Carolyn Marie Tuttle was born March 28, 1945, in Roscoe. She married Donald D. Tuttle on June 17, 1976. She was predeceased by a sister, Debra Jo Garcia.

Survivors: Husband, Donald D. Tuttle; father, Allie Eber Ivison Sr.; mother, Montie Rea Smith Ivison; sons, Cary Glenn Roach, Charles Wayne Tuttle and Christopher Wood Roach; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Alene Tuttle; sisters, Susan White, Sharon Cunningham and Sheila Gianinny; brothers, Allie E. Ivison Jr. and Barry W. Ivison; and three grandchildren.

Doris Walker was born May 8, 1918, in Jack County, Texas.

Survivors: Son, Billy Fred Walker of Bridgeport; daughters, LaDarla Keith of Dallas and Glenda St. John of Bridgeport; sister, LaRue Harrell of Stanton; eight grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren.

FORT WORTH -- Mary Katherine Yeary, 80, a homemaker, died Friday, May 23, 1997, at a hospital in Plano.

Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth.

Mary Katherine Yeary was born Oct. 16, 1916, in Fort Worth. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sanger.

Mrs. Yeary was preceded in death by her husband, Wilber Wayne Yeary.

Survivors: Daughter, Myrl Webb of Plano; son, Ed Yeary of Fort Worth; grandsons, Bill Webb and Wes Webb, both of Plano; and granddaughters, Stephanie Yeary and Stacey Yeary, both of Dallas.

William Floyd Adams

HURST -- William Floyd Adams, 82, a retired instrumentation technician for Bell Helicopter, died Friday, May 23, 1997, at a Bedford hospital.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Officiating, Dr. John Bobo.

William Adams was born Jan. 27, 1915, in Fort Worth. Mr. Adams retired after 30 years at Bell Helicopter as an instrumentation technician. He was a member of Shady Oaks Baptist Church in Hurst. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Lee Adams, in 1988.

Survivors: Daughters and sons-in- law, Sheryl Adams Lair of Fort Worth, Vicki and Gary Tongate of Bedford and Lisa and Larry Minor of Fort Worth; brother and sister-in-law, G.G. "Mickey" and Doris Adams; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ray H. Allenstein

FORT WORTH -- Ray H. Allenstein, 67, a retired salesman, went to be with his Lord on Friday, May 23, 1997, in Lake Worth.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lake Country Baptist Church. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Shannon North Funeral Home.

Ray Allenstein was born Jan. 7, 1930, in Manchester, Iowa, to Frank and Augusta Allenstein. He grew up in Manchester where, with his father, he raised and showed horses. Upon graduation from Wartburg College in Ames, Iowa, he attended Officer Candidate School in San Francisco, Calif., then as a Lieutenant JG in the Navy he served his country aboard the USS Bradford.

He later worked in banking, real estate and insurance. Ray was an avid golfer but he loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a longtime resident of Fort Worth and a member of Lake Country Baptist Church for 22 years.

Survivors: Daughters, Dianne Charter of Lexington, Ky. and Lisa Matthews of Dallas; son, Eric Ray Allenstein of Azle; grandchildren, Rachael Matthes, Jennafer Matthes, Trey Matthews, Travis Matthews, Chelsea Matthews and Brittany Matthews; and sister, Hilda Cole of Willows, Calif.

MANSFIELD -- Arnold Jackson Alls, 54, a diesel mechanic, died Friday, May 23, 1997, at home.

Arnold Alls was born Sept. 25, 1942, in Montgomery Co., Va.

Survivors: Wife, Rita Alls of Mansfield; son, Kevin Alls of Mansfield; daughters, Angela Osborne of Hallandale, Fla., Julie Surbaugh of Smithfield, Va., Terri McGrath of Midlothian and Sharla Fuentes of Arlington; two brothers; five sisters; and five grandchildren and expecting one more.

Victoria R. "Vickie" Balderas was born Feb. 28, 1936, in Adamsville.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Balderas was preceded in death by her father, two sisters and one brother.

Survivors: Husband, Juan Balderas of Haltom City; sons and daughters-in- law, George Martin and Carla Balderas of Fort Worth and Joe Arthur Balderas of Fort Worth; daughters and sons-in-law, Paula Jean and Adam Lewis of Fort Worth, and Patricia Ann and Scott Cassaday of Fort Worth; mother, Pauline Rogers of McGregor; brothers, Victor Rogers of Waco, Toney Rogers Jr. of McGregor and Frank Rogers of Fort Worth; sisters, Amelia Banderas of McGregor and Antonia Lopez of Haltom City; grandsons, John Martin Balderas, Robert Wayne Balderas and Joshua Wayne Lewis; granddaughter, Maddison Rose Cassaday; and numerous nieces and nephews.

John D. Bell

BURLESON -- John D. "J.D." Bell, 86, an automotive service owner, died Friday, May 23, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

John D. "J.D." Bell was born Sept. 6, 1910, in Crowley. He was a longtime business owner in Fort Worth and owned Westside Service Inc. He was a lifelong resident of Johnson and Tarrant counties.

Survivors: Son, Wayne Bell and his wife, Jan, of Burleson; granddaughters, Melody Roberts and her husband, Larry, and Misty Lovell and her husband, Ronnie, all of Burleson; great-grandchildren, John Clay Harter and Riley Elizabeth Roberts, both of Burleson; and companion, Frances Mae Bell of Fort Worth.

Mr. Bishop was born June 7, 1935, in Greenwood.

He married Martha Nell Moore on Dec. 18, 1972, in Fort Worth. He was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Plainview.

Survivors: Wife, Martha Bishop of Decatur; sons, Ricky Bishop of Mabank, Ronny and Scotty Bishop, Lee Owen, all of Decatur, Jeff Owen of Washington; daughters, Connie Ostrom of Decatur, Lisa Owen of Washington; brothers, Jimmy and Richard Bishop of Decatur; sisters, LaWanda Lynch of Tishimingo, Okla., Dorothy Brazeau of Decatur; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brownlow was born Jan. 16, 1919, in Eldorado, Okla.

Clarence E. Coursey

FORT WORTH -- Clarence E. "Pete" Coursey, 79, a retired civil engineer from Carswell Air Force Base, died Friday, May 23, 1997, at his home in Fort Worth.

Funeral:2 p.m. Tuesday at Park Temple Baptist Church, 2832 Townsend Drive, Fort Worth. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Park Temple Baptist Church Building Fund, 2832 Townsend Drive, Fort Worth 76110, attention Mr. Corty West.

Pallbearers: Dean Coons, Doug Coursey, Chris Gartman, Cornell Hicks, Brian Morgan, Eric Pollitt, Gary Robinson, and Duane Wallace.

Honorary pallbearers: Elmer Branum, Fred Bridwell, Jerry Kersey, John Montford, Pete Morgan, Corty West, Charles Wilhite, and Earl Wright.

Mr. Coursey was born Sept. 24, 1917, in Bridgeport.

A special place in heaven has been created for our loving and beloved father, Mr. Clarence E. "Pete" Coursey, as he departed this life May 23, 1997. Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Mary Coursey; three brothers, Theodore T. Coursey, Charles E. Coursey and James D. Coursey; and one sister, Mae E. Stockton. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Coursey served in the 22nd Division. He had lived with his family in Fort Worth since 1946. Mr. Coursey retired from Carswell Air Force Base in 1975. He shared a love for fishing, baseball and football with his family and friends. He was known as a kind neighbor and dependable friend. No matter what life handed him, he always had a smile on his face and a gracious word for everyone. No task was ever too hard to undertake. "Brother Pete," as he was known at Park Temple, took great pleasure in his church work, where he served actively for 46 years as a deacon and a member of various church committees. He walked the walk of a true "Christian Man." During this time, Mr. Coursey and his wife were the only surviving charter members of that congregation.

The family would like to thank the following caregivers for their special love and concern: Susan and Betty at All Saints Home Health; Julie, Sherry, Vicky, Gloria, and Bea at M.D. Anderson Network, All Saints Hospital - Fort Worth, and Glenda, Shannon, Pat, and Jim of Vitas Hospice.

Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Lois Coursey, Fort Worth, and their four daughters: Janice Barrow and husband, Bill of Round Rock, Linda Robinson and husband, Harold of Sanford, Colo., Sue Wallace and husband, Joe of Arlington and Deborah Morgan of Round Rock; sister, Jewelle F. Montford of Hurst; seven grandchildren, Kathy Liebenberg, Cynthia Gartman, Gary Robinson, Karen Kwok, Misty Pollitt, Duane Wallace, and Brian Morgan; and eight great- grandchildren. Mr. Coursey also leaves several nephews and nieces, including niece, Rebecca G. Coursey of his home as well as countless friends whose lives he touched and influenced over the years.
