Mrs. Gregory

Deborah Lynn Gregory 48 passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital Nov. 10, 2002. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Gregory was born January 26, 1954 at Lubbock, Texas, the daughter of Buddy Don and Lela Mae Price Ledford.
She was married to Charles W. Gregory on November 5, 1977 at Jonesboro. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Her home was the gathering place for her children, friends and family where they were always welcome. She has served as medication aid at Hamilton Nursing as long as her health would permit. She is a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of Dublin; two children, Mathew Scott Stone and his wife Andrea of Proctor and Melissa Gayle Coleman and her husband Jerry of Ypsilanti, Michigan; her father, Buddy Don Ledford of Manilla, AR.; her mother, Lela Hanks and step-father Clifton of Proctor; her step-father Aaron Ralph Gilstrap of Broken Bow, Okla.; six grandchildren, Brenden, Natalie and Dylan Stone and Chris, Tyler and Breanna Coleman; a sister Pamela Slone and her husband Bobby of Hamilton; two brothers Donald Ray Gilstrap of Brownwood and Aaron Clyde Gilstrap of Austin also survive.
Pallbearers will be Melvin Burrows, Chris Sharp, Cody Moore, Bobby Pafford, Sammy Gregory and Jason Dennis.

Mr. Angermann
Kennard Angermann 72, of Hamilton died Nov. 12 at the Hamilton Nursing Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Nov. 15 at Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Wesley Jones officiating.
Mr. Angermann was born June 1, 1930 at Hamilton, Texas the son of Robert and Donnie Fisher Angermann. He attended school at Aleman and Hamilton and was a life long resident of Hamilton were he worked as a cook in a number of cafes.
One brother Eugene Angermann of Stephenville, Texas survives him.

Mrs. Moody

Sarah Jane Moody, 56, died at Temple Tuesday January 7, 2003. Graveside services were held Jan. 10 at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton with Pastor Joe R. Smith officiating.
Mrs. Moody was born in Dallas, Texas June 17, 1946 the daughter of Frank Arthur and Dellerphine Marie Bradshaw Ward.
She was a cook, working food services at nursing home as long as her health permitted. She was a member of the Alive in Christ Fellowship Church in Hamilton.
Survivors include her two sons, Donald Scroggins and David Coffelt both of Hamilton; seven grandchildren; one sister Sharron Marion of Rowlett, two half sisters Pat Bailey of Garland and Beverly Adams of Dallas.
Her parents and one brother Frank Arthur Ward Jr. precede her in death.

Mr. Montgomery

Thomas Dale Montgomery 18, died June 5, 2003. Funeral services for will be held June 13 at 10 a.m. with full military honors at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Gentry’s Mill Cemetery.
Thomas was a young man affectionately known by many names. T. J., Wink, Joe, Jam, Little T., and Bubba being the most common.
He was born on June 13, 1984 at Hamilton, the son of Mary Ann Musick and John Paul Gilliam III. He grew up in Hamilton and later graduated from Belton High School in 2002.
Mr. Montgomery joined the Navy right after high school. He proudly fought the war against Iraq, and served on the aircraft carrier USS Constellation in the Persian Gulf. While serving on the Constellation, he visited Australia and Hawaii.
He was an honorable young man whose goal in life was to make his family proud. He accomplished his goal. He really enjoyed life. He loved water skiing and motor cross. Thomas had many adventures along his journey in life; learning to drive in Hamilton with his dad, learning to fish with his Papa, giving his granny rides on his dirt bike, setting an example for his sister and friends and making his mama proud by his accomplishments. He was most well known for his heart of gold. He was never too busy for family or a friend in need. He could be counted on to be there whenever he was needed. He is remembered as our sailor with the exceptional heart.
Survivors include his mother, Mary An Musick of Belton; his father, John Paul Gilliam III of Belton; his sister Brandi Marie Montgomery of Belton; his half-brother, John Paul Gilliam IV; his grandparents, Dale and Elmola Musick of DeLeon and Thomas and Jean Montgomery of New Caste, Pa.

Mrs. Taylor

Harriet Inez Taylor, 86, died at Hamilton on Tuesday July 15, 2003. Funeral services were held Friday at the First Baptist Church in Hamilton with Rev. Mathew Gilmore and Rev. Doyle Combs officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
Mrs. Taylor was born November 13, 1916 in the Ater community of Coryell County, the daughter of Williams Thomas Parson and Martha Ensley Parson.
She was married to Thomas (Tom) Dalton Taylor on September 29, 1935 at Hamilton. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1975.
Mrs. Taylor retired from the Hamilton Independent School District with twenty years of service. She was past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star where she was a fifty-year plus member and a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include three children, Kenneth Taylor and his wife Stella, Martha Massingill and Rita Rogers all of Hamilton; seven grandchildren, Bill Taylor, Darla Cole, John Mark Taylor, Tommie Necessary, Scotty Massingill, Crystal Washko and Paula Buster; 15 great-grandchildren Stephanie Taylor, David Taylor, Michael Taylor, Jennifer Cole, Jessica Taylor, Jeremiah Taylor, Jade Taylor, Bryan Necessary, Miranda Necessary, Faith Leah Massingill, Kristen Paige Massingill, Dillan Washko, Cole Wright, Blake Wright and J.C. Buster and by a number of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Tiffany Cole; four brothers and four sisters.
Pallbearers were Bill Taylor, Scotty Massingill, Mark Massingill, Keith Necessary, Mike Cole, Bryan Washko, Bryan Necessary, Cole Wright and Blake Wright.

Mrs. Pruett

Wanda Dean Pruett, 76, of Bertram died July 13, 2003 at San Antonio. Graveside services were held July 16 at Hurst Ranch Cemetery at Star with her husband Arlon reading the eulogy.
Mrs. Pruett was born November 18, 1926 at Littlefield, Texas to the union of Elbert Ralph Henry and Elsie Lilly Gummelt Henry.
She was a homemaker, a devoted wife to her husband of 32 years.
Survivors include her husband Arlon Pruett of Bertram, one sister Arvonia Brown and her husband T.L. Brown of White Settlement, Texas and by a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers Frank Ellet, Steve Mrazek, Richard Cearley, James Cook, Truman Brown and Michael Smith.

Mr. Chirasello

John James Chirasello, 93, died July 18, 2003 at Hamilton. Graveside funeral services were held July 21 at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton with Father Hilario Guajardo officiating.
He was born December 12, 1909 at Thornwood, New York. He was a retired heavy equipment operator working for the Dutch Rock Quarry prior to his retirement.
In 1932 he was married to Eleanor Hazel Peterson at Bruster, New York. She preceded him in death on April 8, 1987.
Survivors include a daughter, Arlene Anderson and her husband John of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Bruce Benham of Stanford, NY, and Melanie Benham of Hyde Park, NY; two great- grandchildren, Travis and Hannah Benham of Stanford, NY; one sister, Helen Price of Beacon, NY and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
His parents and six brothers precede him in death.
Pallbearers were Hayden Havens, Fred Cox, Steve Allen, Chris Allen, Jim Townsend and Sonny Stephens. Honorary pallbearer was John Leeth.

Mrs. Smith

Zora Pauline (Paula) Smith, 30, of Hamilton died July 20, 2003. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery.
She was born August 4, 1972 at Abilene, the daughter of Charles Edward Smith Jr. and Patricia Williams Smith. She was a devoted mother and companion. She was a Certified Nursing Aid working in the care of the elderly.
Her companion James Headley of Hamilton, children David Edward Smith, Tiffany Foster, Brandon Wayne Smith, step-children Tiffani Headley and Brad Headley all of Hamilton survive. She is also survived by her father, Charles Edward Smith; her mother Patricia Williams of Hamilton; maternal grandfather, J.L. Williams; maternal great-grandmother Eunice A. Williams; a sister, Patricia Busch of Junction; two brothers, Charles Edward Smith of Waco and Wilton Richard Smith of Hamilton and by a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Mr. Higginbotham

John Lewis (J. L.) Higginbotham Jr., 69, died in Mullin June 15, 2004. Funeral services were held June 18 in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Schibler officiating. Burial followed in Sardis Cemetery at Hasse in Comanche County.
Mr. Higginbotham was born September 14, 1934 in Comanche County, the son of the late John Lewis Higginbotham Sr. and Inice Kirby Higginbotham.
He was a carpenter by trade and left his mark in Dallas and the surrounding area. He lived a full life with his family and friends. He loved to laugh and drink with his friends and was a hard worker.
He moved to Hamilton nine years ago to help his sister and share their company. He loved country music, fishing with his buddies and playing with his dog.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Olene Lopez, Jean Fabianke and Geneva Randall.
Survivors include his daughter, Darlene Raven and husband Craig; a son, Jay Lewis (J.L.) Higginbotham, all of Richardson; three grandchildren, Lee Michael Higginbotham, Jessica Higginbotham Rodriguez and Tess Elizabeth Raven and one niece Joyce Faye Webb of Hamilton.
Pallbearers were Craig Raven, Jay Higginbotham, Lee Higginbotham, Rodney Brown, Paul Ammaro and Carl Drescher.

Mrs. Schneider

Mary Anna Wilson Schneider, 76, died June 15, 2004 in Fort Worth. Funeral services were held Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Aleman with Pastor Russell Nebhut officiating. Burial followed in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.
She was born November 15, 1927 in Stephens County, the daughter of Harrison Ellsworth Wilson and Anna McFall Cochrane Wilson.
She was married to Bruno Oswald Schneider at Cisco on March 22, 1958. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1988.
Mrs. Schnieder was a devoted and loving wife, aunt and friend. She had a great joy of life, helping others, traveling and visiting with her many friends. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Anna Wilson; two sisters, Patty Wilson and Kathryn W. Kerwood and a brother, H. Ray Wilson.
Survivors include a niece, Ann M. Garner and husband Warren and their children; a nephew Jimmie Lee Maxwell Jr. and his wife Geraldine of Fort Worth; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Charles Hayes, Michael Burnett, Jay McDaniels, Gary Boelter, Scott Burnett and Steve Schneider.
