Services for Ruthie Mae Payne, 79, of Caldwell are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Caldwell.
The Rev. Thurman Sims Sr. of Seven Star Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Belltown Cemetery in Belltown, Texas.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
Mrs. Payne died Thursday at her home.
She was born in Burleson County and was a lifelong resident of Caldwell.
She was retired as a cook for the Caldwell Schools and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Payne.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Melvin Jr. and Joyce Knox of Maryland; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Dwayne Fuselier and Glendora and Sandeep Khanna, all of Caldwell, and Lenora and Gerald King of
College Station; four brothers, Eugene Wilson of Corpus Christi, Texas, William Wilson and Earl Wilson, both of Houston, and Henry Lee Wilson of Fontana, Calif.; three sisters, Doris Stonum of Caldwell, Janie Taylor of
Fort Worth and Helen Ruth Young of Clovis, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Aleen I. Robinson

Graveside services for Aleen I. Robinson, 78, of College Station are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the College Station Cemetery.
The Rev. Charles Mason will officiate.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mrs. Robinson died Saturday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
She was born in Richmond, Va., and had lived in College Station for 50years. She was retired as a data processor for Texas A&M University and was a member of "Friends" at College Station Medical Center and was a "Gold Medallion" member through the St. Joseph Foundation. She was a Presbyterian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank K. Robinson. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mark Neil and Lynn Robinson of College Station; and four grandchildren.
Henry Alton Ferguson Sr.
May 2, 1923 - March 12, 2000
CALDWELL - Services for Henry Alton Ferguson Sr., 76, of Milano are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
The Rev. Reggie Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in the Milano Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Ferguson died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
He was born in Chriesman, Texas, and had lived in Milano for 15 years. He was retired as a master cabinet maker and served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps during World War II. He was a life member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America and formerly lived in Houston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joe Ella Ferguson.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Henry Alton Jr. and Michelle Ferguson of Milano; two daughters, Henri Ella Ferguson of Bryan and Thelma Fay Darling of Milano; a sister, Ethel Gene Ferguson of Houston; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Edna Bryant

NAVASOTA — Services for Edna Bryant, 86, of Navasota are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
The Revs. J.W.L. Adams of the First Baptist Church in Navasota and Walter M. Crofton of Pines Presbyterian Church in Houston will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bryant died Saturday in Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center in Houston.
She was born in Howth, Texas, and was a homemaker. She was a volunteer at Grimes Memorial Hospital, Red Cross Blood Drives and various school organizations and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Navasota, where she sang in the choir for many years. She was also a member and organizer of the AARP Chapter in Navasota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon V. “Stunty” Bryant.
Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth and Herbert Schulze and Mary Sue Fontana, all of Houston, and Jane Wagner of Lancaster, Texas; a sister, Mary Gaidosik of Hempstead, Texas, seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Thomas W. Eubanks

Services for Thomas W. Eubanks, 29, of North Zulch are set for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
The Rev. Dale Evans of Kings Table Apostolic Church in Iola will officiate. Burial will be a private family service.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to the time of the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Eubanks died Saturday in College Station Medical Center.
He was born in Calvert and had been a lifelong resident of North Zulch. He was a press operator and welder and was a member of Kings Table Apostolic Church in Iola. He served in the U.S. Navy during Operation Desert Storm and was in the NASJRB Reserve command unit in Fort Worth. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in North Zulch.
Survivors include his wife, Andromeda Eubanks of North Zulch; four daughters, Kathryn Eubanks, Abigael Eubanks, Elizebeth Eubanks and Holly Byles, all of North Zulch; a son, Thomas Jacob Eubanks of North Zulch; a brother, Oliver Eubanks of Bryan; a brother-in-law, James Cox of Ennis, Texas; his parents, Wanda and Morris “Butch” Eubanks of North Zulch; and his in-laws, Donald and Linda Cox of Ennis.
Archie Zack Griffin Sr.

FRANKLIN — Graveside services for Archie Zack Griffin Sr., 98, of Pampa, Texas, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Franklin Cemetery in Franklin.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Blair-Stubbs-McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
Mr. Griffin died Sunday in Pampa.
He was born in Franklin and had lived in Pampa since 1934.
He served in the Army Corps of Engineers and was retired from Mobil Oil. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pampa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen King Griffin.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Archie Zack Griffin Jr. of Pampa and Gary Norman and Johnnie Lee Griffin of College Station; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. McMellon died Sunday at his home.
He was born in the Reliance Community of Brazos County and had lived in Bryan for most of his life. He was retired as a Chief Petty Officer after 20 years with the U.S. Navy and was also retired from Texas A&M University as a welding instructor and welder. He served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the Church of Christ, the American Legion Post No. 159 and the VFW Post No. 4692.
Survivors include his wife, Rozetta McMellon of Bryan; a son, Ray McMellon of Reno, Nev.; five daughters and two sons-in-law, Brenda Jennings of San Diego, Calif., Theresa and Jim Martinez of Mesa, Ariz., Judy McMellon of Dallas, Frances Ball of College Station and Patricia and Harold Pivonka of Bryan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, J.D. and Helen McMellon of College Station and W.L. and Doris McMillon of Shreveport, La.; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Joel Westbrook of Hearne; a sister-in-law, Sybil McMillon of Waskom, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

IRVING, Texas — Services for Christopher Glenn Pursley, 17, of San Antonio, Texas, are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving, Texas.
Monsignor Jerome Duesman will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Donelly’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving.
Christopher died Sunday in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
He was born in Irving and had lived in San Antonio for five months. He was a student at John Marshall High School in San Antonio.
Survivors include his parents, Glenn and Sylvia Pursley of San Antonio; a sister, Priscilla Ann Pursley of San Antonio; grandparents, Gary D. and Sandra Pursley of Irving and Juan and Margaret Perez of Bryan; great-grandfather, Joe M. Pursley of Dallas; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Flemon Roberson

Services for Flemon Roberson, 90, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bryan.
The Revs. Michael E. Sheets and Greg Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Peoples Mortuary in Bryan.
Mr. Roberson died Saturday in Sherwood Nursing Home.
He was born in Shiro and had lived in Bryan for 58 years. He was retired as a brick layer and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher and chairman of the Deacon board. He was also a member of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge AF & AM of Texas Lodge No. 56.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Roberson.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Obie R. and Emerson Sheets of Bryan; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Geraldine McAdams Shiflet

BEDIAS — Services for Geraldine McAdams Shiflet, 84, of Angleton, Texas, are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Angleton.
The Rev. Chris Tate of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pankey Cemetery in Bedias with the Rev. Jerald Brown officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Bedias.
Mrs. Shiflet died Saturday.
She was born in Bedias and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Angleton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Vernon Shiflet.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Max and Peggy Shiflet and Willie Lee and Mary Shiflet; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Frank Valenta and Bobbie and Bill Orr; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
