MUENSTER -- Phillip Lynn Rigsby, 45, a produce clerk, died Wednesday, July 30, 1997, near Muenster.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church in Muenster. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Phillip Lynn Rigsby was born June 12, 1952, in Bonham and had lived in Muenster for 10 years. He married Brenda Gail Henson on Dec. 20, 1969. He loved to hunt and fish and loved children.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tisa Renee Rigsby.

Survivors: His wife, Brenda; daughter, Paige Renee Rigsby of Muenster; son and daughter-in-law, Mark C. and Karri Rigsby of Muenster; three grandchildren; his parents, Walter and Jane Rigsby of Mesquite; and sister, Phyllis Taylor of Irving.

Bill Robbins
BYERS -- Bill Robbins, 90, a former Fort Worth hardware store owner, died Wednesday, July 30, 1997, in Henrietta.

Funeral: 4 p.m. Saturday at Chapel of the Chimes in Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Viewing: during the day Friday and Saturday until service time.

Bill Robbins was born Oct. 6, 1906, in Sherman. He was a former longtime Fort Worth resident and had owned Poly Hardware, which is now Ace Poly Hardware and still managed by the Robbins family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Robbins, in May 1991.

Survivors: Sons, Gary L. Robbins and his wife, Dell, of Fort Worth and Pearre C. Robbins of San Diego; brothers, Johney D. Robbins and his wife, Roxy, of Byers and Joe E. Robbins and his wife, Janella, of Fort Worth; and many, many first-, second- and third- generation grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Francisca "Panchita" Rodriguez was born in Lockhart on May 11, 1924.

Survivors: Sons, Raul Trujillo and Raymond Flores; daughters, Juanita Hernandez, Yolanda Diosdado, Mary Jessie Flores, Herminia Garcia, Estella Chavez and Olga Beltran Lodics; 55 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

FORT WORTH -- Willie A. Russell, 83, a retired crane operator for Alcoa Aluminum, died Wednesday, July 23, 1997, at a local hospital.

Willie A. Russell was born July 24, 1913, in Hillsboro.

Ruth Shackelford
JOSHUA -- Ruth Shackelford, 85, a retired schoolteacher, died Tuesday, July 29, 1997, at a local hospital.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Laurel Land Chapel of the Chimes. Burial: Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway, Ark.

Ruth Shackelford was born Jan. 31, 1912, in Conway, Ark. She graduated from Howard Payne University and received a master's degree from Hardin- Simmons University.

Mrs. Shackelford retired from the Fort Worth school district after 35 years as an elementary teacher and special education teacher. She also taught a short time in Dublin, Texas. She was a member of St. Matthew Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Burleson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd R. Shackelford,

Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Jerold Schmidt of Granbury; grandchildren, Michael Schmidt and his wife, Cherri, of Granbury, Eric Schmidt and his wife, Shannon, of Joshua, Jeffrey Schmidt of San Diego, Calif., and Deidre Schmidt of Joshua; and great-grandchildren, Aaron Schmidt, Kara Schmidt, Devin Schmidt and Davis Veazey.

Marvin L. Smith was born Jan. 16, 1925, in Fort Worth. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and was a veteran of World War II. He was a lighting specialist responsible for the exterior lighting of several large buildings in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He was past president of IES (Illuminating Engineers Society).

Survivors: Wife of 24 years, Mildred C. Smith of Haltom City; sons, K. Mike Smith of Haltom City, Stephen Smith and his wife, Pamela, of Fort Worth, and Michael Bourdier and his wife, Judy, of Arlington; daughters, Leslie Dawson and her husband, Frank, of Cedar Hill and Wanda Powell and her husband, Jakey, of Eagle Mountain Lake and Patricia Davidson and her husband, Dan, of Ruidoso, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mary Vashtine Stanley was born Nov. 21, 1931, in Fort Worth.

She was a member of East Meadows Baptist Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her son, Neil Stanley.

Survivors: Daughter, Lynne Singleton of North Richland Hills; grandson, Curtis Henley of Mesquite; granddaughters, Amy Henley and Michelle Henley, both of Mesquite, Lexi Stanley of Japan and Amber Singleton of Fort Worth.

Weldon S. Street
FORT WORTH -- Weldon S. Street, 75, died Wednesday, July 30, 1997, at his residence.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth.

Memorials: American Cancer Society.

Weldon S. Street was born Nov. 29, 1921, in Borden County. He graduated from Texas Technological University and spent four years in the Navy, where he served in the central and western Pacific.

At the conclusion of World War II, he returned to West Texas and began a 40- year career with the Ralston Purina Co. He held management positions at its plants in Lubbock, Amarillo, Oklahoma City, Bloomington, Ill., Jackson, Miss., and Fort Worth.

Mr. Street was preceded in death by his wives, Una, Betty and Cathryn.

Survivors: Son, Allen Street and his wife, Patricia Street, of Marlow, Okla.; daughters, Nancy Greer and her husband, Rudy Greer, of Stillwater, Okla., and Ann Jackson and her husband, William Joe Jackson, of Sugar Land; and seven grandchildren.

Lola Odessa Taggart was born Dec. 15, 1932.

FORT WORTH -- Lloyd Sherman Terry, 66, who retired as a salesman for Larry's Shoes after 25 years of service, died Wednesday, July 30, 1997, in Fort Worth.

Funeral: noon Saturday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Lloyd Sherman Terry was born Aug. 7, 1930, in Meadow Grove, Neb.

He was one of 15 children born to Frank and Anna Terry and has a twin brother, Leonard, of Anchorage, Alaska. He was a 32nd degree Moslah Shriner of Julian Feild Lodge 908 and a member of American Legion Post 0569. He was a sergeant in the Army and served in the Korean War. He had lived in Fort Worth since 1957 and was a Methodist.

Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Brittain, of Goddard, Kan., in September 1996.

Survivors: Wife, Frances Terry of Fort Worth; sons, Gary Headspeth and his wife, Christy, of Arlington and Chris Terry of Fort Worth; daughters, Deanna Terry Shelton and her husband, Larry, of Granbury, Linda Tidwell and her husband, Roger, of Burleson, Mary Hernandez and her husband, Michael, of Crowley and Rebecca Thompson of Carthage; brothers, Fred Terry of Grand Island, Neb., Wendell Terry of York, Neb. and Tim Terry of Columbus, Neb.; sisters, Bernice Hunter of Omaha, Neb., Theola Hunton of Denver, Colo., Margaret Blythe of Lincoln, Neb., Mary Jane Brown of Broomfield, Colo., Hertha Herweg of Fort Worth and Clarabelle Volk of Meadow Grove, Neb., 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Anna Marie Thom was born Feb. 12, 1914, in Donaldsonville, La. She formerly lived in Fort Worth for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Thom, in 1991 and by a grandson, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors: Sons and daughters-in- law, Clifton and Mary Bourg Jr. of Anniston, Ala., Garland and Sue Bourg of Rio Vista, Ray and Kay Thom of Fort Worth and Jerry and Rita Thom of Haltom City; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Johnny Musco of Donaldsonville, La.; 17 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
