Charles M. Reinhardt
ARLINGTON -- Charles M. Reinhardt, 68, a retired engineer, passed away Thursday, July 3, 1997, in Arlington.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home.

Memorials: in lieu of flowers, the American Cancer Society.

Charles M. Reinhardt was born Nov. 3, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo. He retired from Murdoch Engineering Company, a subsidiary of Lockheed, in 1991. In his 16 years with Murdoch, he served as director of product assurance and director of technology. Previously, he served as a manager and senior project engineer at Lockheed Propulsion Company in California from 1960 until his transfer to Murdoch in 1975. He was responsible for 14 patents in the fields of solid rocket propellants and flexible seals. Before receiving his B.A. in chemistry from St. Louis University in 1952, Charles served in the United States Army from August 1946 until July 1948. He achieved the rank of Tech 5 as dog handler and trainer while stationed at Sandia Army Base in Albuquerque, N.M. He began his distinguished working career as a project chemist for Olin Industries from 1952 until joining Lockheed in 1960.

In recent years, he acted as a quality control consultant for Oil States Industries. Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying extended deep sea fishing trips aboard the Red Rooster II out of San Diego.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Reinhardt, his parents, Clarence and Katherine Reinhardt, and brothers, Joseph Reinhardt and Hubert Reinhardt.

Survivors: Wife, Jean M. Reinhardt; son, Tom Reinhardt and his wife, Dawne; daughters, Karen Reinhardt, Peggy Murphy and her husband, Hugh, and Teri Cage and her husband, Thomas; sister, Mary Columbo and her husband, John, of Raleigh, N.C.; sisters- in-law, Carol Reinhardt and Ann Reinhardt of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Amanda Cage, Jacke Cage, Mary Cage, Colin Murphy, Liam Murphy, Sawyer Reinhardt, Morgan Reinhardt, Preston Williams, Blair Williams and Arthur Williams; and stepchildren, Arthur Williams and his wife, Teri, and Edward Williams and his wife, Vicki.

Dorothy J. Sanderson
WHITE SETTLEMENT -- Dorothy Jewell Sanderson, 84, a retired clerical employee of Miller Mutual, died Tuesday, July 1, 1997, in White Settlement.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. The Rev. Jimmy C. Bradford will officiate. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Dorothy Jewell Sanderson was born Feb. 2, 1913, in Fort Worth.

Survivors: Husband, James Lloyd Sanderson; sons, James Edward Sanderson of Evergreen, Colo., and Charles Jack Sanderson of Van Alstyne; and eight grandchildren.

Tim Scott
FORT WORTH -- Tim Scott, 76, who retired from building maintenance, died Thursday, July 3, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Tim Scott was born July 7, 1920, in Bowie County.

He was a long time member of Cherry Lane Baptist Church and Corina Drive Baptist Church. He was a decorated World War II veteran who received the Purple Heart from service in combat. He retired from Carswell AFB and was a member of DAV.

Survivors: Son, Jack W. Scott of Joshua; daughter, Pat Meeker of Fort Worth; sister, Loraine Cox of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Tim Scott, Tara Scott, Sherry Hogg, Rena' Austin and Rusty Russell; and great-grandchildren, Brandon and Riley Hogg.

Stella G. Sears
FORT WORTH -- Stella G. Sears, 79, a homemaker, died Thursday, July 3, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. General visitation: Saturday and Sunday.

Stella Sears was born Sept. 22, 1917, in Olney.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bedford and was a resident of Tarrant County for 50 years. She was the widow of Ziggy Sears, well known baseball player for the New York Yankees. She was a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Ziggy Sears

Survivors: Sons, Kenneth Sears and Billy Sears, both of Fort Worth; and two grandsons, Kyle Sears and Bobby Clem.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Robert F. Tipton Sr., 74, a retired supervisor for American Manufacturing, died Thursday, July 3, 1997, at a local hospital.

Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Robert F. Tipton Sr. was born Aug. 25, 1922.

He had served in the Coast Guard and retired from American Manufacturing in 1982.

Survivors: Wife of 44 years, Frances Kay Tipton of North Richland Hills; sons, Robert F. Tipton Jr. of Oklahoma City, Richard W. Tipton of Hurst and Russell L. Tipton of Rockwall; sister, Louella Bell of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Winters was born Nov. 10, 1908, in Bazette.

PARADISE -- Sigman John Bartosiak, 80, a machinist for Bell and Howell Company, died Wednesday, July 2, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Mr. Bartosiak was born Feb. 25, 1917, in South Bend, Ind.

He was married to the late Dolores Warych Bartosiak. He was an Army veteran and a Roman Catholic.
