JESSICA ELAINE BEDDINGFIELD
Funeral services for Jessica Elaine Beddingfield, 30, will be held Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, in the church of Christ in Sunray. Shawn Davis, former minister of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Brown Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Beddingfield died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, in Amarillo.
Born April 9, 1977, in Hereford, she graduated from Blue Ridge High School in Blue Ridge, S. C., with the class of 1995. On Dec. 21, 1996, she married Josh Beddingfield. She received her associate degree in nursing from Amarillo College in 2004. She was a member of the church of Christ and had been a resident of Sunray for nine years.
There will be a family visitation from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, in Morrison Memorial Chapel in Dumas.
The family has suggested memorials be made to High Plains Children’s Home, P. O. Box 7448, Amarillo, Texas 79114.
Survivors include her husband, Josh; daughters, Katie and Abby Grace of the home; her mother, Cecelia and her husband, John Hays of Dumas; her father, Kim and his wife, Jinnee Parr of Friona; sisters, Annie and Casey Kimbrell of Sunray, Sarah and Ian McIntyre of Anderson, S. C., Laura and Shelby Cook of Sunray, Selenda Hays of Dumas, and Emily Fager of Friona; brothers, Coleman and Becky Hays and Sam and Allison Hays, all of Dumas.
Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas is in charge of funeral arrangements.

JANET BECK
Funeral services for Janet Beck, 86, will be held Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, in the First United Methodist Church in Dumas. Minister Bart Scott will officiate. Interment will be in Northlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Beck died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, in Dumas.
Born Dec. 28, 1921, in Plainview to Clarence and Hazel (Swallow) Green, she was valedictorian of Plainview High school in 1940.
On June 12, 1948, she married Earl Beck. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Women and she also sang in the choir for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Lea Sizemore.
The family has requested memorials be made to the scholarship fund at the First United Methodist Church in Dumas or Memorial Hospice, 224 E. 2nd, Dumas, Texas 79029.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Beck; a son, Charles Beck of Dumas; a daughter, Vicki and Danny Martin of Abilene; a sister, Clarice Alley of Plainview; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas is in charge of funeral arrangements.

CHLOE DAWN ROGERS
Funeral services for Chloe Dawn Rogers, 5, were held Friday, in Cornerstone Church of Amarillo. Frank Gordoa, pastor of Cornerstone Church in Dumas officiated. He was assisted by Jim Loper, pastor of Cornerstone Church of Amarillo. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo.
The child died April 9, 2008.
Born July 12, 2002, in Liberal, Kan., she was in kindergarten at Gene Howe Elementary School. She and her family moved to Amarillo in November 2007. She was a special gift from God. Her contagious smiles and laughter melted the hearts of those around her.
The family has requested memorials be made to Northwest Texas Children’s Hospital, 1501 South Coulter, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
Survivors include her mother, Cindy Rogers of Amarillo; her father, Norman Rogers of Elkhart, Kan.; three brothers, T. J. and Jessica Rogers of Perryton, Thomas Napp of Dumas and Colton Rogers of Elkhart; a sister, Erin Napp of Dumas; her grandparents, Bill and Louise Rogers of Elkhart and Jim and Marilyn Walker of Dumas; two aunts; a cousin and a niece.
Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home of Amarillo was in charge of funeral arrangements.

ADA O’KELLEY
Ada O’Kelley, 89, died March 15, 2008.
She and her husband, Willis O’Kelley, had a sporting goods business in Dumas in the 1960s and 1970s.
She was born to William Leslie and Elizabeth Sweeney on Oct. 17, 1918, in Gravelswitch, Ky.
She was born again at an early age by her faith in the sinless Jesus who died on the cross of Calvary and is now our risen Saviour.
Her husband preceded her in death and she will rest at his side in Quinton, Okla.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Michael O’Kelley of McKinney; two siblings, Dolores Friesner of Temple and George Sweeney of Blue Springs, Mo.

LILLIAN MATTOCKS
Funeral services for Lillian Mattocks, 89, formerly of Dumas, were held Friday, April 11, 2008, in Arden Road Baptist Church. The Rev. Dale Bigham, pastor, officiated. Graveside services were held in Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Dumas. The Rev. Ludwig Indoko, associate pastor of River of Life Fellowship officiated.
Mrs. Mattock died April 9, 2008, in Amarillo.
She was born Jan. 10, 1919, in Canton, Penn., to Allen and Ethel Sweeney. On Jan. 30, 1937, she married Ed Mattocks in East Troy, Penn. She was a homemaker and loved to play the piano and study her Bible. She had been a resident of Dumas since 1967 before moving to Amarillo and was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Dumas.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Sweeney; a sister, Evelyn Strock; a grandson, Johnathan David Mattocks and a great-grandchild.
Survivors include her husband, Ed, of the home; daughters, Lois Smith of Tulsa, Okla., Marilyn Nichols of Howardwick and Judy and Ed Guerra of Amarillo; sons, Elwin Mattocks of Callahan, Fla., the Rev. Lloyd and Myrlea Mattocks of Meta, Mo.; Boyd and Trixie Mattocks of Clinton, N. C.; the Rev. David and Marguerite Mattocks of Port Huron, Mich; 31 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

JUANITA WHITLEY HARVEY
Funeral services for Juanita Whitley Harvey, 76, will be held Monday, May 12, 2008, at 10 a.m. in the Temple Baptist Church. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens of Dumas.
Mrs. Harvey died Thursday, May 8, 2008.
Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas is in charge of funeral arrangements.

BEATRICE MCCLOY
Funeral services for Beatrice McCloy, 82, of Sunray, will be held Monday, May 12, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Morse. Mrs. McCloy died May 8, 2008.
Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery.
Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas is in charge of funeral arrangements.

MARK SCOTT
Mark Scott, 50, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009. Schooler Funeral Home of Amarillo was in charge of funeral arrangements.

ROSIBELL CUNNINGHAM
Rosibell Cunningham, 92, of Stratford, passed away. Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas is in charge of funeral arrangements.

MARY BAKER TRAMMELL, age 64 of Coleman, died Sunday (December 31, 2000) at Coleman County Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (January 3, 2001) at Concho Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Scheffield officiating, assisted by Rev. Steve Holcomb. Burial will follow in the Coleman Cemetery, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Mrs. Trammell was born September 25, 1936 in Burkett, Texas, a daughter of James A. Baker, Sr. and Lilly Cason Baker. She was raised and attended schools in Burkett and Coleman. On June 16, 1953, she married James L. Trammell, Jr. in Coleman. She retired from Lubbock National Bank after 41 years in the banking industry, as a Loan Officer and as Vice-President. While living in Lubbock, she was an instructor for American Institute of Banking in Lubbock, member of the West Texas Homebuilders Auxillary Association, President South Plains Republican Club, President of the Legal Aid Society, Board Member of the Y.W.C.A., a loaned executive for the United Way, and a member of Concho Baptist Church in Coleman.

Survivors include her husband, James L. Trammell, Jr. of Coleman; one son and daughter-in-law, James L. (Jay) and Terry Trammell, III of Singapore; one daughter and son-in-law, Marci and Kenny Owens of Plainview, Texas; five sisters, Essie Hunter, Thelma Cox, Madie Burton, Ovella Harris all of Coleman and Ronnie Winslett of Brownwood; seven brothers, Jerry Baker of Odessa, J.C. Baker of Lovington, New Mexico, Tony Baker of Vernon, Texas, Howard Baker of Coleman, Texas, James Baker, Bob Baker and Ed Baker all of Brownwood, Texas; Mother-in-law, Ruby Trammell of Coleman; six grandchildren, Jason Gower of Lubbock, Jared and Jonathan Gower of Plainview, Stephanie Boyd of Amarillo, Lauren and Marci Ann Trammell of Singapore and many neices and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday (January 2, 2000) at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be the Deacons from Concho Baptist Church: Fred Knowles, Mike Calk, Travis Sanders, Billy McCorkle, Tommy Connelly, and Grady Boyd.

Memorial donations may be made to to the Parkinsons Association of Lubbock, 4102 24th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79408.

DALE WISENER, age 69, of Coleman died Saturday, December 23, 2000 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at White Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Moore officiating. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Mr. Wisener was born February 5, 1931 in Coleman, Texas and was a son of Richard Parmly Wisener and Essie Lee Davis Wisener. He grew up in Coleman and attended school here. On March 15, 1957 he married Sara Jean Clark in Lovington, New Mexico and she preceded him in death on May 25, 1980. He served in the U. S. Navy. He was Baptist.

Survivors include one son, Darwin D. Wisener and wife Jeanne of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Richard Wisener of Coleman and Wayne Wisener of Zephyr; two sisters, Leona Wilson and Nita Hubbard both of Coleman; five grandchildren, Payton Clark Wisener, Sara Jeanne Wisener and Sequoyah Coats all of Houston, Jessica Hunter and Joshua Hunter both of Coleman.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Wisener Coats on January 19, 1995.

Memorials may be made to the Loaves & Fishes, c/o Coleman Ministerial Association, P. O. Box 983, Coleman, Texas 76834.
