FORT WORTH -- Martha Mai Jones, a retired fashion coordinator, died Tuesday, June 10, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Memorial service: 2 p.m. Sunday at First Jefferson Unitarian Church, 1959 Sandy Lane, Fort Worth, Texas 76112.

Memorials: in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of North Texas, Tarrant County Food Bank or charity of choice.

Martha Jones was a top model in the Fort Worth/Dallas area in the 1950s and 60s, contracting with such retailers as the old Fair Department Store in Fort Worth, Koslow's and the Dallas Apparel Mart.

After her modeling career, she worked as a fashion coordinator for Stripling & Cox Department Store in Fort Worth for more than 20 years.

She leaves many, many friends as she was a longtime Fort Worth resident and worked many years in the fashion industry.

Survivors: Daughter, Jill Wachter and her husband, Fred, of Seattle; and aunt, Mrs. Gladys Mayfield of Fort Worth.

Helen Kelley was born Feb. 24, 1917, in Spartanburg, S.C.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Major Charles Kelley, in 1975. Mrs. Kelley was a Fort Worth resident 40 years. She was past president of the Lady Elks Lodge and a member of the Carswell Officer's Wife's Club. Mrs. Kelley was a member of Hulen Street Baptist Church.

Survivors: Daughters, Kay Carter of Fort Worth, Kaaron Karambelas of Columbus, Ga., and Kimberly Stark of Arlington; brothers, Carl Callaham and Jack Callaham, both of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Nelle Lewis of Atlanta, Ga.; and nine grandchildren.

Kathleen M. Kleinkauf was born Oct. 4, 1937, in St. Joseph, Mo. She had been a Fort Worth resident since 1968 and gave of her time to the charities of Northeast Emergency Distribution, of which she served on the board, and Care Corp. She also served in the gift shop of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. She was a member of Richland Hills Christian Church and active in the Oak Crest Women's Club. She sang in her church choir and was a member of Fort Worth Baptist Seminary Auditorial Choir.

Survivors: Husband of 38 years, James H. Kleinkauf of Fort Worth; daughters and sons-in-law, Annette and Don Morrow of Rogers, Ark., Dianne and Garrett Lude of LaGrange and Denise and Bryan Botzki of Detroit, Mich.; brother and sister-in-law, Robert McCrory and wife, Nancy, of Mound City, Mo.; sisters and brother-in-law, Janet McCrory of Kimberling City, Mo., and Suzie and Greg Nedblake of Kansas City, Mo.; and grandchildren, Amy Kathleen Morrow, David Patrick Morrow and Sarah Louise Lude.

Anna Marie Leferink was born Dec. 11, 1925, in Yakima, Wash. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, the Woman's Club of Fort Worth and its Euterpian Club and World Wings (Pan American World Airways ex-flight attendants' organization). She was past president of the Officers Wives Clubs at Carswell Air Force Base, Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi and K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Michigan. Mrs. Leferink had also been an American Red Cross volunteer.

Survivors: Her husband, Albert Leferink Jr.; sons, David Leferink of Newburgh, Ind., Dick Leferink of Inchelium, Wash., and Tom Leferink of Arlington; daughter, Lauren Leferink Ray of The Woodlands; and grandchildren, Cal, Meaghan, Lee, Ray Lyn, Stuart, Robin, Derek and Connor.

BRECKENRIDGE -- Doris Lewis, 83, a former dietitian at Eastland Memorial Hospital, died Tuesday, June 10, 1997, at a Breckenridge hospital.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at Elliott Street Church of Christ. Burial: Eastland Cemetery. Jim Cox will officiate.

She was a member of the Elliott Street Church of Christ and moved to Breckenridge in 1968.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors: Husband, Vernon Lewis of Breckenridge; daughters and sons-in- law, Jan and Cliff Clary and Kay and Jim Westbrook; sons and daughters-in-law, Phil and Marilyn Lewis and Mike and Sharon Lewis; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five sisters; three brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Floyd M. Martin was born March 8, 1907, in Indian territory. He was a member of Carpenter's Local 429 for 55 years. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Ray Pitcock, in May 1997.

Survivors: Wife of 29 years, Cora Lou Martin; sons, Carl Martin of Weatherford and Ronnie Pitcock of Fort Worth; daughters, Vera Inez Austin of New Mexico, Mary Jo Cotton of Fort Worth, Lois Ray Green of Houston, Helen Ruth Ripple of Springtown, Peggy Shute of New Jersey and Penny Lindsey of Fort Worth; sister, Rachel Timberlake of Alex, Okla.; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

John M. "Jack" McCoy was born Feb. 6, 1928, in Hamilton. He retired after 37 years at LTV. He was a graduate of SMU and a United States Army veteran.

Survivors: Wife of 45 years, Patricia M.; sons, John M. McCoy Jr. of Arlington and Bill McCoy and wife, Kathy, of Coppell; daughter, May Kathleen McCoy of Arlington; brother, William E. McCoy and wife, Mary, of Dallas; and grandchildren, Will McCoy of Arlington and Kealy Ann McCoy of Tucson, Ariz.
