Dail McCord
Rialto, Calif. - Dail McCord, 64, of Rialto, Calif., died Sunday Dec. 3, 2000, in California.
She was born Aug. 11, 1936, in Renner, to Theodore "Dred" and Alice Boenker. She was married to Ray McCord. Mr. McCord passed away June 18, 1997.
Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, at Furneaux Cemetery, Carrollton.
Survivors include her sons, Gary McCord of Lake Elsinore, Calif. and Jerry, Richard and Dale McCord, all of Rialto, Calif.; her mother of Denton; her sister, Gail Allen of Port Bolivar; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Myrtie Armstrong
Myrtie A. Armstrong, 75, of Denton, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at her home. She was born June 4, 1925, near Big Sandy, Texas to G.E. "Ed" & Sidney Fry Bishop Strange.
She married Albert Armstrong on May 27, 1946, in Graham, Texas. He preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1982.
She was retired from Victor Equipment, after retirement she worked as a sitter at the Denton Good Samaritan Village.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with the Rev. N.W. Lowrie officiating. Burial will follow in the Bolivar Cemetery, west of Sanger in Denton County.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Armstrong Lawson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; her son, Earl W. Armstrong of Denton; her sister, Mrs. Birdie Patterson of Keller; her two granddaughters, Terissa Crisp of Roanoke and Marilyn Crisp of Denton; and numerous "adopted" grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Robbie Fischer
Pilot Point - Robbie June Fischer, 69, of Pilot Point, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2000, at Denton Community Hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Saturday, Dec. 9, in the chapel of Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point. Toby Osburn will officiate. Burial will be in Pilot Point Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Benny Fischer, Michael Fischer, Marshal Fischer, Jerry Fischer and Randy Fischer.
She was born Sept. 16, 1931, in Lamar County, Texas, to Isaac Newton and Bonnie Berdine Muncy Chandler. She married Benny J. Fischer on Sept. 24, 1949, in Pilot Point.
Mrs. Fischer was a retired tester at Victor Equipment.
Survivors include her husband, Benny Fischer of Pilot Point; three sons, Michael Fischer of Sanger, Mitchell Fischer of Pilot Point and Marshall Fischer of Irving; one daughter, Marlane Hine of Denton; two grandchildren, Chelsie Fischer and Lindsey Fischer; and one brother, Newt Chandler of Denison.
John Speer
John Hill Speer, 86, of Denton died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Cottonwood Manor in Denton.
He was born June 4, 1914, in Miami, Okla., to John Losson Speer and Sara Esther Hill Speer. He married Kathryn Abernathy in Denton on June 4, 1982.
Mr. Speer was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, with a master's degree in geology and petroleum engineering. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by Noble Oil Company in Ardmore, Okla., and later taught geology at the University of Oklahoma and East Texas State University.
He attended First United Methodist Church in Denton.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. The Rev. William C. Crouch will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
Survivors include his wife of Denton; and three stepchildren, Lewis McLaurine Abernathy Jr., Marifrances Abernathy, and Matthew Rodgers Abernathy.

Connie Galindo
Connie Galindo, 64, of Denton died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at Denton Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 8, 1936, in Coleman. She married Willie Galindo on May 20, 1951 in Coleman. He died Feb. 6, 1988
Ms. Galindo was a homemaker.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at Immaculate Conception Church with Deacon Popo Gonzales and the Rev.Tim Baca officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today, Feb. 4, 2001, at Schmitz-Floyd-Anderson Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, Robert Galindo of Irving; eight daughters, Liza Baca of Sherman, Sylvia Butler of Denton, Diane Carter of Denton, Patti French of Sherman, Gina Nack of Denton, Janet Richards of Denton, Bernie Richardson of Sanger, and Kaye Unclebach of Sherman; a brother, Antonio Perez of Vernon; three sisters, Tomasa Alvarado of Odessa, Maria Garza of Lansing, Mich., and Saprano Garza of Vernon; 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Leslie Miller
Leslie Miller, 92, of Denton, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001.
She was born Jan 19, 1909, in Itasca, to Mable L. Anderson and John Waldon.
She was a member of Saint Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at Saint Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. L.A. Pullam officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight, Feb. 4, at Peoples Funeral Home.
She is survived by one grandson and one great-grandson.
Addison Cutter
The Rev. Addison W. Cutter, retired Methodist minister, died Feb. 20, 2001, at Lake Forest Good Samaritan Health Care Center at the age of 93. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Louise Garrett, in 1994. The Rev. Cutter was the first student to graduate from the newly endowed Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in 1945, having received his Bachelor of Arts degree from SMU in 1943. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy as a chaplain during the latter part of World War II. Upon discharge from the Navy, he was the pastor of churches in Wilson, Waurika and Stigler, Okla. He and Louise returned to the North Texas Conference, where he organized Northhaven Methodist Church in Dallas and served at Lake Highlands Methodist Church, Dallas, and later at Iowa Park Methodist Church in Iowa Park, Texas. During the latter part of his active ministry, the Rev. Cutter was chaplain for Goodwill Industries.
Blessed with a beautiful baritone voice, the Rev. Cutter was a member of the choir of Highland Park United Methodist Church and was a frequent soloist in various churches throughout the Dallas area.
The Rev. Cutter was a loyal supporter of SMU and an active member of the Mustang Club until poor health sidelined him in 1997. He and Louise endowed athletic scholarships in 1979.
The Rev. Cutter is survived by his daughter, Madolyn J. Cutter of Lake Dallas; his cousin, Dr. Richard Cutter of Waco; and two nieces, Evonne Moore of Canadian and Barbara Walls of Grand Junction, Colo.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors in Perryton with interment in Ochiltree County Cemetery, outside of Perryton.

Frances Decker
Tyler - Frances Decker, 82, of Tyler died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001.
She was born March 4, 1918, in Kane, Pa., to Edgar and Winnie Woodard. In 1927, she married Glen Decker in Pennsylvania. He died in 1978.
Mrs. Decker was a homemaker.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today, Feb. 5, at Jackson Cemetery in Krum. The Rev. Carl Lambert will officiate. Goen-Hudgens Funeral Home of Denton is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, David Decker of Krum and Howard Decker of Forestville, Pa.; one brother, Stub Woodard of Spring Creek, Pa.; one sister, Clara Lillie of Phoenix, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Lottie Kersey
Lottie Kersey, 94, of Denton died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, in Denton.
She was born June 4, 1906, in Woodbine, Kan. Mrs. Kersey was a 20-year resident of Heritage Oaks of Denton.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, in Greenwood Garden Chapel in Fort Worth. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Greenwood Funeral Home of Fort Worth is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Gary Carter, Robert Robinson Jr., Ernest Robinson, Jeff Collie, Leonard Schilling Jr. and Steven Schilling.
Survivors include three daughters, Joan Owen of Denton, Loretta "Mickie" Robinson of Fort Worth and Darlene Carter of Euless; one son, Virgil Kersey of Hemet, Calif.; one brother, Norman Kahle; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Grace Luttrell
Decatur - Grace C. Luttrell, 70, of Decatur died on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at her home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1930, in Opp, Ala. She married James E. Luttrell on Jan. 28, 1956, in Collins, Miss.
Mrs. Luttrell was retired as a cook for Sunnyhills Nursing Center in Decatur.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Decatur.
Service will be at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 5, in the chapel of Coker Funeral Home in Decatur. Jerry Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Pallbearers will be John Benedict, Bobby Braddish, Robert Gage, Biff Hayes, Rowdy Lisby and Brett Shannon.
Survivors include her husband of Decatur; her father, W.F. Cawthon of Opp, Ala.; two sons, Winford Hammonds and Jimmy D. Leslie Miller
Leslie Miller, 92, of Denton died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001.

Ina Grace Smith, 92, of Denton died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at Denton Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 11, 1908, in Parks, Ark., to Harvey and Oma Leotha Krump Blair. She married Thomas Smith in July 1925 in Waldron, Ark. He died Sept. 26, 1972.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Denton. The Rev. John Rasberry will officiate. Goen-Hudgens Funeral Home of Denton is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Freeda Beck and Irma Testerman, both of Denton; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Seth Watson
Seth Steve Watson, 81, of Denton died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at Denton Community Hospital.
He was born April 2, 1919, in Wise County to Steve Henry and Cora (McDaniel) Watson. He married Frances Herndon on Dec. 5, 1942, in Austin. She died Dec. 25, 1994.
Mr. Watson attended public schools and the University of North Texas. He was retired after owning and operating Seth's Drive Inn Grocery. He served in the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps in World War II and the Korean War.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at the Welch Street Church of Christ. Terry Collins will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight, Feb. 5, at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home in Denton.
