Services for L.C. Pendley, 63, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Ranse Moore of Faith Outreach of Greenville will officiate. Burial will be in Rest-Ever Memorial Park with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Pendley died Saturday in Emery J. Lilge Hospice House in Burleson, Texas.
He was born in Jasper, Ga., retired after 20 years as a jet mechanic for the U.S. Air Force after receiving the rank of Tech Sergeant. After his retirement from the service, he was employed by Heidleberg Manufacturing as a maintenance supervisor.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Guyton Pendley of Conroe, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Belinda Pendley of Bryan and Mike and Sherrie Pendley of Conroe; a daughter, Cynthia Pendley of Garland, Texas; a brother-in-law, Robert Guyton of Reno, Nev.; four sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law, Elizabeth Pendley of Atlanta, Ga., Shirley and Bill Smith of Conroe, Delores and Lovis Milford of Hearne and Wanda and Roger Fisk of Wills Point; and two grandchildren.
Josephine Vela Prado

Services for Josephine Vela Prado, 46, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. John McCaffrey of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Prado died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was a cashier. She
was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Prado of Bryan; three sons, Johnny Vela of College Station, Roy Prado and Marcus Adams, both of Bryan; three daughters, India Prado and Jessica Corona, both of Bryan, and Julia Prado of College Station; three brothers, Domingo Vela of Alice, Texas, Guillermo Vela and Isabel Vela, both of Memphis, Texas; six sisters, Olga Vasquez of Laredo, Maria Zapata of Houston, Andrea Vela and Anna Vela, both of Oakland, Calif., Tina Alaniz and Angelia Dolbosque, both of Memphis; and eight grandchildren.

NAVASOTA — Services for Anna Robinson, 99, of Navasota are set for noon Wednesday at Truevine Baptist Church in Navasota.
The Rev. W.M. Gantt of Truevine Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Navasota.
Ms. Robinson died Thursday in Grimes St. Joseph Hospital.
She was born in Grimes County and was a homemaker. She was a member of Truevine Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Louis Robinson Jr. of Navasota; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dollie and Alex Greenwood, Sylvester and Sammy Blackshear and Ruby Steptoe, all of Navasota; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Alvin Jackson Richmond
May 21, 1931 — April 10, 2000
CENTERVILLE — Services for Alvin Jackson Richmond, 68, of Centerville are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Walters Funeral Home Chapel in Centerville.
The Revs. Floyd Loven of Lakeside Baptist Church in Trinidad, Texas, and Donald Pruitt of Calvary Baptist Church in Centerville will officiate. Dr. Donald Head of Leona will give the eulogy. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery near Oakwood, Texas.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to the time of the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Richmond died Monday at his home.
He was born in Oakwood, and had lived in Centerville for 13 years. He lived in Humble, Texas, for 32 years, where he was a carpenter in the construction industry. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, was music director and treasurer and drove the church van to pick up churchgoers. He was a rancher in his later life.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Richmond of Centerville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Bonita and George Culbertson of Raleigh, N.C., Carolyn and Henry Swallows of Humble, and Donna and Dale Anderson of Dayton, Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Wanda Richmond of Dublin, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and M.T. Morgan of The Woodlands, Texas; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Gabriel A. Rivas Sr.

GIDDINGS — Services for Gabriel A. Rivas Sr., 68, of Giddings are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Giddings.

Mr. Rivas died Sunday in Fayette Memorial Hospital in La Grange, Texas.
He was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and had lived in Giddings for 20 years. He was a Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Rivas of Giddings; six sons and two daughters-in-law, Matias Rivas of Hearne, Gabriel Rivas Jr. and Daniel and Lisa Rivas, all of Magna, Utah, Rufus and Cindy Rivas of Mission, Texas, Alfred Rivas of Decatur, Texas, and Eddie Rivas of San Antonio; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Claudia and Adolfo Lopez-Casares of Cuidad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico, Santos and Freddie Caballero of Bryan and Elsa R. Rivas of Magna, Utah; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Eufemia Rivas of Donna, Texas; a sister, Gloria Rivas of Hidalgo, Texas; 24 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Gary Bruce Taylor

MISSION, Texas — Services for Gary Bruce Taylor, 28, of McAllen, Texas, are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Mission.
The Rev. Don Owens of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.
Mr. Taylor died Saturday.
He was born in Valdasta, Ga., and was a lifelong resident of Mission. He was a 1994 graduate of Texas A&M University and was a teacher at Memorial High School in McAllen, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie Fields Taylor of McAllen; his parents, Gerald and Dee “Sandra” Taylor of Mission; his in-laws, Jerry and Sheila Fields of Bryan; a sister-in-law, Angela Fields of Austin; grandmother, Mabel Cole of Leicester, N.C.; grandparents-in-law, J.D. and Janet Crain and Lloyd and Norma Fields, all of Texarkana, Texas.

Clemente died Friday as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born in Rio Grande, Zacatecas, Mexico, and was working for Monterey Mushrooms. He had attended Madisonville High School.

Mrs. Winklemann died Sunday in Brenham Rest Home.
She was born in the Long Point Community of Washington County and was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. “Dick” Winklemann.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Sandy Winklemann of Brenham; a daughter, Lois Ann Winklemann of Brenham; a sister, Lenora Stolz of Carmine, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Martha Kelm of Brenham and Wilma Kelm of Burton; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pennington died Monday in Little Rock.
She was born in Normangee, was a school teacher and a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
She is survived by her brother, Otha M. Simms of Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Charlton died Thursday in Bryan.
He was born in Houston and was a member of St. George Orthodox Church in Houston.
He is survived by his sister, Justine Van Metre of Houston, and a many other relatives.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jones-Washington Mortuary.
Mrs. Manning died Friday at her home.
She was born in Brazos County, was retired and a member of Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Herman Manning of Humble, Texas, and Leroy Manning and John Manning, both of Bryan; four daughters, Willie Williams of Bryan, and Ruthie Scott, Gussie Pruitt and Pearline Kelly, all of Houston; three brothers, John C. Knootz and Homer Knootz, both of Houston, and Herman Walker of El Paso; a sister, Addie Ford of Abilene; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
