HEARNE — Services for Josephine Miller, 93, of Wheelock are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Wheelock Baptist Church.
Calvin Woods and Dale Wells will officiate. Burial will be in the Wheelock Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne.
Mrs. Miller died Thursday in Houston.
She was born in Longview, Texas, and had lived in Wheelock for many years. She was a retired teacher and was a member of the Wheelock Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse A. Miller.
Survivors include a sister, Mattie Rambo of The Woodlands, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elda Rose Quebe Danford

Services for Elda Rose Quebe Danford, 81, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in College Station.
The Rev. Erich Schaefer of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan and from 9 a.m. to the time of the services Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Danford died Friday in St. Joseph Manor.
She was born in Leroy, Texas, and had lived in Bryan for more than 20 years. She was a homemaker and was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Brazos County Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Linda Quebe of Converse, Texas; a daughter, Sheran Lewis of Temple, Texas; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Memorials may be made to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Building Fund or to a charity of choice.
Rosie Seeker Herzog

BRENHAM — Services for Rosie Seeker Herzog, 95, of Brenham are set for 2 p.m. Monday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Prairie Hill, Texas.
The Revs. Sue Beall and Charles Eckert will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery .
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mrs. Herzog died Thursday in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham.
She was born in Sandy Hill, Texas, and was a lifelong resident of the Brenham area. She had been a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church for 91 years and was retired after 24 years of service with Brentex Mills.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Herzog.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Johnnie Andrejczak of Brenham; two sisters-in-law, Mabel Seeker of Brenham and Ella Herzog of Austin; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

BOSSIER CITY, La. — Services for Thomas B. Carson, 79, of Bossier City are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Boone Funeral Chapel in Bossier City.

Mr. Carson died Sunday in Chritus Schumpert Medical Center in Bossier City.
He was born in Bryan and had lived in Bossier City since 1966. He was retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Barksdale Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ray Dell Carson of Bossier City; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Garry Hewett of Bossier City; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas F. II and Diane Carson of Bossier City; a brother, Archie Hugh Carson of El Cajon, Calif.; three grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

She was born in Hearne and had lived in Yoakum for four years. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Pizalate.

Mrs. Risinger died Friday in a Houston hospital.
She was born in Madisonville and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Deer Park, Texas. She was retired after 35 years with the Deer Park Independent School District and was a member of the Alpha Kappa Sorority.
Survivors include two daughters, Trina Desoto of Dania, Fla., and Marla Green of Baytown; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Annette Risinger of Baytown; a brother and sister-in-law, Wilburn and Estelle Maynard of Hawkins, Texas; former husband, Garvice Risinger of Madisonville; a grandson; a niece; and a nephew.
Willie Mae Burzynski

NAVASOTA — Services for Willie Mae Burzynski, 68, of Stoneham, Texas, are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stoneham.

Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home in Navasota, from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. to the time of the services Wednesday at the church.
A rosary will be recited and a vigil service held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Mrs. Burzynski died Saturday in Grimes-St. Joseph Health Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Stoneham and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was retired as the owner of the Stoneham Grocery.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Burzynski of Stoneham; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ted and Donna Burzynski and Paul and Kathy Burzynski, all of Stoneham; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Steve and Kathy Tomkivits, Lester and Marie Tomkivits, Daniel and Melode Tomkivits and John Tomkivits, all of Stoneham; a sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Julian Bilski of Brenham; a sister-in-law, Frances Tomkivits of Stoneham; and five grandchildren.
