Services for Delores Marie Giglio, 43, of Bryan are set for 1 p.m. Friday at Bethel Temple Assembly of God. The Rev. Randy Scott of Bethel Temple Assembly of God will officiate. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Ms. Giglio died Tuesday in Conroe, Texas.

She was born in Bryan. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Solomon and Sophia Hernandez of Bryan and Francisco Figueroa of Jacksonville, Texas; three daughters and a son-in-law, Inez Alvarado, Angela and Joshua Medina, and Sara Alvarado, all of Bryan; a mother, Mary Agnes Equia of Conroe; two brothers, Joe Munoz of Bryan and Alfredo Caballero of Dallas; five sisters, Dorothy Ann Giglio, Monica Munoz, Sabrina Dee Moralez, Lori Ann Equia, all of Conroe, and Martha Mancuso of Bryan; seven grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Edward Earle Boyd
Sept. 30, 1923 - Sept. 27, 2000

HUNTSVILLE, Texas — Services for Edward Earle Boyd, 76, of Huntsville are set for 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Huntsville. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Carroll Williams will officiate.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Huntsville Funeral Home.
Mr. Boyd died Wednesday in Bryan.

He was born in Port Neches, Texas. He was retired from State Farm Insurance. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Huntsville and Forrest Lodge #19 AF & AM.

Survivors include his wife, Maudie Boyd of Huntsville; two sons and daugthers-in-law, Bruce and La Juan Boyd of Bryan, and Brian and Becky Boyd of Waco; five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Music Scholarship Fund at First Baptist Church or charity of choice.

Daisy Mary Gilmore
Dec. 23, 1909 — Sept. 23, 2000

Graveside services for Daisy Mary Gilmore, 90, of College Station are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Wixon Cemetery. The Rev. A.C.Clark III of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church will officiate.

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Friday at People’s Mortuary in Bryan.

Mrs. Gilmore died Saturday at Colton Inn.

She was born in Mumford, Texas.

Survivors include her cousins, Billy Anderson, Mary Asberry, Josephine Houston, Helen Asberry Williams, Myrtle Asberry, all of Bryan; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Brian Keith Lamar
May 29, 1967 — Sept. 27, 2000

WICHITA FALLS — Graveside services for Brian Keith Lamar, 33, of Wichita Falls formerly of Houston, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. The Rev. Charles Cox will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Mr. Lamar died Wednesday in Wichita Falls.

He was born in Houston. He was a clerk at Kinko’s.

Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Lamar Fleck and Dan Fleck; a niece, Autumn Fleck of Wichita Falls; two aunts, Jo Newton Bird of Rockdale and Shirley Jean Ellis of Evansville, Ind.; and a great aunt, Billie Biehle Dismukes of Rockdale.

Roger Lynn Starkey
Nov. 11, 1935 — Sept. 21, 2000

AMARILLO — Graveside services for Roger Lynn Starkey, 64, of Amarillo are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Norwood Cemetery in Hearne. The Rev. Larry Blackmon of First Baptist Church in Hearne will officiate.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne.

Mr. Starkey died Sept. 21 in Amarillo.

He was born in Franklin. He was a sales representative for a cable company, a past president and board member of Parents Without Partners in San Angelo, a member and past officer of LULAC of Ballinger and Amarillo, and was active in local, state, and national politics. He was active in student ministries at Amarillo College. Mr. Starkey was in the Air Force. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Dedi Starkey of Amarillo, three stepsons, Steve Drake of Farmington, N.M., Brian Drake of Fort Worth, and Tony Drake of Waxahachie, Texas; two stepdaughters, Pam Lusk of Amarillo and Sherri Ray of Austin; one sister and brother-in-law, Janis Starkey Meyer and Kirby T. Meyer of Austin; one niece, one nephew and seven stepgrandchildren.

Memorials may be made to LULAC in care of Mike Zuniga, 1602 CR 261 Ballinger, Texas, 76821, or the Amarillo Public Library.

Terry Crocker
April 3, 1965 — Sept. 28, 2000

Services for Terry Crocker, 35, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. The Rev. Johnny Lee Crocker of Sand Prairie Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Peyton Cemetery in the Benchley Community.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Crocker died Thursday in Galveston.

He was born in Bryan and attended Bryan High School. He was a mechanic.
Survivors include his parents, Olen and Lillian Crocker and a brother, Olen Ray Crocker Jr., all of Bryan.

Dorothy Lillian Clark
Jan. 5, 1921 — Sept. 27, 2000

A memorial service for Dorothy Lillian Clark, 79, of College Station is set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Grace Bible Church in College Station.

Stanley and Tom Clark will officiate. There will be a private family burial at College Station Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

Mrs. Clark died Wednesday in Navasota.

She was a medical technologist and a homemaker. She graduated from St. Catherine’s College. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Mission’s Committee of Grace Bible Church, involved at the Wellborn Community Center, and a member of the Brazos Valley Geneological Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley P. Clark.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Nancy Clark of Houston, Tom and Barbara Clark of Pequannock, N.J.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie Clark Miller and Bob of Richmond, Calif., and Elizabeth and David Lehnert of Navasota; two brothers, Dr. Robert C. Bateman of Dannville, Ky., and Roy A. Bateman; and nine grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, Grace Bible Church Mission Fund or Polysystic Kidney Foundation.

Robert C. Arbuckle
May 29, 1928 — Sept. 27, 2000

CALVERT — Services for Robert C. Arbuckle, 72, of Calvert are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Calvert.

Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Normangee.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Calvert.

Mr. Arbuckle died Wednesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.

He was born in Wood River, Ill., and was was a longtime resident of Bryan. He was a realtor prior to his retirement. He and his wife owned and operated the Sweet Shoppe on Main Street in Calvert. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Arbuckle of Calvert; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Wendell Arbuckle of Austin, and Paul Dean Arbuckle and Linda Autrey of College Station; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Kay and James Flores of Bryan, and Jeanne Ann Arbuckle and Ray Jordan of Austin; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard Wendell and Jo Ann Arbuckle of Zionsville, Ind., a sister, Phyllis Hobson of College Station; four grandchildren, two stepgrandsons, and four step-great-grandchildren.

Earl F. Davis
Dec. 19, 1913 — Sept. 26, 2000

KEITH, Texas — Services for Earl F. Davis, 86, of Keith are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church in Keith. The Rev. John R. Maxwell and Darren Wright and Ted Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Keith.

Local arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.

Mr. Davis died Tuesday in St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center in Bryan.

He was born in Grimes County. He was a carpenter prior to retirement. He served in the Army during World War II in the Rhineland and Central Europe and received numerous commendations for his service. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Iola.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vera Vaughn Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Davis of Keith; a son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Sammye Davis of Temple, Texas; four daughters and a son-in-law, Connie Francis of Keith, Adele Wright and Paula Fisher, both of Bryan, and Cheryl and Craig Thompson of Friendswood; a sister and brother-in-law, Blanche and Leo Stedman of Keith; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Harry Wayne Kerns
Feb. 13, 1937— Sept. 26, 2000

CALVERT — Services for Harry Wayne Kerns, 63, of Calvert are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne. The Rev. E.W. Whitmire of United Pentecostal Church in Calvert will officiate. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Calvert.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Kerns died Tuesday in Cameron.

He was born in Duncan, Okla. He was an equipment operator.

He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a Catholic.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Kerns of Calvert; two sons, Wilbert Abbott of Grapeland, Texas, and Ronnie Abbott of Huntington, Texas; two daughters, Tommie Burrous of Hearne, Charlene Brasher of Franklin; nine brothers, Charlie W. Kerns of Hearne, Billy D. Kerns of Florida, Karl R. Kerns of Dallas, Chester R. Kerns of Oklahoma, Tommy E. Kerns of Dallas, Eddie J. Kerns of Washington, Jimmy L. Kerns of Oklahoma, Freddie C. Kerns of Washington, Robert V. Kerns of Odessa; three sisters, Dorothy Kerns Schleichert of Washington, Bobbie Kerns Powers of Virginia, Frankie Kerns Vandiver of Oregon; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Marcelino Taylor Sauseda Jr.
June 2, 1910 — Sept. 27, 2000

Services for Marcelino Taylor Sauseda Jr., 90, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Sunday in Santa Theresa Catholic Church in Bryan. The Rev. Victor Robles will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Sauseda died Wednesday at his home.

He was born in Elgin. He was a construction worker. He was a member of Santa Theresa Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Lilia Sauseda of Bryan; six sons and daughters-in-law, Rafael A. and Olga G. Sauseda, Benito and Mary Sauseda, Raul Sauseda, Roberto Sauseda, Marcelino and Mary Ellen Sauseda III, all of Bryan; Mike and Francis Sauseda of San Diego; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Rose and Silbiano Hernandez of Bryan, Nellie and Paul Sammarripas of Bryan, Josephine and Manuel Montemayor of Brownsville; one brother, Aurelio Sauseda of Bryan; one sister, Inez Sauceda of Waxahachie, Texas; 45 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Joanne Maxey
Jan. 15, 1929 — Sept. 20, 2000

NEW ALBANY, Miss. — Services for Joanne Maxey, 71, of New Albany, Miss., were Sept. 22 at United Funeral Service Chapel. Burial was in New Albany Cemetery. United Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.

She was born in Ingomar, Miss. She was a 1946 graduate of New Albany High School and was the women’s editor and bookkeeper at the New Albany Gazette for over 28 years.

Survivors include her husband, James Maxey of New Albany; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie Ann Maxey Bramlitt and Eddie, Sarah Margaret “Sally” Maxey Amos and Eddie, all of New Albany; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Beverly Dillard of Bryan; three sisters-in-law, Liz Dillard of Bryan, Pat Dillard of Memphis, Tenn., and Lois Dillard of New Albany, Miss., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Annie Carter
Nov. 18, 1920 — Sept. 28, 2000

CENTERVILLE — Services for Annie Carter, 79, of Huntsville and formerly of Centerville are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Centerville. The Rev. Larry Ashley will officiate. Burial will be in the Centerville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville.

Mrs. Carter was born in Weches, Texas. She was a graduate of Sam Houston State Teachers College. She was a member of the Leon County Retired Teachers Association and the First Baptist Church in Centerville.

Survivors include her husband, Isaac “Buck” Carter of Huntsville, two daughters and a son-in-law, Annie Jordan of Huntsville and Betty Ann Williams and Mike of Efland, N.C.; three brothers, Harold Hogan of Grapeland, Texas, Jack Hogan of Pasadena, Texas, Bill Hogan of Pasadena; one sister, Betty Jean Crim of San Antonio; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
