CONNIE MARIE CREECY
August 27, 1953 - May 27, 2013
Connie Marie Creecy was born in Kaufman, Texas on August 27, 1953 to Aliga Scott Crecy and Martha Mildred Burks. Connie passed away in a Sunnyvale, Texas hospital on May 27, 2013. Connie was raised in Seagoville and later moved to Pleasant Grove. She had worked for several nursing homes in the area before she was disabled. Connie is survived by her son: Johnny Crecy of Forney, daughters: Candy Gray of Dallas and Sherry Gray of Dallas, twin brother: Ronnie Creecy of Mesquite, sister: Judy Horton of Dallas, ten grandchildren and a great grandson and many other relatives and friends.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Friday May 31, 2013, 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Grove cemetery
VISITATION: Friday May 31, 2013, 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon at Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home

Edwin “Skip” Dickerson
Edwin “Skip” Dickerson was born in Kleburg, on June 14, 1933, to Clifford and Louise Pendley Dickerson. Skip passed away in Kaufman on July 23, 2002.
He was raised in Waco and entered the U S Army during the Korean Conflict. After the service, Skip moved to Dallas and opened a Bail Bond Business. On July 13, 1974, he married Dee Watson in Dallas. In 1976 Skip moved his Bail Bond business to Kaufman. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a member of the Bloomfield Masonic Lodge, where he was Past Master, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite in Dallas and the Shrine. Skip was also a life member of American Legion Post 165.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford; and brothers, Eugene and Jackie.
Skip is survived by his wife: Dee Dickerson of Kaufman; son, Curtis Diedrich of California; daughter, Vicki Valdez of California; mother, Louise Dickerson of Kaufman; stepdaughter, Pam Shaffer of Kaufman; brother, D. E. Dickerson of Kaufman; sister, Pat Wilburn of Kaufman; grandchildren, Cody and Alexandria Diedrich, Daniel and Timothy Valdez and Jennifer Shaffer.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 26, 2002, at 10 a.m. at the Parker-Ashworth Chapel with Rev. Harry Smith officiating with interment in Kaufman cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman. .

Robbie Nell Lennox
A funeral service gathering for Robbie Nell Lennox, age 78, of Kaufman was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at the Anderson Clayton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Kaufman with Rev. Mickey Loftis officiating. Interment followed in the Wilson Chapel cemetery near Kaufman under the direction of Anderson Clayton Brothers Funeral Home of Kaufman.
Robbie was born on Sept. 1, 1923, in Johnstown, Texas, a daughter of the late George W. and Vandorene Roach Wicks and passed away on July 22, 2002, in Kaufman. She was married to Richard Lennox on Aug. 17, l945, in Durant, Okla., and was Baptist by faith. Robbie was a very loving and caring mother, wife and loved her flowers and taking wonderful care of her hummingbirds. She will be deeply missed by her family and all that knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Lennox of Kaufman; daughter, Sandy Swann and her husband Lee of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Keith Bradley and Tressa Hood; great grandchildren, Katelyn and Courtney Bradley and Taylor and Alexander Hood; sisters, Ann Liles and Nina Grant; and a brother, Rayford Wicks; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and family.

Patricia Ann Patton
Patricia Ann Patton was born in Kaufman on Feb. 25, 1942, to Jim Copeland and Dorothy Mathis. Pat passed away at her home in Kaufman on July 27, 2002.
She was raised in the Ola Community and lived in Kaufman County all her life. Pat attended Henderson County Junior College and McLennon County Junior College. She retired in 1995 as the administrator of Italy Convelescent Center. Pat married Kenneth Patton in Canton on July 15, 1961 and she is a lifetime member of the Ola Church of Christ.
Pat is survived by husband, Kenneth Patton of Kaufman; son, Kenneth Max Patton of Gastonia; daughters, Carla Janicek of Kaufman and Lea Ann Persia of Arlington; father, Jim Copeland of Ola; mother, Dorothy LaRoe of Kaufman; brother, Jimmy Copeland of Ola; sister, Wanda Jean Patton of Kaufman; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services were held Monday, July 29, 2002, at 10 a.m. at the Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home with Mike Newby and Rev. D. G. Council officiating. Interment was in Morrow Chapel cemetery in Ola.
Family has requested the memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman. .

James Harvey Williams
James Harvey Williams was born in Kaufman County on April 16, 1915, to James and Ella Hunter Williams. Harvey passed away in Kaufman on July 27, 2002. He was raised in the Jiba Community and then moved to the Whitehall Community and has lived all his life in the Mabank area. On July 25, 1936, he married Thelma Johnson in Mabank. Harvey was a member of the Elm Grove Methodist Church. His wife preceded him in death.
Harvey is survived by his son, Jerry Williams, and his wife Brenda of Mabank; daughter, Dianne Andrews and her husband Gary of Mabank; sister, Dolly Flowers of Richardson; grandchildren, Jason and Scott Andrews, Jeffrey Williams and Shawn Tarkington; great-grandchildren, Erin and Rylie Andrews, Brittany and Brandon Tarkington and Allysa Arana.
Graveside services were held Monday, at 3:30 p.m. at the Elm Grove cemetery in Mabank with Rev. D. G. Council officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman.

Katheryn Evelyn Blakely
Katheryn Evelyn Blakely of Terrell, was born in Antlers, Okla., on April 27, 1940, to Hermit and Elma Bailey Sipes. She passed away at her home in Terrell, Oct. 5, 2002.
Katheryn grew up in Hugo, Okla., and moved to Dallas where she lived for several years before moving to Terrell in 1991. Katheryn married Roland Blakely in 1960.
She is survived by husband, Roland of Terrell; sons, Robin Rose of Scurry and Mike Blakely of Avalon; daughter, Tammy McWhorter of Ferris; brothers, LeRoy Rose of Oklahoma City and Paul Sipes of New Castle; sisters, Betty Wood of Hugo and Alma Slagle of Plano; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jeff, Jesica and Carmen; and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, at 1 p.m. at the Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home Chapel with Janet Detzel officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Olive cemetery in Scurry. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman. .

Helen Ruth Mitchell
Memorial services for Helen Ruth Mitchell, 65, of Kaufman and Murchison were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at First Baptist Church Murchison with Rev. Cliff Cooper officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
Mrs. Mitchell died Sept. 28 in a Dallas Hospital. She was born July 24, 1937, in Canton to the late Wilma Cecil and Oretha O. Kolb Youngblood. She lived in San Diego, Calif., for 20 years, in Kaufman since 1988, and has been sharing time between Kaufman and Murchison homes the past two years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in San Diego, Calif. and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tracy Baird in 1994.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Billy J. Mitchell; sons, Billy J. Mitchell Jr. and his wife Gwen of Mansfield, Anthony C. Mitchell of Kaufman, and Seth M. Mitchell of Minneapolis, Minn.; daughters and son-in-law, Brenda K. and James T. Vickers of Waco, Ginger and Marty Booth of Kaufman, Ramona and James Kelly of Eufala Okla., and Anna and Ian Graham of San Diego, Calif.; brother, William Owen Youngblood of Myrtle Springs; sister, Janie L. Diaz of Kaufman; 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. If desired, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

Lillie Faye Richman
Lillie Faye Richman of Scurry was born in Kaufman County on March 12, 1924, to William and Mary Elizabeth Speed Smith. Lillie passed away in Kaufman on Oct. 7, 2002.
Lillie was raised in Rosser and moved to Scurry after she married Olin Ray Richman in 1945. She was of Catholic faith.
Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Olin Ray. She is survived by her son, Rayford Richman and his wife Diane of Scurry; daughter, Deborah Richman of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; sister, Betty Phillips of Odessa; grandchildren, Roxanne Richman, Zach Thornton, Andres deTorees and Sandra LaFond; five great grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Parker-Ashworth Chapel with Rev. Joseph A. Mehan Jr. officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Olive cemetery in Scurry. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman.

Leberta Pearl Ross
Funeral services for Leberta Pearl Ross, 82, of Kaufman were held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, in the Anderson Clayton Bros. Chapel with Rev. Bobby Pritchett officiating. Interment followed in the Wilson Chapel cemetery under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros. of Kaufman.
Mrs. Ross was born April 13, 1920, in Gracemont, Okla., to the late Charles Edward and Vera (Campbell) Wilson and passed away Nov. 25, 2002, in Kaufman. She lived in Kaufman the past 14 years and was a member of the Grays Prairie Baptist Church. She was married to the late James Ross on June 19, 1938, and he preceded her in death April 20, 1996.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Mallory of Kaufman; son, Jimmy Ross of Plano; son, Jerry Ross and his wife Betty of Boston, and daughter, Phyllis Stark and her husband Tommy of Kaufman; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

Loyd Waldon Wilson
Loyd Waldon Wilson was born in Decatur, Texas, on Nov. 8, 1922, to George and Elizabeth Birdsong Wilson. Loyd passed away in Kaufman on Nov. 30, 2002.
On June 19, 1943, he married Estelle Ballard in Rockwall. Loyd served in the U S Army during World War II. He lived most of his life in Kaufman and was self employed as a welder. Loyd was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Wilson, and a granddaughter, Jessica Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Estelle Wilson of Kaufman; son, Bryan Wilson of Elkhart; daughter, Wanda Brewer of Kaufman; brother, Cecil Wilson of Denison; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the Parker-Ashworth Chapel with Rev. Darren Harvey officiating. Interment followed in Wilson Chapel cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman.
