Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Beth-Eden Missionary Baptist Church, 3309 Wilbarger. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Wake: 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Arddie Phillips was born Sept. 2, 1921, in Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her son, Rodney O. Phillips.

Survivors: Uncles, Rev. W.D. Oliver and Archie Oliver, both of Marshall; aunts, Embria Truitt of Fort Worth and Jennie Agar of Richmond; cousin and caretaker, Curtis and Virgie Savannah of Fort Worth; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Winnie Powell
BURLESON -- Winnie Powell, 75, a retired school cafeteria manager, died Thursday, July 24, 1997, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Shannon- TCU Funeral Home. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Winnie Powell was born March 22, 1922, in Rotan. She had been a Fort Worth Independent School District employee for 30 years. She worked at Daggett Middle School as a cafeteria supervisor.

Survivors: Sisters, Bertha Moore of Burleson and Estella Miller of Brock; and several nieces and nephews.

Steven William Preuitt
FORT WORTH -- Steven William Preuitt, 44, a retired Air Force master sergeant, died Thursday, July 24, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Memorial service was Friday at Church of Latter Day Saints. Burial: Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, Calif. Memorials: American Cancer Society.

Steven William Preuitt was born Oct. 15, 1952, in England.

Master Sgt. Preuitt was a retired, 20- year veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam, Thailand, England, Korea and Okinawa. He retired from the military to become a full time caretaker of his daughters. He was a proud and devoted father.

Survivors: Wife, Julie Preuitt; children, Su Kanda Randolph and her husband, Marquis, of Hawaii, Karen Preuitt of Modesto, Calif., and Melissa, LeAnn, and Kelli Preuitt of Fort Worth; father, Hardy William Preuitt of Modesto, Calif.; brother, Robert Turner Preuitt of Riverbank, Calif.; sisters, Jacqueline Turner, Sharon Harriman and Donna Renfro, all of Modesto, Calif.; grandchild, Kaelin Randolph; and nieces and nephews.

GALLUP, N.M. -- Louise Stenson, 81, of Gallup, N.M., died Wednesday, July 23, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at East Aztec Baptist Church. Pastor Gene Turk will officiate. Burial: Sunset Memorial Park in Gallup, N.M. Visitation: 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Rollie Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be: John Dowling, Shawn Dowling, Roy Jensurd, Bill Keeler, Charlie Mallery and Howard Menapace.

Louise Stenson was born June 6, 1916, in Haskell, Texas. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Union (WMU). She taught Sunday school for 42 years at the First Baptist Church, taught Bible sword drill at the First Baptist Church and taught Training Union and vacation Bible school. She was on the Mission's Committee of the First Baptist Church and was a part of the starting of 13 area missions. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and working with children and family. She loved to cook and prepared meals for families in need or crisis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carter M. Stenson, father, Eal Davis Treadwell, mother, Ola Mae Treadwell, sisters, Beulah Decker, Nina Earles, Wanda Taylor and Jimmie Trammel.

Survivors: Son, Michael Stenson and wife, Ruth, of Fort Worth; daughter, Suzanne Fortney and husband, Curtis, of Gallup, N.M.; sisters, Owieda Weaver and Joyce Chilton, both of Stamford, Billie Freeman of Aspermont and Jackie Riley of Albany.

FORT WORTH -- Yunuen Villarreal, an infant, died Friday, July 18, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Graveside service was Thursday in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

Yunuen Villarreal was born July 18, 1997, in Fort Worth.

`God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference.'

Ina Stripling Wall was born July 13, 1905.

Rose Marie Barry Alford was born Sept. 1, 1918, in Spokane, Wash.

She was an active member of Park Cities Baptist Church for 45 years. She was a Charter founder of the Century Garden Club. She was a member of the Echo Book Club, the Variety Book Club and a member of the Dallas Baptist University Womens Board. She was also a Scottish Rite Volunteer.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Daniel Barry and Leon Johnson Alford.

Survivors: Son, Wayne Paul Barry and wife, Carolyn; daughter, Beverly Ann Haagen and husband, Peter; grandsons, Craig Daniel Barry, Michael Wayne Barry and wife, Kim, James Patrick Barry, Bradley Wayne Haagen, Christopher Lars Haagen; granddaughter, Heather Marie Haagan; sister, Alma Schmidt of Spokane, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
