Frank Guerero Becerra was born March 10, 1932, in Fort Worth. He had been a resident of Fort Worth and Dallas. He was a Catholic. He served in the Army from 1950 to 1953 and was a veteran of the Korean War. He received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.

Survivors: Wife, Martha Becerra of Holly Lake Ranch in Hawkins; sons, Frank Becerra Jr. of Azle and Michael Becerra of Dallas; daughter, Rebecca Jimeniz of Fort Worth; brothers, Santaigo Becerra of Fort Worth, Manuel Becerra of Fort Worth and Raymond Becerra of Mesquite; sisters, Inez Richardson and Rebecca Sales, both of Fort Worth; and three grandchildren.

John Arnold Boles Jr.
BENBROOK -- John Arnold Boles Jr., 80, an insurance underwriter who had been with Commercial Standard Insurance Company of Fort Worth for 38 years, passed away Monday, July 28, 1997, at home.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at West Freeway Church of Christ. Military burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: friends may call at Benbrook Funeral Home on Wednesday, where the family will be present from 6 to 9 in the evening.

John served six years in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. While in the service, he served aboard a PT boat in The Philippines and Borneo. He was said to have served with John F. Kennedy and John Carradine.

He was a longtime member of the Benbrook Church of Christ and most recently West Freeway Church of Christ. John loved his church, his God and his family.

John married Freda Boyd in 1949 and she predeceased him on January 1, 1996.

Survivors: Children, Pat Boles and Billy Boles, both of Benbrook; a host of nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.

Dallas Boston was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Letart, Ohio. He retired from Bell Helicopter after 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Othello Boston, on April 22, 1988.

Survivors: Sons, Lanny Dale Boston of Joshua and Toby Scott Boston of Bedford; daughter, Cindy Ann Lee of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Kristina Lee, Patrick Lee, Jennifer Lee, Steven Lee, David Boston, Daniel Boston, Bryan Boston and Donna Brinley.

Jewell LaVada Wallace Caldwell was born Sept. 29, 1903, in Wise County. She married Whit Caldwell on Dec. 24, 1921, in Wise County. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1989. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Quilting Club, the 42 Club and the Extension Homemakers Club, all in Chico.

Survivors: Sons and daughters-in- law, Charles and Liz Caldwell of Chico and James and June Caldwell of Chico; daughter and son-in-law, Exa and Bill Luckie of Hurst; sister, Nora Malloy of Decatur; eight grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.
