Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Smithfield Cemetery in Smithfield.

Henry Bridges was born Jan. 4, 1928, in Fort Worth. He was an Army veteran, a driver for Yellow Cab Co. and a former cement company employee.

Survivors: Wife, Lillie Bridges of Fort Worth; son, Henry C. Bridges, Jr. and wife, Mieko, of Jacksonville, N.C.; stepson, Eddie Gene Phillips of Fort Worth; daughter, Mary Helen Bridges of Fort Worth; step-daughter, Deborah Ann Phillips of Fort Worth; brothers, Fred Bridges and Amos Bridges, both of Fort Worth; sister, Dominga Puentes of West Texas; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Uinta Leona Brown was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Meridian.

She was an active member of Bethel Temple and was a staff member of Family Life Training Center.

Survivors: Husband, Jerry L. Brown of Fort Worth; son, Jerry D. Brown of Wichita, Kan.; daughters, Cindy Owings of Fort Worth and Tina Bailey of St. Louis, Mo.; father, Jack Holladay of Walnut Springs; brothers, Tommy Holladay of Weatherford and Danny Holladay of Walnut Springs; and 10 grandchildren.

Ruby Mae Carson was born Feb. 16, 1913, in Arlington. She was longtime member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.B. Carson.

Survivors: Sisters, Edna Bains of Fort Worth and Margie and her husband, Irless Jordan of Fort Worth; niece, Sharon Elam of Fort Worth; nephew, Jerry Jordan of Arlington; great nephews, Jeff Jordan and W.D. Elam; and great nieces, Jennifer Jordan, Rhonda Smith and Charlsie Aguilar; and several great nephews and nieces.

J.D. Coffman
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- J.D. Coffman, 86, a retired manufacturing foreman, died Friday, July 11, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.

Mr. Coffman was born Feb. 1, 1911, in Cottondale.

He was a professional boot maker, and tool maker at General Dynamics before becoming a manufacturing foreman at Bell Helicopter. He retired from Bell in 1978. He was a charter member of the Bridgeport Masonic Lodge and member of the Scottish Rite.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Coffman.

Survivors: Wife, Lucille Coffman of North Richland Hills; daughter, JoAnna Lewis of Garland; brother, Alex Coffman of Chico; sister, Faye Coffman of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Rob Lewis, Jamie Lewis, both of Garland, Don Coffman of Haltom City; stepchildren, David Deats and Annette Hampton, and their children; and grandchildren.

BEDFORD -- Rev. Elden H. Cole, 87, a retired Methodist Minister, died Friday, July 11, 1997, at an Azle hospital.

Funeral: Noon Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.

Elden H. Cole was born May 7, 1910, in Sanger. He was preceded in death by Madie Glass. He was in the service of the Lord, serving as a Methodist Minister for 44 years in Kentucky and in the North and West Texas conferences.

Survivors: Son, Robert E. Cole of Muskogee, Okla.; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Pyles of Bedford and Nancy Lynn Harper of Azle; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and goddaughter, Pattie Jean King of Bridgeport.

FORT WORTH -- Raymond R. "Rudy" Donoho, 70, a self-employed retiree, died Saturday, July 12, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Raymond Donoho was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Cleburne. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth. He served in the United States Marine Corps.

Survivors: Beloved friend, Irma Rawdon; son, Keith Donoho; and, brother, John F. Donoho.

FORT WORTH -- Robert L. Glover, 82, a retired maintenance worker, died Saturday, July 12, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Robert Glover was born Jan. 29, 1915, in Hartshorne, Okla. He had been a Fort Worth resident since 1929. He worked as a maintenance worker in the Recreation Department of the City of Fort Worth prior to his retirement in 1981.

He was preceded in death by wife, Lilly Glover, and son, Donald Ray Glover.

Survivors: Daughter, Stella Glover of Centerpoint; stepson, Edward Chapman of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, Claude Glover of Ridgecrest; step-brother, Douglas Allen of Granbury; sisters, Bobbie Moore of Watauga and Doris Johnson of Barstow, Calif.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Hal Lymoyne Groah
FORT WORTH -- Hal Lymoyne Groah , 65, a retired avionics superintendent, died Sunday, July 13, 1997, at home after a short illness.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Hal Groah was born April 12, 1932, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Kathleen and Alvin Groah.

He served in the Air Force Strategic Air Command for 28 years as an avionics superintendent, retiring in 1978. He also retired from General Dynamics, where he was a logistics representative for 11 years. He loved flying and was an FAA certified pilot and flight instructor.

He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Carswell Men's Golf Association. He was also a member of the Don Wolf Singing Group and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8235.

Survivors: Wife of 43 years, Ruby Groah of Fort Worth; daughters, Darlene Groah and Dianne Groah, both of Fort Worth, and Donna Harrell and husband, Martin, of Springtown; grandchildren, Kristin Harrell and Aaron Harrell, both of Springtown, and Michelle Groah of Fort Worth; and aunt and uncle, Dorothy and George Sturla of Temecula, Calif.

ARLINGTON -- Lisa A. Hencken, 39, a registered nurse, died Thursday, July 10, 1997, in Arlington.

Lisa A. Hencken was born Sept. 24, 1957, in Pittsfield, Mass. She received the Dr. Thomas Frist Humanitarian Award - 1991, South Arlington Medical Center, and was singled out by one co- worker as always going a step further than her peers to insure patient comfort and welfare-not only extending her help and kindness to her patients, but also to their family members.

Survivors: Husband, Daniel Hencken; daughters, Melody A. Hencken, Sara E. Hencken and Katherine G. Hencken; mother and stepfather, Charlotte and David Shea; brother, Dan Guild; and sisters, Jennifer Benigno and Maureen DeMott.

William Hodges was born Jan. 29, 1926, in Grapevine. He was member of the First Baptist Church of Grapevine. He retired from Mobil Oil Co., where he worked for 39 years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tinda Green. Survivors: Wife, Wanda Hodges of Grapevine; sons, Brian and his wife, Brenda Hodges of De Leon Springs, Fla.; son-in-law, John Green of Paris, Texas; mother, Gladys Hodges of Grapevine; brother, Kenneth Hodges of Colleyville; granddaughter, Sheena Hodges; and a number of other relatives.

SPRINGTOWN -- Dianne Lowe Jarvis, 55, a homemaker, lost a courageous battle to cancer on Friday, July 11, 1997, at an Arlington hospital.

Dianne Lowe Jarvis was born Feb. 21, 1942, in Greenville, and had been a Springtown resident since 1977. She was a dear, loving wife, mother, granny and a friend to all.

Homer Dee Lindsey
FORT WORTH -- Homer Dee Lindsey, 77, a retired truck driver, died Friday, July 11, 1997, at his Fort Worth residence.

Mr. Lindsey was born Dec. 18, 1919, in Big Sandy, to Virginia Corbett Lindsey and Luther E. Lindsey. He grew up in East Texas and worked in the oil fields of West Texas before serving as an Army paratrooper in World War II. He was married to Maxine Tinney Lindsey for 46 years. Mrs. Lindsey preceded him in death in 1991. Mr. Lindsey retired from Chemical Leaman Inc., in 1984, after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Baptist church, Teamsters, National Rifle Association and the Winnsboro Hunting and Fishing Club. Mr. Lindsey was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Rick Hatchett of Azle; granddaughter, Lindsey Anne Hatchett of Azle; brothers, Thurman Lindsey of Winnsboro and Bill Lindsey of Houston; and sister, Beryl Comer of Oklahoma City, Okla.
