A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s on McFaddin. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today at the mortuary.
A lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was owner of Structural Steel and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Stephenson of Beaumont; sons, Richard Stephenson of Beaumont and Curtis Stephenson of League City; daughters, Lisa Janssen of Austin, Stephanie Scotch of Beaumont and Melissa Gallagher of Chicago; brothers, Clinton Stephenson of Hemphill and Karl Stephenson of Vidor; sisters, Barbara Headley of Vidor and Judy Odom of Woodville; and five grandchildren.

A native of Quinlan, he lived in Beaumont 60 years and was a retired Mobil Oil brick mason and World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie M. Stringer of Beaumont; daughter, Susan Riley of Beaumont; son, Scott Stringer of Gainesville, Fla.; brother, Joe C. Stringer of Houston; and four grandchildren.
