SOMERVILLE —Services for Gregory R. Martinez, 79, of Somerville are set for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church Somerville.
The Rev. Sunny Sebastian will officiate. Burial will be in the Mexican Cemetery in Somerville.
Mr. Martinez died Sunday at his home.
He was born in Clay, Texas, and worked as a framing contractor until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Susie Martinez of Somerville; four daughters and sons-in-law, Matilda and Bob Bibby of LaMarque, Janie and Martin Chavez of Dallas, Mary and Larry Martinez and Isabell and Jesse Guillen, all of Somerville and Beatrice and Ricky Brinkman of Bay City, Texas; six sons and two daughters-in-law, Ambrosio and Betty Martinez, Marcellino Martinez, Lupe Martinez, and Richard Martinez, all of Somerville, Natalio Martinez of Brenham, and Ray and Donna Martinez of Lexington, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Mary Martinez of Pearland, Texas; 28 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Artrelle W. Dodson
Aug. 25, 1922 — March 13, 2000
CENTERVILLE — Services for Artrelle W. Dodson, 77, of Arlington, Texas, formerly of Midland are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville.
The Rev. Charles White of the Centerville First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Gum Springs Cemetery near Flynn, Texas.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dodson died Monday in an Arlington hospital.
He was born in Brinkman, Okla., was a retired grocery salesman, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Centerville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bassham Dodson.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Jeannette Dodson of Centerville; a daughter, Sue Lyons of Lake Forest, Calif.; a brother, Claude Dodson of Arlington; two sisters, Dorothy Bradshaw of Amarillo and Claudine Richardson of Altus, Okla.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Inez Fuller Berger
July 5, 1914 — March 13, 2000
Services for Inez Fuller Berger, 85, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Central Baptist Church in Bryan.
The Revs. Chris Osborne and Tim Skaggs will officiate.
Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Berger died Monday at the College Station Medical Center.
She was born in Bryan, was a Realtor and business woman and formerly owned Inez Berger Realtors in the Bryan/College Station area. She was a member of the National Board of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, and the Bryan/College Station Regional Association of Realtors. She was also employed by the USDA. where she was a member of TASCO for 32 years before opening her own real estate office. She is the only recipient to ever receive the Realtor Emeritus Award for the Bryan/College Station Regional Association of Realtors. She was also a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and of Central Baptist Church and the Ruth Bible Class.
She is survived by a son, Sid L. Berger of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Central Baptist Church building fund or to the charity of choice.
Ordy Deal Goolsby

MADISONVILLE — Services for Ordy Deal Goolsby, 83, of Madisonville are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at the J.M. Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville.
The Rev. James Adams will officiate. Burial will be in the Madisonville City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Goolsby died Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Regional Hospital in Madisonville.
She was born in Leon County.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, E.A. Deal and J.M. Goolsby.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jimmy and Bobbie Thompson of Burnett, Texas, and Ordy and Boyd Blair of Montgomery, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, John E. and Lucille Deal of Madisonville; a sister, Melissa Johnson of Bryan; six grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; many step-children and step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wilma Fuqua

NAVASOTA — Services for Wilma Fuqua, 74, of Navasota are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home in Navasota.
The Rev. J.W.L. Adams of First Baptist Church of Navasota will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 a.m. until the service begins at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fuqua died Tuesday at Grimes-St. Joseph Health Center in Navasota.
She was born in White Hall, Texas. She co-owned a flower shop, was secretary to a superintendent of Navasota Independent School District and worked in insurance and real estate.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Navasota.
Survivors include her husband, Daryl D. “Buckshot” Fuqua of Navasota; one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Inez Fuqua of Navasota; one daughter and son-in-law, Becky and David Towns of Navasota; and two grandchildren.
Fortino Noyola

Services for Fortino Noyola, 68, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
President Joe Cardenas of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bryan will officiate. Entombment will be in MSGR Gleissner Mausoleum.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until the service begins Friday.
A prayer service will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Noyola died Wednesday in Temple, Texas.
He was born in Los Fresnos, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict, and he attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bryan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Petra Noyola.
Survivors include nine siblings, Sylvestor Noyola of Los Fresnos, Texas, Fransisco Noyola of Los Fresnos, Auralia Noyola of Los Fresnos, Josie Stout of Los Fresnos, Jose I. Noyola of San Benito, Texas, Jessie Noyola of California, Guadalupe Gonzalas of Harlingen, Texas, Marcelo Noyola of Lake City, Texas, and Jose Angel Noyola of Oklahoma; one aunt, Rosalia Delgado of Lake City; Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Janie Oliva (Avila) Vasquez, 53, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church in Bryan.

Ms. Vasquez died Monday at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
She was born in Somerville, and lived in Bryan for seven years.
She was a nurse at St. Joseph Manor in Bryan and was active in St. Joseph Church.
Survivors include her mother, Mercedes Vasquez, of Bryan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jessie and Maria Avila Jr. of College Station, and Joseph C. and Melanie Avila of College Station; one daughter and son-in-law, Candi and Gene Martell of Bryan; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Lupe and Dora Vasquez of Houston, Fidencio and Sheila Vasquez of Birmingham, Ala.., and Sirilo and Tiffany Vasquez Jr. of Chappell Hill; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Angie Nowicki of Bryan, Richard and Beatrice Rodriguez of Bryan, Johnny and Julie Ramirez of Bryan, and Mary Rodriguez of Bryan; numerous nieces and nephews; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy L. Darcus.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Bernie Landrum Sr., George M. Lawshe Sr., and Emory Leroy Golden.
