Alta Hoeflein Iverson was born Oct. 27, 1915, in Henrietta.

Albert Johannesson

HURST -- Albert Johannesson, 96, a retired furniture maker and refinisher, died Monday, July 21, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: noon Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 9 a.m. until service time Thursday.

Albert Johannesson was born Nov. 20, 1900, in Sweden.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Minnie, and brother, Willie Johannesson.

Survivors: Daughters, Beverly Brumble of Hurst and Shirley Pearson of Huntington Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Walter Weldon Kirkpatrick

CLEBURNE -- Walter Weldon Kirkpatrick, 78, a retired carman with Santa Fe Railroad, died Monday, July 21, 1997, at a Cleburne hospital.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at North Cleburne Baptist Church in Cleburne. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne.

Walter Kirkpatrick was born July 20, 1919, in Blum, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Marceille Kirkpatrick, on March 26, 1987, and by a son, Ronnie Kirkpatrick.

Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Ann Kirkpatrick of Cedar Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and James Mott of Burleson; brothers, L.B. Kirkpatrick of Granbury, W.C. Kirkpatrick and B.J. Kirkpatrick, both of Burleson, and J.D. Kirkpatrick of Kennedale; sisters, Fannie Brown of Grand Prairie, Helen Daniel of Kennedale and Doris Smith of Granbury; granddaughters, Stephanie Mott of Burleson and Krista Kirkpatrick of Cedar Hill; granddaughter and grandson-in- law, Karrie and Ken Johnson of Texarkana, Texas; and grandson, Shawn Mott of Burleson.

Frank Corry Lindsey

HICO -- Frank Corry Lindsey, 72, a retired LTV employee and a real estate broker, died Monday, July 21, 1997, at his home.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lacy Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Trey Turner, assisted by the Rev. Darryl Sewell. Burial: Nancy Smith Cemetery.

Frank Corry Lindsey was born Oct. 22, 1924, in Rockwall County. He married Wanda Underwood on March 18, 1944, in Glen Rose. He was a member of Duffau Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He was also a member and past master of Chalk Mountain Masonic Lodge 894, Hico Eastern Star Chapter 419 and a charter member of VFW Post 9181.

Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by his parents, Huel and Oda Lindsey; a brother, G.W. Lindsey; and a sister, Carol Evelyn Lindsey.

Survivors: His wife, Wanda Lindsey of Hico; sons and daughters-in-law, Corry Eugene and Vickie Lindsey of Midlothian and Galen Lester and Liz Lindsey of San Antonio; brothers, Lawrence Lindsey of Hico, Wayne Lindsey of Granbury, Robert C. ROANOKE -- D.D. McLean, 70, president of McLean Auto Salvage, Inc., died Monday, July 21, 1997, at home.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

D.D. McLean was born Jan. 29, 1927, in Cord, Ark. He came to Fort Worth in 1949, where he worked as a Maytag salesman. His slogan, he often laughed, was,"I Gar-ran-Tee You." Later he established a small car dealership and had been is business since then. He was a very honorable man and everyone loved him from all races and nationalities; what's more, he loved them.

He was a member of Texas Automotive Dismantlers and Recyclers Association, the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Association. He was a World War II veteran and loved people, horses and animals. Friends are invited to call his business.

Survivors: Wife of 481/2 years, Velma K. McLean of Roanoke; son, Paul McLean of Fort Worth; daughter, Sheila McLean Feuerborn and her husband, Wayne Feuerborn, of Roanoke; brother, Norman McLean of Fort Worth; sisters, Dorothy McLean of Emory, Natalie White of Wichita, Kan., and Ozella Reeves of Washington D.C.; eight grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.

Mary Mallie Ballard Moore

BEDFORD -- Mary Mallie Ballard Moore, 85, a homemaker, died Monday, July 21, 1997, at a Bedford hospital.

Mary Moore was born Aug. 3, 1911, in Verona, Miss. She moved to Fort Worth in 1941. She was a member of Arlington Heights United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian C. Moore, in 1984, and a granddaughter, Sharon E. Moore, in 1982.

Survivors: Sons, Adrian C. Moore Jr. and wife, Faye, of Bedford, and Dr. Larry A. Moore and wife, Wanda, of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Charlie Morris

AZLE -- Charlie Morris, 66, a retired truck driver, died Sunday, July 20, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home.

Charlie Morris was born in Mount Pleasant on Aug. 7, 1930. He had resided in the Azle area since 1989. He was a truck driver most of his life, most recently with Tandy Transportation until his retirement.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Geraldine Morris, in 1993, and a brother, Gene Morris.

Survivors: Son, Mike Morris of Azle; daughter, Linda Dysart of Fort worth; brothers, Harold Morris of Euless, James Morris of Lucas, Jimmy Morris of Grand Prairie and Roy Morris of Arlington; sisters, Billie Helm of Artesia, N.M., Betty Palmer of Cedar Hill, Mildred Camp of Dallas, Paulene Gardiner of Richardson and Kathleen Alexander of Mount Pleasant; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
