Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials: American Heart Association or a charity of choice.

Mr. Winter was born April 23, 1905, in Matador.

He was a member of Stockyards Masonic Lodge and Diamond Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors, all of Fort Worth: Sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Sue Winter and Jack and Paula Winter; and granddaughter, Alana Winter.

Woodie Allred was born Aug. 11, 1921, in Decatur.

He was a member of Free Methodist Church.

Survivors: Wife, Esther Ann Allred of Fort Worth; stepsons, Larry Elmer Childress, Gary Lynn Childress, Dennis Lee Childress and Archie L. Childress; and numerous step-grandchildren.

Archie Arnold was born Sept. 24, 1919, in Lewisville, Texas.

Jack E. Baker was born Nov. 1, 1922, in Amarillo.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Pat Blanscet
FORT WORTH -- Pat Blanscet, 55, an engineer, died Monday, May 26, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Pat Blanscet was born Oct. 4, 1941, in Burkburnett.

He worked for Lockheed for 20 years and enjoyed overseas assignments in Indonesia and Korea.

Survivors: Wife, Hee Soon Blanscet of Fort Worth; daughter, Kelly Blanscet of Arlington; brother, Johnny Michael Blanscet of Fort Worth; aunts, Ruth Hicks, Willie Thornton, Dixie Tuppen and Kathleen Cox, all of Wichita Falls; and uncles, Vern Blanscet of California and Jack Blanscet of Houston.

Clara Brant was born Aug. 12, 1906, in Taylorville, Ill. She moved to Fort Worth four years ago from Upland, Calif.

Lorena Mae Krebs Byars
ARLINGTON -- Lorena Mae Krebs Byars, 92, a retired sales clerk, died Sunday, May 25, 1997, in Arlington.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Sullivan Funeral Home in Vernon. Burial: East View Cemetery in Vernon.

Lorena Byars was born June 1, 1904, in Hale Center. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Vernon, then the North Davis Church of Christ in Arlington after moving in 1982.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jo Anna Krebs; husband, Dewey G. Byars; daughter, Mary Jo Franks; and an infant son, Donald Lee Byars.

Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, L.J. "Buddy" Byars and Becky Byars of Mineral Wells; daughter and son-in-law, Dot and Bill Stewart of Arlington; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Joe R. Krebs of Vernon.

Isabel Carrier was born June 11, 1925, in Burlington, Vt. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Survivors: Husband, Robert Carrier of Bedford; children, David, Christine and Robin; sister, Gloria; and three grandchildren.

Gerald E. Conrow
CROWLEY -- Gerald E. Conrow, 77, a retired power-tool production manager, died of lung cancer Saturday, May 24, 1997, at a local hospital.

Memorial service: at a later date.

Gerald E. Conrow was born June 6, 1919, in Santa Ana, Calif.

He had lived in the Chicago area for 50 years and retired to Arizona in 1985. In January 1997, he moved to Crowley. He was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church of Sun City, Ariz.

Mr. Conrow will be remembered as a well-read, insightful and articulate man of many interests and a devoted family man.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Hart Conrow; mother, Maud Jane Miller; and his oldest brother, Don.

Survivors: Beloved wife of 54 years, Edda Fenili Conrow; son, Richard Conrow and his wife, Aurelia, and daughter, Gina, all of Phoenix; son, Raymond Conrow and his wife, Kimberly, and their son, Adam, of Crowley; and brothers, Sam and Stan Conrow and John Lightfoot of California.

The family expresses its gratitude to Community Hospice of Cleburne, especially Rhonda Rice and Patty Sossamon, and to the staff of Huguley Nursing Center, especially Ginger Bruce.
