BENBROOK -- Cumbakonam Krishnaswami "C.K." Dorasami, 93, a retired India customs officer, died Thursday, June 5, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Memorial service: 3 p.m. Sunday at Western Hills Baptist Church, 8500 Chapin Road.

Cumbakonam Dorasami,"C.K." as he is fondly remembered, was born March 14, 1904, in Cumbakonam, India, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Krishnaswami Iyer and came to Fort Worth in 1982. He studied botany and zoology at Madras Christian College in India. "C.K." enjoyed gardening vegetables which he shared with everyone. He and his wife of 57 years were volunteers at John Peter Smith Hospital and the Fort Worth Public Library.

Survivors: Wife, Saraswati "Sara" Dorasami; son, Krishna Dorasami; daughter-in-law, Linda and grandsons, Ravi, Rajan and Jamie Dorasami, all of Benbrook, with whom C.K. and Sara have shared their home 16 years; son, Dr. D. Raman of Ireland; grandaughter Maya Mantoo of India; two nephews, Dr. V. Ramachandran and V. Ranganathan of India; and great-grandson, Gabriel Dorasami of Fort Worth.

FORT WORTH -- Patricia K. Francis, 63, a clerical worker in human resources for Burlington Resources, died Friday, June 6, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Calvary Cathedral. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rev. Bob Nichols will officiate.

Memorials: American Cancer Society.

Patricia Francis was born Oct. 5, 1933, in Waco.

She was a member of Calvary Cathedral and Desk and Derrick.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Francis.

Survivors: Children, Bruce Lesikar, Craig Lesikar and Gail Jackson, all of Fort Worth; stepchildren, Francine Francis, Will Francis and Elaine Francis; sister, Carole "Cissy" Townsend of Hurst; grandchildren, Lori, mark and Stephanie, all of Fort Worth; and nieces and nephews.

AZLE -- Tony A. Giles, 28, a dental technician, died Tuesday, June 3, 1997, at his residence.

Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home. Burial: Azleland Memorial Park.

Mr. Tony A. Giles was born Nov. 17, 1968, in North Richland Hills and was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Azle High School in 1987 and attended A.T.I. Career Training Institute's dental program, from which he graduated in 1989.

Mr. Giles was a Dallas Cowboys fan. An avid fisherman, he loved the outdoors.

Survivors: Parents, Marvin B. and Margaret A. Giles of Azle; brother and sister-in-law, David Michael and Ramona Giles of Fort Worth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Katherine Ann and Russell Seaton and Lora Jean and James Barrow, all of Fort Worth; six nieces and two nephews; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Leroy R. Hall was born May 5, 1936, in San Diego, Calif. He worked for United Airlines for several years.

LAKE WORTH -- Cleo Joyce Kinsey, 80, a homemaker, died Thursday, June 5, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Cleo Joyce Kinsey was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Wise County. She was raised in Wise County and had lived in Lake Worth from the late 1940s until 1989 when she moved to Autumn Years Lodge, where she made many friends.

She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Kinsey was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Kinsey, in 1961 and a grandson, Kelly Kinsey, in 1992.

Survivors: Son, Thomas J. Kinsey of Austin; son and daughter-in-law, Don W. and Minnie Kinsey of Fort Worth; daughter, Mrs. Estel Joyce Kinsey Beaton of Watauga; brother and sister-in-law, T.C. and Mary Boren of Haltom City; sister, Mrs. Lera Mae Boren Klein of Springtown; 11 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

FORT WORTH -- Helen Peabody Marietta, 83, a homemaker, died Wednesday, June 4, 1997, in Austin.

Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Ridglea United Methodist Church. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. A reception to greet friends will be held afterward at the family home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to a charity of choice.

Helen Peabody Marietta was born Nov. 10, 1913, in Newport, R.I., the daughter of Lionel and Helen Ward Peabody. She had resided in Fort Worth for 47 years. She graduated from Peter- Bent Brigham Nursing School in 1934 and married Dr. John Stanley Marietta on Nov. 21, 1942. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1980.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Alice Peabody Blaikie and Eunice Peabody Kelly; and her brothers, Lionel Peabody and Herbert Peabody.

Survivors: Sons, William S. Marietta of Albuquerque, N.M., Richard A. Marietta of Houston and John R. Marietta and his wife, Jeanne, of Austin; daughter, Cynthia A. Marietta and her husband, Charles Williamson, of Fredericksburg; sister, Elizabeth Peabody Bulk; and grandchildren, Michael Wright of Huntington Beach, Calif., Stephen Espinoza and Juan Marietta, both of Los Angeles, Calif., Loren, Megan and Matthew Marietta of The Woodlands, Erin and Emily Marietta of Austin and Loren Marietta of Albuquerque.
