, and many family members and friends whose hearts were touched by the gift of FAITH. She has now joined her Popo Suarez who already resides in Heaven. To the Christian Tabernacle family that she loved, she leaves a legacy of FAITH. From her parents and her church, a love for Jesus and the scriptures was early implanted into this child’s heart. The assurance of salvation and knowing her destiny were beyond amazing! Her first question to strangers was, “Do you have Jesus?” All six years of her life, Faith fought a courageous battle. She never did doubt that Jesus was her shield, her armor, and her protection. Numerous people were touched by her smile, her enthusiasm for life, and her love for Jesus and family. The last telephone message that she recorded tells the story of her life: “We are either at church or clinic and are having a good time. My mom, dad and sisters love you. God loves you, and walk in God’s favor.” The Suarez family gives special thanks to the staff at Texas Children’s Hospital, (including the 9th and 14th floor staff), Dr. Kenneth McClain, Dr. Jeffrey Alten, Chief of PICU – Dr. Stein and his daughter, Melanie Stein, Ruth Ann Herring, and Michelle Lawson. Also, a big thank you to Children’s Wish International, Sunshine Kids, Kid’s Unlimited, Sharon Wilkenfield, and CandleLighters, including Carol Benefield, the prayer warriors who interceded on Faith’s behalf for years and to her church family at Christian Tabernacle. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at: Bank of America, Acct. #005748953870. Viewing will be held at Christian Tabernacle, 13334 Wallisville, from 4:00 – 8:30P with a Memorial Service at 6:00P on Sunday, August 15, 2004. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, August 16th at 1:00P at the church. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course. I have kept the FAITH.” 2 Timothy 4:7. Farewell Faith…until we meet in Heaven. Thank you Jesus for the gift of Faith. Our hearts are forever changed.
