Lawrence Clofton Archer was born May 6, 1922, in Millsap. He was a Baptist and Navy veteran who served in World War II.

Survivors: Sons, Kenneth Archer of Azle and Charlie Archer of Missouri; daughter, Charlotte Robinson of Houston; sister, Lucille Galloway of Mineral Wells; eight grandchildren; one stepson; one stepdaughter; 11 step- grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mildred Hazelwood Walling Beaty was born May 16, 1905, in Dayton, N.M.

She was a charter member of Meadowbrook Church of Christ and Handley Church of Christ and very active in civic and Christian education on the east side of Fort Worth.

Beaty Jr. of Bacliff and Jim Madison Beaty of Fort Worth; grandsons, Zane Madison Beaty of Grapevine and Zachary Wade Beaty and Wesley Slade Beaty, both of Tampa, Fla.; granddaughters, Bronwyn Lee Merkle of Arlington and Lisa Renee Gentry of Fort Worth; and seven great- grandchildren.

Lillian R. Beaudin was born May 15, 1929, in Bridgeport, Conn. She retired in 1994 after 23 years with the Dallas Naval Air Station.

Survivors: Sons and daughters-in- law, Thomas and Johnnie Beaudin, James and Debbie Beaudin and Richard Beaudin; daughter, Carol Perry; sister and brother-in-law, Anna Mae and Mervin Ritchie; and eight grandchildren.

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- King Davidson "KD" Bell Jr., 69, a retired project tool design engineer who had been with Lockheed for 35 years, died Tuesday, July 8, 1997, at a Bedford hospital after a 31/2-year battle with chronic leukemia.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Smithfield United Methodist Church. Burial: Smithfield Cemetery. Visitation: noon to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

King Davidson "KD" Bell Jr. was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Handley, Texas. He was a 60-year member of Smithfield United Methodist Church, serving as the choir director and as a member of the choir for many years. He was a resident of the Smithfield area for 63 years. He was an avid bridge player at Bursey Road Senior Center in North Richland Hills. He was a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed both on-road and off-road riding.

Survivors: Wife, Pat Bell of North Richland Hills; son, Randy King Bell of North Richland Hills; daughter, Debbie Bell Uncel and her husband, Steve, of Haltom City; mother, Ruby Delia Bell of North Richland Hills; brother, Bobby Ross Bell of Rhome; grandson, Phillip King Bell; nephews, Kevin and David; and niece, Penny.

Mae Bradley was born Aug. 5, 1905, in Tolar. She was a member of Iredell United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 1991, and a son, Billy Joe, in 1963.

Pleas Brown was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Winona, Texas. He moved to Fort Worth in 1935. He attended Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecil May Brown, on April 1, 1989; his parents, Jim Brown Sr. and Lillie Phillips Brown; two sisters, Mary Brown Pierce and Lovie Brown Mickens; and one brother, Jim Brown Jr.

Survivors: Two daughters, Donna D. DeVoe and Sharon D. Carter; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

FORT WORTH -- Anita Gee Bullard, 78, beloved wife, mother, Grammy, aunt and friend, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 1997, in Arlington.

Anita was born in Erath County on Sept. 2, 1918. She was a member of St. Andrews and a former member of St. John's. She was employed by the federal government for 43 years, retiring from the Department of Housing and Urban Development in 1985. She was a member of the Women of St. Andrews Guild and the East Door Ministry. She loved books, gardening and sewing for her girls. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, and sister.

Survivors: Her husband of 47 years, Jim Bullard of Fort Worth; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Stephen Penca of Arlington; granddaughters, Katie Penca and Caroline Penca; several nieces and nephews; and extended family of Kathy, Bob, Rachel and Claire Ford.
