Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at a private residence. Contact funeral home for information. Burial: Alvord Cemetery in Alvord.

Billy Lee Joplin was born June 28, 1923, in Cleburne.

He was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors: Sons, Robert Joplin of Garland, David Joplin of Spearfish, S.D., and Bubba Joplin of Alvord; daughters, Muff Joplin and Tracie Joplin, both of Roanoke, Charlie Joplin of Denton; and four grandchildren.

Alexander E. Kaimana Sr.
FORT WORTH -- Alexander "Pineapple" Eleeleualani Kaimana Sr., 52, a Miller Brewing Company plant maintenance worker, died Wednesday, June 11, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 12 noon Saturday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth. His remains will be returned to Hawaii.

Alexander "Pineapple" Eleeleualani Kaimana Sr. was born March 15, 1945, in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Survivors: Wife, Rose E. Kaimana; son, Alexander E. Kaimana Jr. and wife, Kelly, of Fort Worth; daughters, Kainoa Marie Cosper and husband, Bryan, of Fort Worth, Melissa Leilani Safavi and husband, Steve, of Carrollton and Lokeilani Lee Kaimana of Dallas; brothers, Richard D. Santillo, Joseph H. Kaimana, John K. Kaimana, Benjamin K. Kaimana, Michael W. Kaimana, Anderson A. Kaimana and Edward Charles M. Kaimana; sisters, Emma K. Baptiste, Katheleen K. Kaimana and Gladys Kaimana; grandchildren, Elyssa Neilani Cosper, Kaini Michele Cosper and Pagemon Alika Safavi; aunt, Nora Santos; and numerous other family members.

Anna Marie Leferink was born Dec. 11, 1925, in Yakima, Wash. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, the Woman's Club of Fort Worth and its Euterpian Club and World Wings (Pan American World Airways ex-flight attendants' organization). She was past president of the Officers Wives Clubs at Carswell Air Force Base, Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi and K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Michigan. Mrs. Leferink had also been an American Red Cross volunteer.

Survivors: Her husband, retired Air Force Lt. Col. Albert Leferink Jr.; sons, David Leferink of Newburgh, Ind., Dick Leferink of Inchelium, Wash., and Tom Leferink of Arlington; daughter, Lauren Leferink-Ray of The Woodlands; and grandchildren, Cal, Meaghan, Lee, Ray Lyn, Stuart, Robin, Derek and Connor.

FORT WORTH -- Billy McFatridge, 64, a retired dispatcher, died Wednesday, June 11, 1997, at a local hospital.

Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park.

Billy McFatridge was born March 23, 1933. He retired from Lone Star Industries, where he was a dispatcher for 23 years. He also served in the Navy for 12 years.

Survivors: Son, Billy Anthony McFatridge of Fort Worth; stepsons, David Wayne McFatridge of Joshua, Darrell Cain of Fort Worth and Phillip Eugene McFatridge of Gun Barrel City; stepdaughter, Terri Wilcox of Fort Worth; brothers, J.D. McFatridge of Garland, Norman McFatridge of Fort Worth and Vernon McFatridge of Oklahoma; sisters, Katherine Force of Fort Worth and Joyce Landrith of Alvarado; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

William Kyle McKnight was born Aug. 22, 1978, in Arlington. He would have been a sophomore at Weatherford College. He graduated from Martin High School in 1996 and was an active member of the Future Farmers of America and the Rodeo Club.

Survivors: Parents, William E. and Becky McKnight of Arlington; sister, Leigh Ann McKnight of Arlington; paternal grandparents, Kelly and Rebecca McKnight of Arlington; maternal grandmother, Dardanella Owens of Arlington; aunts and uncles, Becky and Hershey Muse of Conroe and Jim and Gail Owens of Arlington; and cousins, Paul Owens and Jennifer Kasick, both of Arlington.

J. Kenneth McNeil
FORT WORTH -- J. Kenneth McNeil, 88, a retired electrician, died Tuesday, June 10, 1997, in Fort Worth.

J. Kenneth McNeil was born Oct. 12, 1908, in Mount Olive, Miss. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Southwest Lions Club. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star in New Braunfels.

Mr. McNeil was preceded in death by his wife, Corinne Polk McNeil.

Survivors: Daughters, Nancy M. Cornell and her husband, Gordon, of Fredericksburg and Donna Moore and her husband, Dan, of Fort Worth; brother, Edward McNeil; sisters, Nancie Lou Harvison and Mattie C. Robinson; grandchildren, Gordon and Suzie Cornell of Rowlett, Kevin Moore of Austin and Emily Moore of Fort Worth; and two great-grandchildren.

Francis J. Monaghan Jr.
FORT WORTH -- Francis Joseph "Frank" Monaghan Jr., 71, a retired teacher of hypnosis, died Saturday, June 7, 1997, at his home.

Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Cremation Society.

Francis Joseph "Frank" Monaghan Jr. was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pa. He was a pioneer in the field of hypnosis. He and several of his colleagues founded the first school for the education of hypnosis in the state of Texas. It was the first school in Texas permitted to certify hypnotists. He published the `Walking Sleep' in 1972. Mr. Monaghan began his practice at the Mallick Towers and later moved to Blue Bonnet Circle and then to Grapevine Highway. During the course of his career, he worked with several area police departments doing interrogation and investigative work.

Mr. Monaghan served in the Navy during World War II, flying reconnaissance missions over the Pacific.

Survivors: Daughter, Denise Sharon Sweeney; five grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; and many close friends and associates.

Juanita Davis Moore
FORT WORTH -- Juanita Davis Moore, 74, a retired housekeeper, died Monday, June 9, 1997, at home.

Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pinkston's Mortuary.

Juanita Moore was born Jan. 1, 1923, in Kingwian, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Libbie Moore.

Survivors: Sons, Auther Lee Davis of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Husie Lee Davis of Omaha, Neb.; daughters, Evelyn Haywood and Nadine Green, both of Fort Worth; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

CARROLLTON -- Dell V. Perry, 75, a retired 20-year employee of the Department of Treasury, passed away Thursday, June 12, 1997, in Carrollton.

Memorial service: 2 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church in Carrollton. Rev. Harold Klias Perciful will officiate.

Memorials: in lieu of usual remembrances, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Dell Perry was born Nov. 26, 1921, in Coffeyville, Kan.

He retired in 1981. He was a member of NARFE, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Chapter 1139, and the Masonic Lodge in Grand Junction, Colo.

Survivors: Loving wife of 53 years, Betty Perry of Carrollton; son, Greg Perry of Fort Worth; daughter, Sara King of Haslet; and granddaughters, Megan King and Libby King.

Karen Ferguson Romer was born May 23, 1918, in Granger.

She was the valedictorian of the graduating class of 1936 from Sinton High School. She was an executive secretary from 1960-1983 with Almar-York Air Conditioning and a sales service supervisor at Jefferson Standard Life Insurance Co. She was an executive secretary from 1939-1945 at Plymouth Oil Co. in Sinton and a legal secretary from 1945-1949 at an Austin law firm.

Survivors: Son, Dr. John Romer and his wife, Stefani, of Rockport; daughters, Kris Potts and her husband, Jeff, of Fort Worth.; and grandchildren, Sean, Cameron and Alyson.
