BEDIAS — Services for Bertie Mae Thomas Plummer, 90, of Bedias are set for 10 a.m. Monday at the Bedias Baptist Church in Bedias.
The Rev. Jerald Brown of Bedias Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Bedias Baptist Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Bedias.
Mrs. Plummer died Saturday.
She was born in Hempstead, Texas, and was a member of the Bedias Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Bedias Women’s Club, the Civic Club of Bedias and the Dizzy Dozen Domino Club in Bedias.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Plummer.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Smith of Houston; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a nephew; two nieces; and a great-niece.
Clara Pearl Gentry

Graveside services for Clara Pearl Gentry, 76, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bryan City Cemetery.
The Rev. David Murphy of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and from 8 to 9 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mrs. Gentry died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Grimes County and was a lifelong resident of Bryan.
Survivors include a son, Ed Bowman of Austin; a daughter, Lois Trant of Bryan; a sister, Omalee Gustavis of Madisonville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Vaughn Glen Bozman Sr.

NAVASOTA — Memorial services for Vaughn Glen Bozman Sr., 78, of Plantersville, Texas, are set for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
The Rev. Ross Poteet of the United Methodist Church in Navasota will officiate.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Bozman died Saturday in College Station Medical Center.
He was born in Moxhala, Ohio, and was a retired welder and machinist for Ford Motor Company. He served in the military during World War II and was a member and post commander of the American Legion No. 426 in Triton, Ohio. He was also a member of the Elks Club.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Emma Bozman of Plantersville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Vaughn Glen Jr. and Janice Bozman of Houston and Christopher William Bozman of Alief, Texas; a daughter, Beverly Welch of Plantersville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Grover and Irene Bozman of Magnolia, Texas, and Donald Bozman of Columbus, Ohio; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Blanch and Roger Haves, Mone Jean Bozman and Bartha Joe Bozman, all of Reynoldsburg, Texas; Anna Belle Bozman of Florida; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services for Rita Garcia, 90, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Bryan.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Garcia died Monday at her home.
She was born in Kenedy, Texas, and lived in College Station for 19 years. She was a homemaker and was Catholic.

She was born in Thorndale and was a member of Calvert United Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Joshlin.

BURTON — Services for Kermit W. Renck, 85, of Carmine, Texas, are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton.
Mr. Renck died Monday in Fayette Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Warrenton, Texas, and owned and operated a general merchandise store in Carmine for 33 years until his retirement. He was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church, the Carmine Fire Department, the Carmine Chamber of Commerce, Sons of Hermann Lodge 151 and the La Bahia Cemetery Association.
Survivors include his wife, Ora May Miller Renck of Carmine; two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly Ann and Larry Devillier of Plaquemine, La., and Linda Kay and James Mattocks of Austin; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Lydia Miller of Lexington and Neva Lee and Orvill Simmang Sr. of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was born in Welcome, Texas. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brenham, the Sons of Hermann Sister Lodge 11, and Tri Community Extension Homemakers Club.
