Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4712 Ramey. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

Thomas J. Fry was born March 30, 1942, in Hamlin.

Survivors: Wife, Maggie Bailey Fry; sons, Thomas J. Fry II and Keith Fry; daughter, Jessica L. Fry; stepfather, A.M. McGee of Hamlin; brother, Ray Carl McGee of Hamlin; sisters, Mrs. Willie Pearl Hunter of Stamford, Texas, Martha McGee of Hamlin, Kathy McGee of Big Spring, Neomia Rice of Amarillo and Mrs. James Gloria Cork of Midland; two grandchildren; aunt, Isa Jenkins of Hamlin; and nephews and nieces.

Trenell Geiger was born July 9, 1965, in Fort Worth.

Survivors: Son, Joshua Geiger of Fort Worth; daughter, Chasity Geiger of Fort Worth; father, Leon Geiger, and stepmother, Dahlia; brothers, Tony Milton, Rogers Milton and Leon Geiger Jr., all of Fort Worth; grandparents, Leeper and Elnora Geiger of Fort Worth; and uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.

John Griffith
ALVORD - John Kemp Griffith, 58, a petroleum pipeline chief inspector, died Monday, Aug. 4, 1997, at home.

John Kemp Griffith was born Nov. 10, 1938, in Corpus Christi.

He married June Whitaker on June 20, 1957, in Alvord and was a Marine veteran.

Survivors: Wife, June of Alvord; son, Johnny K. Griffith Jr. of Alvord; daughters, Marianne Langford of Nocona and Georgia Headley of Paradise; sister, Jean Taylor of Longview; seven grandsons; and one granddaughter.

FORT WORTH - Jess Harwell, 75, owner of The Jess Harwell & Associate, an aerospace manufacturers' representing company, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997, in Anaheim, Calif.

Jess Harwell was born Aug. 30, 1921, in Dallas. A longtime Fort Worth resident, Mr. Harwell was a member of Ridglea Country Club and SAMPE and was a past president of the Fort Worth Golf Association. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Forces.

Survivors: Wife, Juanita Harwell; son, Jess Harwell III and his wife, Candy, of Fort Worth; stepson, Ric Clifton of New York City; stepdaughter, Stephanie Darch and her husband, Doug, of Fort Worth; and grandchildren, Stacey Cornils and her husband, Scott, and Valerie Harwell, all of Fort Worth.

ARLINGTON - M. Estes Jones, 67, who retired as a Copper Development Association publication editor after 25 years, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997, at a Grand Prairie health care facility.

Graveside service: 11 a.m. Thursday in Annetta Cemetery. Rev. Fred A. Ryle Jr. will officiate.

Estes Jones was born Dec. 25, 1929, in Merkel. He was a longtime resident of New York City, N.Y. He retired in 1992. He was a 1950 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He served in the Army during the Korean War from March 13, 1952, until Feb. 3, 1954.

Gladys Davis Knox
FORT WORTH - Gladys Mae Martin Davis Knox, 85, who retired from the food service division of Castleberry ISD, passed away Moday, Aug. 4, 1997, at a local hospital, due to heart failure.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Gladys Mae Martin Davis Knox was born Dec. 27, 1911, in Stephenville. She had lived in Fort Worth most of her adult life. She married John Loyd Davis and later Charlie D. Knox, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gloyce M. Jones.

Survivors: Daughters, Leola White and Dolores Mayfield and her husband, Terry Mayfield; brother, Raymond Martin; sister, Wanda Campbell; three grandsons; two granddaughters; four great-granddaughters; three great- grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Jimmy E. Lamb
SAGINAW - Jimmy E. "Chop" Lamb, 36, a truck driver, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 1997, as the result of an automobile accident near Eagle Mountain Lake.

Funeral: 3 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home. Burial: Dido Cemetery.

Jimmy E. "Chop" Lamb was born July 3, 1961, in Cherry Point, N.C.

He graduated from Venden High School on Travis AFB in Fairfield, Calif. He had been an area resident since 1979 and resided with his family in Saginaw since 1982. He was a truck driver and had worked for Coca Cola, Domino's Pizza and more recently with Food Lion Grocery. He was an avid enthusiast of car racing, restoration and showing classic automobiles.

He will be deeply missed by all of those who have known him.

Survivors: Wife, Robin Lynn Lamb of Saginaw; daughter, Kristen Nichole Lamb of Saginaw; son, Justin Earl Lamb of Saginaw; parents, Earl and "Susie" Lamb of Saginaw; brother and sister-in- law, Earl N. and Camie Lamb of Saginaw; sister Karen Nadine Lamb of Irving; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Millie Smith of Saginaw; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law.
