Jeff Villines
Corinth - Jeff K. Villines, 57, of Corinth died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
He was born Jan. 6, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Jefferson Kenneth and Eloise Galyen) Villines. He was a 1961 graduate of Ardmore (Okla.) High School, attended the University of Oklahoma, and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, with a degree in marketing. On June 2, 1996, he married Karen Whitaker in Dallas.
Mr. Villines was an independent oil and gas producer.
He was Methodist.
A service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home in Denton. The Rev. Larry Bassett will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 14, at Memorial Park in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Survivors include his wife of Corinth; two daughters, Devrie Peoples of Norman, Okla., and Demrie Henry of Dallas; two step-daughters, Amy Schmidt of Grapevine and Alyson Patton of Plano; one son, J.K. Villines of Dallas; one step-son, John Paul Whitaker of Dallas; one sister, Sandra Albright of Monkey Island, Okla.; and three grandchildren.
Jack K. Wilson
Lakewood Village - Jack Kendall Wilson, 65, of Lakewood Village died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Denton Community Hospital.
He was born Aug. 4, 1935, in Independence, Mo., to Jack R. and Clara Wilson. On Aug. 30, 1957, he married Barbara McBerry in Memphis, Tenn.
Mr. Wilson served in the U.S. Army for 10 years. He was a self-employed computer consultant.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of Lakewood Village; one daughter, Laura England of Dallas; one son, Mark Wilson of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one granddaughter.
Joseph M. Wilson II
Gainesville - Lt. Cmdr. Joseph M. Wilson II (U.S. Navy retired), 81, of Valley View died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Gainesville Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 15, 1920, in Gainesville. On April 3, 1946, he married Glessie Mae Coin in Pilot Point.
Lt. Cmdr. Wilson was a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, from 1943 to 1973. He served in the South Pacific during World War II and in the Seabees during the Korean and Vietnam wars. During his career he had been stationed in Australia, Okinawa, Japan, Hawaii, the Philippines, Alaska, Guam and the United States. He was awarded more than 18 medals and commendations, including the Meritorious Service Medal as director of the Western Pacific Branch, U.S. Naval Construction Battalion Center, Guam. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled Veterans.
He was a member of Valley View United Methodist Church.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, in the chapel of Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of Valley View; two sons, Joseph Wilson III of Portales, N.M., and Mike Wilson of Valley View; one brother, Charles Wilson of Dallas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Glenn D. McClain
Krum - A graveside service for Glenn Dean McClain, 64, of Krum, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2001, in Avery Cemetery in Avery. The Rev. Ronald N. Ivey will officiate under the direction of Hilliard Funeral Home of Van.
Employees of Andrew Corporation will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. McClain died June 10, 2001, at a Fort Worth hospital. He was born June 12, 1936 in Marvel, Ark., to Vernon and Rosa Lee Alice Davis McClain. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was employed by the Andrew Corporation in Denton.
He was Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta McClain of Krum; one son, Glenn R. McClain of Krum; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Blake Sanders of Chandler; two brothers, O.V. McClain of Little Rock, Ark., and Joe McClain of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one sister, Floy Phillips of Pine Bluff, Ark.; four grandchildren, Kevyn and Ian Sanders of Chandler, and Alana and Krista McClain of Krum; two stepgrandchildren, Brandi and Jessica Thomas of Denton; eight nephews; and six nieces. His parents, two brothers, Benny McClain and James T. McClain, and two sisters, Rosa L. Carroll and Joyce F. Strawn, are deceased.
Meddie W. Mackey
Gulfport, Miss. - Meddie W. Mackey, 87, of Gulfport, Miss., died Saturday, June 2, 2001, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Mackey was a native of Louisiana and a Gulf Coast resident for 22 years. She attended Nursing School in Vicksburg and worked for Dr. Ira and Herd Gaddy and Dr. Richard Colson. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Long Beach and the First Baptist Church of Denton, Texas, where she taught Sunday School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Joseph B. Mackey, and a son, Mike Mackey.
Survivors include a son, Jim Mackey and his wife, Marycarl of Denton, Texas; a daughter, Mickey Lambert and her husband, Billy of Gulfport, Miss.; grandchildren, Jayne Conley of Biloxi, Miss., Judy Smith of Long Beach, Miss., Jennifer Bennett of Gulfport, Miss., Carla Genuchi of Houston, Texas, Jeff Mackey of Denton, Texas, Susan Evans of Boise, Idaho, and Kevin Mackey of Castle Rock, Colo.; and two sisters, Opal Hindman of Louisiana and Thelma Kimball of Maryland.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Riemann Funeral Home, 1718 25th Avenue, Gulport, Miss., is in charge of arrangements.
Oma Ann Neace
Oma Ann Neace, 78, of Denton, who had a Heart of Gold, died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Denton Community Hospital.
Mrs. Neace was born Sept. 3, 1922, in Buffalo Springs, Texas, to Willie Thomas and Lucy Elizabeth (Giles) Markham. She married the Rev. Oran Glenn Neace on May 27, 1944, in Keller, Texas (he died Jan. 10, 2000). She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at Full Gospel Church with the Rev. Bill Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Justin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Fron, Wilbern Neace Jr., Little Bud Bowles, Jessie Neace, Brent John and Donald Bowles. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Neace and Brent John.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Laverne Ann and Butch Fron of Denton, Glenda Paulette and Harley Bowles of Ponder; sons and daughters-in-law, Wilbern Glenn and Jean Neace of Denton, Archie Lee and Belinda Neace of Denton; sisters, Ona Kennemer of Denton and Almena Carpenter of Houston; brothers, Billy Markham of Burleson and Roy Markham of California; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Little Elm - Lillian Ruth Pecora Kennemer, 67, of Little Elm died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at Denton Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 19, 1934, in Frisco.

Lewisville - Sean Berry King, 25, of Lewisville died Friday, June 8, 2001.
He was born Oct. 25, 1975 in Sherman.
The service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Lewisville. The Rev. Ricky Masters will officiate. Burial will be in Flower Mound Cemetery.
The family will be at Macedonia Baptist Church from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, for visitation.
Survivors include his parents, Dianna B. and Ivan J. King, both of Lewisville; one brother, Ivan J. King III of Lewisville; one sister, Cyndi Sero King of Lewisville; and his grandmother, Lorene Berry of Mount Pleasant.

Krum - Charles Mack Warfield, 65, of Krum died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at his residence.

Jesse Yates
Jesse A. Yates, 83, of Denton died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at the Longmeadow Care Center in Justin.
He was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Bryan County, Okla., to Red Yates and Gladys Griffin Yates. On Nov. 18, 1950, he married Johnnie Ruth Witherspoon.
Mr. Yates attended Blue High School east of Durant, Okla. He was employed by North Texas State University (now UNT) from 1971 to 1985 where he was the golf course superintendent. At retirement he was turf manager.
The service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. The graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. the same day in Highland Cemetery in Durant, Okla.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 14, for visitation.
Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Yates of Denton; two sons, Jerry and Justin Yates of Denton; two sisters, Betty Henkes of Humble, and Mary Ellen Randolf of Mount Pleasant; three brothers, Lennis and Tommy Yates of Durant, Okla., and Anthony Yates of Krum; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. One daughter, Jackie Adrienne Mitchell, died in 1971.
Charles Clover
Charles Louis Clover, 68, of Dallas died Monday, June 11, 2001, in Fort Worth. He was born on Sept. 5, 1932, in Big Spring to Anita and Carlos "Cotton" Clover. For many years Charlie was in the oil production and insurance businesses. Later he became involved with the music industry as both a writer and publisher. He enjoyed creating and writing music and was in the process of writing a book.
Charlie grew up and began his career in Odessa. Four children, Kelly of Longview, Kim of Dallas, Lisa of San Francisco, and Richard of Wichita, Kan., survive Mr. Clover. His mother, Anita Clover, and his sister, Pat Gobble of Denton, two nieces and a nephew also survive him.
A celebration of Charlie's life will be held at Midway Point in Dallas at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, for family and friends.
Leo Henzler
Leo Henry Henzler, 79, of Pilot Point died Monday, June 11, 2001, in Krugerville.
He was born July 3, 1921, in Pilot Point to Henry and Mary Boerner Henzler. On July 25, 1950, he married Marie Annie Lubbers in Pilot Point. She died June 11, 2001.
Mr. Henzler was a retired aircraft mechanic for Aviall in Dallas and was also a farmer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Pilot Point.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, at St. Thomas Catholic Church. The Rev. Don Brennan, O.S.A., will officiate.
The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Huff-Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point.
Survivors include one son, Donnie Henzler of Valley View; one daughter, Barbara Moses and husband, Mike, of Denton; five grandchildren, Brandie Shepard of Kingston, Okla., Michelle Strand of Stuttgart, Germany, Jeff Henzler of McKinney, and Jake and Katie Henzler of Valley View; one great-granddaughter, Bailey Shepard of Kingston; two brothers, Robert Henzler of Pilot Point and Henry Henzler, Jr. of Pilot Point; and three sisters, Margaret Strittmatter and Rosemary Hollar of Pilot Point and Diann Nance of Clarksville, Tenn.
Marie Henzler
Marie Annie Henzler, 75, of Pilot Point died Monday, June 11, 2001, in Krugerville.
She was born Aug. 26, 1925, in Tioga to William and Mary Fries Lubbers. On July 25, 1950, she married Leo Henry Henzler in Pilot Point. He died June 11, 2001.
Mrs. Henzler was a homemaker and retired housekeeper at Sundial Nursing Home in Pilot Point.
She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Pilot Point.

Helen T. Richardson
Helen Tischer Richardson was born in Wall Lake, Iowa on April 6, 1915, and passed away at the age of 86 on Monday, June 11, 2001 at Lake Forest Good Samaritan Village in Denton as a result of emphysema and congestive heart disease.
Helen attended Morningside College in Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. In 1942, she moved to Dallas after qualifying for Braniff Airlines training program for radio weather communications. She became one of the select few females to fill this type of position. In 1946, she married Allen F. Richardson who owned Richardson Cabinet and Manufacturing Company and later Richardson Lumber and Manufacturing Company in Dallas. Helen was a long time proud Dallasite and an active member of Oak Lawn United Methodist Church and the "Tater" Sunday school class (Lillian Cullum Tate).
Helen is preceded in death by her husband Allen F. Richardson and three siblings. A loving son, John Allen Richardson and his wife Maryellen of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, and an adoring daughter, Helen Richardson McIllwain and her generous husband, Jim of Argyle, Texas, survive her. She has two grandchildren, Lamar Richardson and his wife Jennifer and daughter Alienor-Anne, and Caroline Mitchell and her husband Michael, all in the Dallas area. Helen also had numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and long time family friend, Enid Fehmel.
A service will be held 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2001 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Entombment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home.
