CAMERON — Services for Katie May Eaton, 93, of Buckholts are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.

The Rev. Gary Kleypas will officiate. Burial will be in Marak Methodist Cemetery in Marakville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Eaton died Saturday in a Temple, Texas, hospital.

She was born in Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie William Eaton Sr.

Survivors include two sons, Jessie Eaton Jr. of Buckholts and Gerald Gene Eaton of Alabama; two daughters, Ida Faye Eaton and Shirley Eaton Jurca, both of Buckholts; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Micah Shane Hogan
Aug. 28, 1984 — Nov. 10, 2000

FRANKLIN — Memorial services for Micah Shane Hogan, 16, of Franklin are set for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Franklin.

Villard Hunter of Brenham, Danny O’Quinn and Jimmy Snell, both of Still Creek Ranch in Bryan, will officiate. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Livingston, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
Micah died Friday in Bryan.

He was born in Houston and had lived in Franklin for three years. He formerly lived in Bellville and was a student at the Still Creek Christian School in Bryan. He played basketball and chess and was a Christian.

Survivors include his parents, Joanne and Larry Hogan of Franklin; a brother, Keenan Hogan of Franklin; a sister and brother-in-law, Heather Hogan Cozad and Bobby Cozad of Houston; and his grandmother, Lillian Nesmith of Houston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Still Creek Christian School, 6055 Hearne Lane, Bryan, Texas 77808.

Doris Nell Keefer
April 30, 1942 — Nov. 12, 2000

MADISONVILLE — Services for Doris Nell Keefer, 58, of North Zulch are set for 9 a.m. Wednesday at the J.M. Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville.

Bro. Sam Manning will officiate. Burial will be in Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Keefer died Sunday in Madison St. Joseph Health Center.

She was born in North Zulch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alonzo Keefer Sr.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Reanna Keefer of North Zulch and Don and Gina Keefer of Normangee; a sister, Sadie Mele of Azle, Texas; two brothers, Kenneth Robinson of Madisonville and Jimmy Lee Robinson of Freemont; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances Fridel Webb
March 29, 1920 — Nov. 11, 2000

Services for Frances Fridel Webb, 80, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.

The Rev. John McCaffrey of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Webb died Saturday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.

She was born in Benchley and was a lifelong resident of Bryan. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Board of Directors for Wixon Water Works and was a Brazos County D.H.I.A. supervisor and a past 4-H leader. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a religious education teacher and an RCIA team leader, president of the Altar Society and secretary of the Deanery Council of Catholic Women.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur A. Webb.

Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund.

Juanita Fay Wright
Jan. 31, 1934 — Nov. 12, 2000

MADISONVILLE — Services for Juanita Fay Wright, 65, of Madisonville are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the J.M. Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville.

Lanier Stevens will officiate. Burial will be at 12:45 p.m. in the Weldon Cemetery in Lovelady, Texas.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wright died Sunday in Madison St. Joseph Health Center in Madisonville.

She was born in Center, Texas, and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Wright of Madisonville; three daughters and a son-in-law, Beverly and Vincent Jeffries of Madisonville, Linda Brown of Flynn and Eulle Farris of Burney; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Sally Caldwell of Madisonville; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Dwight William Andres
Sept. 11, 1911 — Nov. 12, 2000

MIDLAND, Texas — Graveside services for Dr. Dwight William Andres, 89, of Midland are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Restever Memorial Park in Bryan.

The Rev. Morris House will officiate.

Visitation will be held after the services Wednesday in the Heritage Room of the First United Methodist Church in Bryan.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home in Midland.

Dr. Andres died Sunday at his home.

He was born in Nevada County, Ark., and had lived in Midland since 1987. He served his internship at Shreveport Charity Hospital and graduated from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine in 1939. He was the first private physician to establish a practice in Bryan in 1940. He built a medical clinic in 1952 where he practiced until his retirement in 1985.

He was past president and member of the Brazos-Robertson Counties Medical Society and served as past chief of staff of St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan, as well as chief of internal medicine. He was a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Southern Medical Association and the Fifty Year Club of Texas Medical Association. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bryan and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Midland.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Andres; a daughter, Anne Andres Fields; a son-in-law, Terry S. Fields; and two grandchildren.

Terry Moore
Oct. 27, 1955 — Nov. 13, 2000

Services for Terry Moore, 45, of Kurten are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

The Rev. Robert Irwin will officiate. Burial will be in Restever Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Moore died Monday at his home.

He was born in Houston and was the owner of Moore Productions.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Moore of Kurten; a son, Jess Lee Moore of Kurten; a daughter, Crystal Moore of Conroe, Texas; three brothers, Gary L. Moore, Ronnie L. Moore and Jess L. Moore, all of Houston; his parents, Jessie L. Moore and Olga Fickie Moore, both of Houston; and two grandchildren.

Tommie Heads Jr.
July 2, 1920 — Nov. 7, 2000

HOUSTON — Services for Tommie Heads Jr., 80, of Houston are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Frazier-Mitchell Funeral Chapel in Houston.

The Rev. Charles Heads will officiate. Burial will be in Houston National Veteran’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Heads died Tuesday at his home.

He was born in Bryan and worked for the U.S. Postal Service. He served in World War II and was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church in Booneville.

Survivors include his former wife, Ida Spikes Heads of California; two sons, Tommie Heads III of Lancaster, Calif., and the Rev. Charles Heads of Houston; four daughters, Erma Faye Jefferson of Bryan, Rosetta Mays, Florence Bargley and Bobbie Jean Irvin, all of Houston; a sister, Thelma Heads of Bryan; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Melissa P. Johnson
Sept. 13, 1911 — Nov. 12, 2000

Services for Melissa P. Johnson, 89, of Bryan are for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Central Church of Christ in Bryan.

Al Jelly of the Central Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Greer Cemetery in Madison County.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

Mrs. Johnson died Sunday.

She was born in Leon County and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Wilton Johnson of Bryan; a daughter-in-law, Mary Alice Johnson of Bryan; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Elaine Marie Williams
July 11, 1939 — Nov. 12, 2000

NAVASOTA — Graveside services for Elaine Marie Williams, 61, of Houston are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at the Apolonia Cemetery in the Apolonia community.

The Rev. Jeremy Pruitt will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home in Navasota.

Mrs. Williams died Sunday in Conroe Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Mount Vernon, Wash., and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Metropolitan Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Donald K. Grissom Jr. of Conroe, William Barron Grissom of Spring, Texas, and Earl Ward Williams of Houston; a daughter, Laura Joy Tracey of Spring; a brother, Bill Herring of Washington; her step-father, James Paul of Mount Vernon; and seven grandchildren.

Terry Moore
Oct. 27, 1955 — Nov. 12, 2000

Services for Terry Moore, 45, of Kurten are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
