FORT WORTH -- Helen Cornelius Murphy, 67, a retired bookkeeper, died Monday, July 21, 1997, at home.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Helen Cornelius Murphy was born July 25, 1929, in Fort Worth.

She retired Nov. 1, 1996, from J&L Tanks, Inc. She was a graduate of North Side High School in 1947. She was a loving wife, mother and Nonnie and she will be greatly missed. She contributed to Meals on Wheels and looked forward to serving that organization.

Survivors: Husband of 48 years, Bill Murphy of Fort Worth; son, Don Murphy of Dallas; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Rony Duke of North Richland Hills and Karen and Kenneth Albee of Fort Worth; sisters, Maxine Sears of Holly Lake; and grandchildren, Karry Stevens, Lindsay Duke and Kelly Duke.

FORT WORTH -- Tyson Demond Nixon, 8, a second-grader, died Saturday, July 19, 1997, in Marshall.

Tyson Demond Nixon was born May 9, 1989, in Fort Worth.

Survivors: His parents, Aaron Thomas Sr. and Sandra Nixon; brothers, Brandon Fuller, Aaron Thomas Jr. and Aaron Stebenson; sisters, Destiny Nixon, Jasmine Nixon and Kayron Thomas; grandparents, Ethel Nixon, Fredrick Nixon Sr. and Obbie Lee Thomas; great-grandmother, Winnie Nixon; six uncles; seven aunts; and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Dolly Madison Norris

MINGUS -- Dolly Madison Norris, 97, died Monday, July 21, 1997, at a Ranger nursing home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mingus Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Speer will officiate. Burial: Doty Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Dean Parsons, Dale Parsons, Ray Parsons, Ernie Parsons, Robert Bearden and Recil Ott.

Dolly Madison Norris was born Sept. 3, 1899, in Erath County. She grew up in Exray. She worked for various ranches, including the Johnson League and the Long Ranch and lived in Gordon. She married Bill Norris. She was a member of Mingus Baptist Church.

Survivors: Sister, Pernie Wright; brother, T.W. Parsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Laura Belle Parker

PAULS VALLEY, Okla. -- Laura Bell Parker, 95, a retired business owner, passed away Friday, July 18, 1997, at a local hospital.

Laura Belle Parker was born July 5, 1902, in Monticello, Ark., to Rush and Lula Woods and was one of six children.

In her early years, she and her first husband, Paul Colbert Sr., owned and operated several shoe stores in Iowa and Minnesota. They had one child, Paul Colbert, who owned and operated Paul's Shoe Store in Pauls Valley for 26 years.

In 1958, she married her second husband, James E. Parker of Fort Worth, and lived there the majority of her life. During those years of marriage, the Parkers were involved in oil production and owned Parker Brothers Drilling Co. of Wichita Falls.

Mrs. Parker moved to Pauls Valley in 1975 and spent the rest of her life there. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Pauls Valley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Parker, and son, Paul Colbert Jr.

Survivors: Daughter-in-law, Mary Colbert of Pauls Valley; three granddaughters, Mary Ann Martin of Clewis- ton, Fla., Cynthia C. Bozarth of Fort Worth and Linda Sutton of Pauls Valley; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Ruth Daitch of Miami Beach, Fla.

BURLESON -- James H. Pilkington, 93, a federal government land surveyor who retired in 1974, died Sunday, July 20, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Oakgrove Baptist Church. Burial: Tye Cemetery in Burleson.

James H. Pilkington was born May 16, 1904, in Burleson. He was a member of Oakgrove Baptist Church.

Survivors: Wife, Era E. Pilkington of Burleson; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and Dane Cummins of Burleson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Temple F. Richardson

MAYSVILLE, Okla. -- Temple Francis Richardson, 84, died Sunday, July 20, 1997, at the home of her daughter, Betty, in Burleson, Texas, after a short illness.

Funeral was Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Maysville. Rev. Bob Langston officiated. Burial: Maysville Cemetery.

Temple Francis Richardson was born Sept. 25, 1912, in Maysville, Okla., to Morris and Mollie Westfall Abernathy. She had been a resident of Maysville, Okla., all her life. She attended Garvin Springs and Maysville schools. On Oct. 7, 1933, she married Sam Richardson. They had been married more than 60 years at the time of Sam's death in 1994. Temple was a good neighbor and friend to many. She was a member of the Home Extension Club of Maysville. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Maysville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Mollie Abernathy; brother, Ebber; and two sisters, Vada Womack and Lula Shalton.

Survivors: Daughters, Betty Bennett and her husband, Charles, of Fort Worth and JoAnn Ivey and her husband, Bill, of Hinton, Okla.; grandchildren, Mike Cagle, Cindy Hutto, Nancy Perez, Tammy Heard and Terry Ivey; great- grandchildren, Stacey Heard, Sherri Hutto, Richard Hutto, Daniel Hutto, Grace Cagle and Calvin Cagle; brothers, W.L. FORT WORTH -- Robbie "Bobbie" Lee Henderson Tims, 90, a retired cook, died Monday, July 21, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pinkston's Mortuary.

Robbie Lee Henderson Tims was born Oct. 28, 1906, in Teague. She came to Fort Worth at the age of 24. She was a faithful member of the Saint Andrews United Methodist Church, where she served as a class leader, worked in the Sunday School, worked on the Usher Board for 50 years, chairperson of United Methodist Women sub-group, a member of Ruth Group, Senior Citizens and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She participated in Mae Pearl McDonald Heroines of Jericho Court, Grandmother's Club and Fellowship Corner Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Tims, on March 28, 1990.

Survivors: Daughter, Jo Annette Taylor and her husband, Curtis, of Fort Worth; adopted daughter, Revodia Johnson; stepdaughter, Margaret Banks; brother, Lonnie Henderson and his wife, Failure; grandchildren, Karyn, Tonya and David Taylor; nine great- grandchildren; five nephews; and seven nieces.

Valton V. Vancleeve

SPRINGTOWN -- Valton V. Vancleeve, 63, a retired machinist for Lockheed, died Monday, July 21, 1997, at a Weatherford hospital.

Valton V. Vancleeve was born Aug. 25, 1933, in Afton.

He had retired from the Navy.
