BRENHAM — Services for Aline E. Pampell, 76, of Brenham are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham. The Rev. Matthew Jacobs and the Rev. William Holzer will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mrs. Pampell died Monday at Trinity Medical Center.
She was born in Loebau, Texas. She was a homemaker. She had been a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham for 21 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold I. Pampell.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Karen Pampell of Houston and Dennis and Janice Pampell of Bryan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and Adrian Garcia of Houston and Debby and Larry White of Brenham; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a brother, Henry Wobus of Austin; and a sister, Annie Bartholic of Austin.

Services for Ralph Winfred Hicks, 53, of College Station are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Matthews Baptist Church in College Station. Elder James C. Hicks of Phoenix will officiate. Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Houston.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Robey Funeral Home in Baytown, Texas.
Mr. Hicks died Thursday at College Station Medical Center.
He was born in Tyler. He served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Texas A&M University after 14 years.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Peterson-Hicks of College Station; a son, Rodney Hicks of Brenham; a step-son, Carlton Peterson of Bryan; two step-daughters and a son-in-law, Felissa and Gary Hammond and Relinda Peterson, all of Bryan; one sister, Ellen Hicks-Williams of Phoenix; two brothers, James C. Hicks of Phoenix and Raymond H. Hicks of Houston; and a host of other family and friends.
John Young Oldham

PETTEWAY COMMUNITY — Services for John Young Oldham, 87, of Petteway community in Robertson County, are set for 11 a.m. Friday at the Herds Prairie Baptist Church. Dan Bates and Floyd Paltier will officiate. Burial will be in Herds Prairie Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
Mr. Oldham died Monday in Temple.
He was born in Herds Prairie. He was a farmer and rancher and had been a lifetime resident of Petteway. He was a member of the Herds Prairie Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bremond.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Hand Oldham of Petteway; one daughter, Kathryn Elder-DelaTorre of Houston; one son and daughter-in-law, Danny E. and Tammy Oldham of Petteway; one sister, Lillis Oldham Bailey of Austin; three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Carey Morrow, Sr.

FRANKLIN — Services for Carey Morrow Sr., 85, of Franklin are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Church of God In Christ in Franklin. The Rev. H.L. Thomas of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Hearne will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetary.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Peoples Mortuary in Bryan.
Mr. Morrow died Sunday at his home.
He was a lifetime resident of the Pin Oak community of Franklin. He retired from the railroad. He was a member of St. Joseph Church of God In Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mollie Richard Morrow of Franklin; six sons, Carey Morrow Jr. of Columbus, Ga., Jimmy Morrow of Fort Worth, John Raymond Morrow of Lancaster, Texas, Billy Gene Morrow of Franklin, Leonard Morrow of Calvert, Bobby Morrow of Franklin and Charles Ray Morrow of Franklin; three daughters, Marilyn J. She was born in Cedar Bayou, Texas. She was a homemaker, a past worth matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Collie Camp Arrington.
