Graveside service: 3 p.m. Thursday in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Ky. Visitation: 1 p.m. Thursday at Pearson Funeral Home in Louisville.

Virginia Louise Katterjohn Johnson was a native of Henderson, Ky., and wife of the late Dr. Henry M. Johnson, a former Methodist minister in Fort Worth.

Survivors: Brother, Charles M. Katterjohn of Henderson; niece, Anne K. Gibbs of Henderson; and nephews, Bill and John Katterjohn, both of Owensboro.

Rose Karnes was born Dec. 31, 1914, in Gould, Okla. She was an original member of the Chuckwagon Gang, with whom she sang for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R T Karnes.

Survivors: Sons, Richard T. Karnes of Azle and Randall C. Karnes of Roanoke; brothers, Clell Carter of Brandon, Eddie Carter of Bedford and Roy Carter of Meridian; sisters, Effie Davis of Baton Rouge, La., Anna Everett of Watauga, Ruth Ellen Yates of Aledo and Bette Goodwin of Richland Hills; eight grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.

Survivors: Wife, La Juana Ryan of Fort Worth; children, Martha Ryan, Marilyn Ryan and Michael Ryan, all of Fort Worth; brother, Winston R. Ryan of Houston; and sisters, June Jackson of Cardington, Ohio, and Eleanor Moehlman of Cincinnati, Ohio.
