William E. Becker passed away April 9. He moved to El Paso in 1959 and began a Muzak franchise. Among the boards he served on were the El Paso Rehabilitation Center, YMCA, Cancer Treatment Center, Goodwill Industries, the El Paso Symphony Orchestra Association, the Sun Carnival Association, the Vestry of St. Clement's Episcopal Church, Kiwanis and Los Caballeros Club. He is survived by his widow, Olive Horne Becker, his children — Kay and Jim Harvey, Jed and Kay Becker and Kyle and Tres Hendrix — and five grandchildren. A memorial service took place April 21 at St. Martins Episcopal Church in Houston and there will be a memorial at 4 p.m. April 28 at St. Clement’s Episcopal Church in El Paso. Anthony Vincent De Carlo, 83, passed away April 11. After serving as a major in the U.S. Army, he worked for the U.S. civil service in many foreign countries, but made El Paso his home for 30 years. A graduate of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory (of Music) in Rome as a concert pianist, he was an ardent supporter of musical organizations, including the El Paso Symphony Orchestra, El Paso Opera, El Paso Pro-Musica and the Bruce Nehring Consort. He shared his comprehensive knowledge and collection of recordings and booksmost generously with local musicians and friends. He is survived by his children — Christopher and Nicholas de Carlo — and two grandchildren — Leonardo and Dominic de Carlo. Interment was April 16 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.

Maj. Edward F. Mosely, US Army (Ret.), 86, passed away April 10. He retired after 20 years of service and was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War from which he received the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three Bronze Service Stars and the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars. He is survived by son Robert John Moseley, daughter Kathleen Justice, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Interment was April 16 at at Fort. Bliss National with military honors.
