Mrs. Losli was born Oct. 1, 1913, in Mansfield and lived in the Fort Worth area all her life. She attended Mansfield and Fort Worth schools and graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1931.

Survivors: Son, C. Don Ray and wife, Arveta of Kennedale; stepson, Clarence L. Ray of Wells, Nev.; daughters, Delane Ray Newell and husband, David of Fort Worth and Shirley Losli Preas of Austin; brother, Carl Galloway and wife, Dorothy of Houston; sisters, Roberta Brown, Irma Rawden and Loraine Thornton, all of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Edna Mitcham was born June 18, 1917, in Greensboro, N.C. She had lived in Fort Worth 58 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother.

Survivors: Husband, Norvell Johnson Mitcham; son, Paul E. Mitcham; daughter, Billie L. Polson; brother, Vic Pleasants; grandchildren, Edna DeAnna Polson Dickinson, Cheryl Rene Mitcham Perales and Christie Rhae Mitcham Remualdo; great-grandchildren, Christopher Earlie Dickinson, Conway Evan Dickinson, Chase Michael Polson and Ashton Brooke Polson.

Brady Lee Mootz
FORT WORTH -- Brady Lee Mootz, 78, a hospital administrator, died Saturday, May 31, 1997, at home.

Memorial service: 4 p.m. Monday at University Christian Church. Entombment: 11 a.m. Monday at Hillcrest Mausoleum in Dallas.

Memorials: The Gentry Shelton Music Fund or the Granville and Erline Walker Scholarship Fund at University Christian Church.

Brady Mootz was born Nov. 5, 1918, in Huntington, W.Va.. He had lived in Fort Worth since 1975. He graduated from Kemper Military Academy, the University of Minnesota with a bachelor of science, Ohio State University with a master's of business administration and the University of Chicago with a master's of business adminstration. He served five years in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was discharged as a Lt. Commander.

He was a Fellow of the American Hospital Association and he was president of the North Carolina and South Carolina Hospital Associations. He was a member of University Christian Church, where he was an elder. He was also a member of the Rotary, and a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Shrine in Columbus, Ohio.

He was the builder of Medical Plaza Hospital and its administrator for 10 years. In 1984, the Dallas and Fort Worth Hospital Council honored Mr. Mootz and Richard Connor with the Boone Powell Award.

He was preceded in death by grandson, Brady Lee Mootz, III.

Survivors: Wife, Jean Ratliff Mootz of Fort Worth; children, Ann Mootz Weissler, M.D. and husband, Jon, M.D., of Dallas, and Brady Lee Mootz, II, M.D., and wife, Marcia, of Dallas; grandchildren, Amanda, Amy and Logan Weissler and Marilyn and Allison Mootz.

Mr. Peers was born Dec. 4, 1928, in Fort Worth and had been a lifetime area resident. He graduated from Polytechnic High School and continued his education at Texas A&M University and The University of Texas at Arlington. For 40 years, he was the owner/operator of Peer's Tax and Bookkeeping Service.

Survivors: Wife, Priscilla Peers of Haltom City; and several nieces and nephews.

Laura Hopkins Rabb
FORT WORTH -- Laura Hopkins Rabb, 87, a homemaker, died Saturday, May 31, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Laura Rabb was born Sept. 11, 1909, in Alba. She was a member of Overton Park United Methodist Church. She was also past president of United Methodist Women and a member of Eastern Star Chapter 530 in Granbury. She graduated from Lone Oak High School and attended Texas Woman's University.

She was preceded in death by parents, Pierce and Margaret Hopkins, and sister, Ruth Dale.

Survivors: Husband, Cecil Avon Rabb of Fort Worth; son, Craig Pierce Rabb of Warrenton, Va.; daughters, Martha Ruth Stout of Granbury and Sally Ann Cox of Willow Park; brother, Philip R. Manuel Ramos was born July 17, 1917, in Mart, to Sisto and Andrea Magdaleno Ramos. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. He was a longtime resident of Fort Worth. He retired from General Dynamics after 25 years of service. He managed rental property until his death.

Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Eufemia Ramos of Fort Worth; sons, Robert Ramos and wife, Laura, of Fort Worth, and Joe Ramos and wife, Patsy, of Wichita Falls; daughters, Delores Vasquez and husband, Joe, of Arlington, and Olivia Thompson of Fort Worth; 12 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren; and sister, Mary Herrera of Fort Worth.

Oscar Roberts was born Dec. 8, 1914, in Jonesboro, La. He was a member of River Oaks Baptist Church and the River Oaks Masonic Lodge. He retired from General Dynamics in 1975 after 37 years of service.

He was preceded in death by beloved wife, Gladys Roberts, in July 1992.

Survivors: Sons, O. Allan Roberts Jr. of Little Rock, Ark., and Jerry Hartzo and H. Cleo Hartzo, both of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren; nephew, Bob Roberts of Haughton, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Alice Byrd Throne
RIVER OAKS -- Mary Alice Byrd Throne, 71, a homemaker, died Thursday, May 29, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Mary Alice Byrd Throne was born May 14, 1926, in Oklaunion, the sixth child of Ben and Emma Byrd. She went to school there and graduated in 1945. She married Bill Throne September 1, 1945, and they were married more than 51 years. Mary worked at Bob Abey Photography Studio, but quit to rear a family. Afterward, she worked at Bob Abey's for several more years.

Mary was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to play bingo, go to the Moose Lodge, boat club and work around her flower gardens at home. She loved crossword puzzles, televison game shows and reading novels. She especially loved to cook for her family and took great pride in cooking delicious home-cooked meals. Mary was a member of the Rockwood Christian Church for more than 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Emma Byrd; her brothers, L.C. and Freeman Byrd; her sisters; Mae Ethel McElroy and Norine Byars, and her grandson, Aaron Throne.

Survivors: Mary is survived by her loving husband, Bill Throne of Fort Worth; sons, Benny Carl and his wife, Barbara of Fort Worth, John William and his wife, Cindy of Boise, Idaho, Dennis Dean and his wife, Karen of Fort Worth; sister, Willie Lou Martin and her husband, Clyde of Clarksville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Blake Throne and Toby Jo Johnson, both of Fort Worth, Lisa Woody and her husband, Trent of Mansfield, Jennifer Throne, Jarilyn Throne, J.T.
