John Carichner was born Sept. 24, 1910, in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Mr. Carichner worked at Bell for 25 years.

Survivors: Daughter, Claudia and her husband, Charles Foreman, of Arlington; devoted friends, Bernetta Coolidge and Jim Keding; sister, Lottie Lance; nephews and nieces, Harry and Earnest Carichner, Dorothy Nist and Gladys Sanderbeck.

FORT WORTH -- Harry Eugene Crossan Jr., 57, a retired data processing supervisor for Texas Utilities, died Tuesday, July 15, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. The Rev. Miles Seaborn will officiate. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday in Lakewood Cemetery in Marietta, Okla.

Harry Eugene Crossan Jr. was born Oct. 21, 1939, in Pampa and had lived in Fort Worth since 1956. He graduated from Arlington Heights High School and attended the University of Texas at Arlington. He was a member of Birchman Baptist Church.

Survivors: His children, Kelly Davis and her husband, Ken, of Iredell, William Crossan and his wife, Kim, of Joshua, Michael Crossan of Arlington and Stacie Chandler and her husband, Thom, of Bedford; parents, Ellouise and Tony Iammatteo of Fort Worth; brother, George Neal Crossan Sr. and his wife, Judy, of Terrell; grandchildren, Catherine, Jacob and Bailey; and nieces and nephews.

William H. Ferguson
AZLE -- William H. "Red" Ferguson, 62, a retired millwright, died Tuesday, July 15, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Lakeside. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers: Ronnie Ferguson, Ronnie Ferguson II, Ethan Simpson, Craig Rice, Greg Rice and Mike Rees.

William H. "Red" Ferguson was born Nov. 25, 1934, in Hugo, Okla. He served in the Army, Airborne Division, as a paratrooper, completing 32 jumps. He built and repaired feed mills for many years.

Survivors: Wife, Virgie of Azle; son, Ronnie Howard Ferguson of Llano; daughter, Diana Simpson of North Richland Hills; stepsons, Jeff Rice and Craig Rice, both of Fort Worth, and Greg Rice of Albuquerque, N.M.; stepdaughter, Susan Rees of Fort Worth; brothers, Ray Ferguson of Plainview and Harold Ferguson of Weatherford; half sisters, Christine Wilkins of Plainview, Gladys Dendy of Ruidoso, N.M., and Harvey Jean Breese of Thomaston, Ga.; and grandchildren, Ethan Simpson, Ronnie Ferguson II, Kiska Ferguson, Paul Rice, Jonathan Rice, Carrie Rice, Jordan Rice and Hannah Rice.

Raymond Fieldhouse was born March 25, 1914, in Philadelphia, Pa.

He had been a Texas resident more than 80 years and a Parker County resident 25 years.

Lydia Wood Ford was born in Shawmutt, Ark., on July 18, 1903, and spent most of her life in Fort Worth and the Granbury area. She was a homemaker and member of Saginaw Park Baptist Church.

P.M. "Pat" Freudiger was born Oct. 23, 1926, in Vernon. He served in the Navy during World War II. He worked as an engineer for General Dynamics and retired in 1986 after 37 years' service.

Mr. Freudiger was preceded in death by his wife, Ann G. Freudiger, on Sept. 8, 1980.

Survivors: Sons, Jake Freudiger of Fort Worth and Bobby Wayne Freudiger of Bedford; daughters, Tanya Ewing of Richland Hills and Pat Bishop and Lauri Sanders, both of Springtown; brothers, B.D. Freudiger of Fort Worth, Woodrow Freudiger of Nevada and Bud Freudiger of Granbury; sisters, Ruth Blackshear of Levelland and Fern McCoy of Fort Worth; 13 grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.

Robert W. Hendrix
FORT WORTH -- Robert "Bob" Wayne Hendrix, 72, a retired Air Force senior master sergeant, died Thursday, July 17, 1997, at a local hospital.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Laurel Land Chapel of the Chimes of Fort Worth. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Robert Hendrix was born Aug. 11, 1924, in Blum.

In 1979 he retired from General Dynamics. He was a member of Arlington Heights Masonic Lodge No. 1184.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy Marie Hendrix.

Survivors: Daughters, Linda Sue Peggs of Euless, Julia Kay Vaughn of Dallas and Vicki Lynn Webster; sister, Pat Long of Teague; grandchildren, Mendy Webster, Haley Webster, Valerie Peggs and Robert Peggs; and three great-grandchildren.

Lucrettie Hensley was born Oct. 22, 1914, in Bradley County, Tenn.

She had been a Fort Worth area resident since 1948 and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hensley was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Hensley.

Survivors: Son, J.W. Hensley of Fort Worth; daughters, Pauline Miller and Mary Jo Henson, both of Blue Mound; sister, Georgie Brock of Dalton, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Sarah Louise Holland, in 1996.

Survivors: Son, Edgar Sterling Holland Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Benbrook; daughter, Norma Louise McElroy and her husband, Jerry, of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.

Wylma Mae Byars Kline
FORT WORTH -- Wylma Mae Byars Kline, 76, a homemaker, died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, at home.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Connell Baptist Church. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Memorials: Connell Baptist Church, in lieu of flowers.

Wylma Mae Byars Kline was born May 10, 1921, in Wichita Falls. She was a member of the Woman's Club and past president of the Creative Arts section, past president of the Fort Worth District Dental Auxiliary, past president of the Woman's Auxiliary to the Texas Dental Association, past president of the Rejebian Afternoon Book Review Club, and past president of the Philathea Sunday School Class. She was past secretary of Rico Pronto Investment Club and was a bridal hostess at Connell Baptist Church for several years. Mrs. Kline was also the director of the Young Woman's Auxiliary at Connell Baptist Church for 12 years and district director of YWA for three years.

She was employed as a juvenile probation officer for Tarrant County for seven years (1946-1953). She graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1939 and attended North Texas State University and Texas Christian University.

Mrs. Kline was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. J.R. Kline.

Survivors: Nieces, Barbara Zimmerman of California, Donna Divine of Lubbock and Charlotte Stephens of Denton; and nephews, Terry Byars of Fort Worth and Gary Warren of Austin.
