Irvin Stegall
Graveside services for Irvin Stegall, 83, of Crosbyton will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2002 at Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. Les Griffin officiating and Rev. Bobby Rine assisting. Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home - Crosbyton.
He died Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at Lubbock's Covenant Medical Center.
He was born December 5, 1918 in Stephenville,  Texas. He married Beatrice Stephens on May 17, 1940 in Crosbyton.
He was a member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church and the Crosbyton Lions Club. He was formerly a service station operator and a mechanic. He owned the Pontiac dealership in Crosbyton from the late 1950's to the 1960's. He moved to Crosbyton in 1926 from Erath County.
He is preceded in death by a brother Norris Stegall and two sisters Ozetta Irene Stegall and LaVerne Gregory.
Survivors include: his wife, Bea of Crosbyton, two sons Darrell Stegall of Lubbock, Ronald Stegall of Midland a daughter Donna Sue Vincent of Jacksonville, Arkansas, a brother Kenneth Stegall of Crosbyton a sister Olene  Jackson of Lubbock 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Roy Mara
A prayer service for Roy L. Mara, 92, of Alvin,  Texas will be at 5:00 PM, Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls with Rev. Rick Ketron officiating.
Graveside Services will be held at Ralls Cemetery at 2:00 PM, Monday, Sept. 9, 2002 under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died Thursday, September 5, 2002 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Clear Lake,  Texas. He was born on December 17, 1909 in Chico,  Texas. He married Pauline E. Littlefield on November 8, 1947 in Plainview,  Texas. She died on September 28, 1984. He was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He moved to Dacatur in 1990 then to Alvin in 1993. He was a former resident of Cone where he was a farmer. He served in the Army during WWII serving in Northern Africa and in Italy.
Survivors include: a son Pat Yoakum of Lorenzo, a daughter Mollie Boren of Alvin,  Texas a brother Jack Mara and his wife Mildred of Decatur, a sister Helen Duckingham of Redding, California, 5 Grandhcildren: Cody Boren, Matt Boren, Andy Boren, Roger Yoakum and Patti Ketron and her husband Rick, 2 great grandchildren: Jeffery and Jonie Ketron.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.

Junior Harper
Services for Junior Harper, 67, of Ralls will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 12, 2002 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ralls with the Rev. Raymond Roberts officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002 in Post,  Texas. He was born March 20, 1935 in Shiner,  Texas. He was married to Annie R. Anderson. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He moved to Ralls in 1972 from Lubbock and had worked at the First Baptist Church in Ralls as a custodian.
Survivors include his wife, Ann of Ralls, a son Shawn of Taylor, a daughter Sherry Harper of  Louisiana, and a brother B. H. of Shiner.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Johnson, T. L. McQueen, Cedell Anderson, Lavel Jackson, Marvin Jones, K. Y. Anderson.

Nelle Watson
Services for Nelle Watson, 64, of Desoto, formerly Lorenzo will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002 at Full Armor Ministries 4201 Ave. J Lubbock with the Rev. Charles Hankson officiating and the Rev. Leonard Chatham assisting. Burial will be at West Side Cemetery in Lorenzo under direction of Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo.
She died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002 at her home in Desoto. She was born Sept. 4, 1938. She married Rainey Watson on January 17, 1957 in Lubbock,  Texas. He died June 3, 1987.
She was a 1955 graduate of Snook High School in Clay,  Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from  Texas Tech University in 1978 in Child Development and was 12 hours away from her masters degree in early childhood education. She was a Head Start Director for SHAPES Head Start for 15 years and she had been an educator for 37 years. She was a member of NAEYC,  Texas Head Start Association, Booker T.  Washington Ex's of  Texas City, President of Women's Auxilliary of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church. She was Youth Director for 22 years at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She was a very strong Christian and very active in various ministries.
She is preceded in death by a sister Retha Jean Turner.
Survivors include: two sons, Randy Watson and Russell Watson both of Glen Heights two daughters; Sharon Sternes and her husband Kenneth of Desoto, Cynthia Banks and her husband Gregory of Glen Heights, her step father; Charles Battles of Lorenzo, a sister; Lenora Long of Houston, 10 grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law; Anna M. Baker of Lubbock, Rosie L. Wall of Lorenzo, two brothers-in-law; Charlie Baker of Arlington, Robert Watson of Amarillo, her God daughter; Magie F. Langston, her God mother Charlene Watson, Very Special Friends Clarissa Summons, Matilda Elizondo, Raythetta Sternes, Dr. Mary Tom Riley-O'Bar, a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Laura Anderson
Services for Laura Anderson, 95, of Lorenzo,  Texas will be at 2:00 PM, Wed. Sept. 18, 2002 at First Baptist Church in Lorenzo with the Rev. Charles Hankson officiating and the Rev. John Williams assisting.
Burial will be in West Side Cemetery in Lorenzo under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
She died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002 at Crosbyton Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 7, 1907 in Giddings,  Texas.
She married Albert "Buck" Anderson on December 23, 1923 in Moody,  Texas.
She was a member of the Pentacostal Church of God in Christ in Lorenzo. She moved to Lorenzo in 1941 from Moody,  Texas. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by a son Albert Anderson in 1951, 3 daughters, Doris Lauterdale in 1966, Alberta Anderson in 1949 and by Lucille Anderson in 2001. She is also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include: her husband, Albert "Buck" Anderson of Lorenzo, 9 sons; Claude L. Anderson of Odessa, Ervin Anderson of Lubbock, Ira Anderson of Lorenzo, Edward Anderson of Amarillo, Willie Anderson of Lorenzo, S. R. Anderson of Amarillo, Robert D. Anderson of Lorenzo, A. Y. Anderson of Lubbock, Charles Anderson of Lubbock, 2 daughters Ruby Byers of Amarillo, Daisy Anderson of Amarillo 40 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Anderson, A. Y. Anderson, Alfred Anderson, R. D. Anderson, Willie Anderson, Lewis Byers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ira Anderson, Edward Anderson, Claude Anderson, S. R. Anderson, Ervin Anderson, Gene Byers, Calvin Ash

Isidro Obregon, Jr.
Graveside Services for Isidro Obregon, Jr., 59, of Ft. Worth will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002 at Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Leonardo Pahamtang officiating.
Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM, Friday September 20, 2002 at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls.
Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died Thursday, September 19, 2002 at Crosbyton Hospital.
He was born November 24, 1942 in Corpus Christi,  Texas. He married Hermelinda Garcia. He was a member of the Catholic Church and a farmer. He moved to Ft. Worth in 2000 from Lubbock.
He is preceded in death by two brothers Richard in 2001 and Rufinito in 1939, a sister Lupita Obregon in 1940.
Survivors include: his wife; Hermelinda of Ft. Worth, a son David of Lubbock, two daughters; Linda Samarripa and Lora Villagran of Dallas, his father Isidro Obregon, Sr. of Ralls a brother Lupe Obregon of Ralls, three sisters Rosa Escobar of Crosbyton, Mary Obregon of Dallas and Luz Luebano of Waxahchie and 8 grandchildren.

Dennis Harman
Graveside Services for Dennis N. Harman, 78, of Dayton will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, Sept. 27, 2002 at Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating. Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
He died Wed. Sept. 18, 2002 at Magnolia Place Nursing Home in Liberty. He was born May 13, 1924 in Houston.
He was a member of the Baptist Church and worked in construction. He had lived in Houston most of his life. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII surviving the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Survivors include: a son Homer O. Harman of Magnolia two daughters; Karen Allen of Dayton and Jelora Coldiron of Dallas, 10 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild

Nora Irene Cooper
Graveside services for Nora Irene Cooper, 88, of Glendale, Arizona will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at Ralls Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.
Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
She died Thursday, September 26, 2002 at Peoria, Arizona. She was born July 18, 1914 in Rockdale,  Texas. She married James Henry Cooper on January 1, 1938 in Rockdale,  Texas. He died June 6, 1958.
She was a member of the Baptist Church and a homemaker. She moved to Arizona in 1995 from Irving,  Texas and had lived in Irving for 28 years.
Survivors include a son, James Henry Cooper of Singapore, a daughter Linda Totter of Glendale, Arizona, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Eulalia DeLeon
Services for Eulalia DeLeon, 100, of Crosbyton will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002 at San Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. Leonardo Pahamtang officiating.
Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM, Monday Oct. 28, 2002 at the same church.
Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
She died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002 at Crosbyton Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 12, 1902 in San Patricia,  Texas. She married Rafael DeLeon in 1924 in Falfurrias,  Texas. He died on June 1, 1995.
She was a member of the San Jose Catholic Church. She moved to Crosbyton from Floydada in 1989 where she had lived for many years. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by a son Esteban DeLeon.
Survivors include two sons: Raul DeLeon of Modesto, CA, Domingo DeLeon of Floydada, a daughter, Mercedes Hernandez of Crosbyton, 28 grandchildren, 55 Great Grandchildren, several Great Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Thomas Hernandez, Robert Hernandez, Jeffrey Hernandez, Gerald DeLeon, Cirio DeLeon, Ismael Cortinaz.

Loraine Hinton
Graveside services for Loraine Hinton, 91, of Ralls will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 14, 2002 at Ralls Cemetery with Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
She died Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at Wedgewood South Nursing Home in Lubbock. She was born May 6, 1911 in Denton County,  Texas. She married Guy Hinton on April 13, 1936 in Odessa,  Texas. He died January 29, 1997.
She was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She moved to Ralls in 1952 from Pampa.
Survivors include 2 sisters: Pauline Lowe of  White Deer,  Texas, Billie Jean Stephens of  Whitehouse,  Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
