Biano

Emerson Anne Biano, infant daughter of Brandon Biano and Taylor Clakley, of Kountze, TX, died Tuesday December 20, 2016 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas - Beaumont.

Cremation services are under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc.

Those left behind to carry her on in their hearts are her grandparents, Danielle Deaton and husband David of Kountze, Shannon Garcia and husband Chris of Sour Lake, Amanda Clakley and husband Edward of Kirbyville and Cindy Biano and husband Harold Jr. of Hull., She is also survived by numerous great grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Henley

Jerry Lee Henley, age 70 of Liberty, died December 23, 2016 at Magnolia Place Health Care in Liberty.

Jerry was born May 20, 1946 in Stanton Island, NY, daughter of Dempsie and Patricia Henley. She attended Liberty High School and was in the real estate business. While growing up, Jerry enjoyed horseback riding as well as being in the country. But most of all, Jerry loved caring for her sons.

Jerry was preceded in death by her father. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, mother; Patricia Henley of Liberty, sons; Jeff Aycock and wife Mandy of Baytown, Chris Aycock of Belize, sister; Holly Henley of Liberty, brother; Scott Henley of Liberty, and grandchildren; Cierra Rose and Madison Aycock.

Services for Jerry Lee Henley will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 2pm at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX with burial to follow at Concord cemetery in Rye, TX.

Holley

Gary W. Holley, 70, of Kenefick, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016, in Baytown.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 26, 2016, at the Kenefick Civic Center with services concluding thereafter. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Gary was born June 15, 1946 in Arcadia, Louisiana, to parents; Edwin A. Holley and Mary Lucille King, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Kenefick for the past 40 years. He was a graduate of Arcadia High School, attended Lee College, veteran of the US Army with service during Vietnam, a retired pipefitter for DuPont, and worked part time for Cooper Electric. He held memberships in the Elks Lodge where he had held the position of ER, along with many other positions and was a current board member of ESD-1. He was also a member of Kenefick Civic Center, Kenefick Smokers BBQ team, Dayton Young Farmers, and Three Mile Hunting Club, lifetime NRA, and International Chemical Workers Union Gary was a life member of the HLSR and former chief of the Kenefick Volunteer Fire Department. He was past Kenefick City CouncilmanHe also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising longhorn cattle. He truly loved his family and he was the best PawPaw hugs giver.

Mr. Holley was preceded in death by his father: Edwin A. Holley, mother: Mary Lucille King Peeples, son: Robert Nelson Holley, brothers: Walter and Waymon Holley, sister: Janice Combs, and brothers-in-law: Gene Addington, Lloyd Addington, and Tom Combs. He is survived by his wife of 34 years: Lela Addington Holley, son: Wes Holley of Kenefick, daughter: Wendy Bode and husband Rodney of Dayton, brothers-in-law: George Addington and wife Linda of Dayton and Johnny Addington of Nacogdoches, sisters-in-law: Fain Addington of Dayton, and Zo Holley of Mt. Home, Arkansas; grandchildren: Ethan Wade Holley, Nikki McMahan and husband Matt, Brittany Holcomb, and Angelica Holley, great-grandchildren: Scarlett McMahan, Calvann McMahan, and Kenzie Holcomb, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

For those who desire, donations may be made to the Liberty Elks Lodge in Gary’s name.

Nelson

On November 26, 1956, Mrs. Janice P. LaCour Nelson was born in Houston, Texas to the late Percy and Ella Mae LaCour.

Janice attended Jefferson Davis Senior High School in Houston, Texas. She was an honor student. She continued her education at Lee College in Baytown, Texas. After two years she received her degree in Business Administration. When she finished school Janice moved to Dayton, Texas.

Janice accomplished so many achievement and met every personal goal she set in her life time. She was very generous, kind, loving woman and would do anything for anyone who truly needed it. Janice touched the hearts and lives of so many people.

Janice was preceded in death by two brothers: Woodie Briscoe, Jr. and Humphrey Briscoe, one son: David C. Nelson II.

Janice leaves to cherish her memories her children; Michael A. Pennywell, Kelly M. Pennywell, Lanetta P. Nelson, Anthony J. H Nelson and Christopher A. Simien; one sister: Renee DeWalt; one brother: Donnie Briscoe. Janice was also a proud grandmother to fifteen grandchildren. She also has one great grandchild Noah “Dudie”. Her grandbabies call her “Grea”.

On December 16, 2016. Janice P. LaCour-Nelson received her wings and a key to a paradise in the sky. Mrs. Janice P. LaCour-Nelson will forever be on our hearts and minds. Rest Easy!

Visitation will is Friday, December 23, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., and will lie-in-state Saturday, December 24, 2016, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 801 S. Colbert St., Dayton, Texas; funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM.

Pastor Dwight Pruitt officiating.

Interment is in Wells Memorial cemetery - Liberty, Texas.

Coleman

On Friday, December 16, 2016, Isaac Coleman died surrounded by his family.

Isaac was born on June 19, 1937 to Phillip and Helen Coleman of Devers, Texas. Isaac attended public school in Liberty Independence School District. Isaac excepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He met and married Ada Booze in 1957, to this union three children were born, Rickey, Emma and Pamela. He was employed as a farmer. He later became a truck driver until his retirement.

Isaac was preceded in death by his parents: Phillip and Helen Coleman, brother Johnny and two granddaughters (Shawna and Catrina). Isaac leaves to cherish his loving memories; his wife Ada, one son: Rickey Coleman (Cheryl); two daughters: Emma Coleman Lewis (Anthony), Pamela Lewis (Kenneth) all of Houston, Texas; three brothers: Albert Coleman of Houston, Philip Coleman and Wilton Bellard (Juanita) both of Devers, Texas, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grand children and seven great -great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will is Friday, December 23, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., and Saturday, December 24, 2016, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. in Wells Funeral Services in the Althea P. Gibson Chapel; funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M..

Pastor Michael Landry will be officiating.

Interment is in Wells Memorial cemetery - Liberty, Texas.

Randolph

Catherine Randolph died Friday, December 16, 2016 in San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, Baytown, Texas following an illness of several months.

She was born in Liberty, Texas at Kersting Memorial Hospital and attended school at West Liberty High School graduating in 1966.

Survivors include four sons Craig Steven Terrell, Brian Keith, Henry James, John Douglas, one daughter: Tonya Arleen Sheppard, adopted sons: Benjamin Cornell, and Donald Bulay. Two grandsons: Devon Craig Terrell, De’JongeRaShard Robinson, adopted grandchildren KaleceaChevon “Tinka” Dixon, Eziah Ellis.

Visitation will be at Wells Funeral Services in the Althea P. Gibson Chapel on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.. She will lie-in-state Friday, December 23, 2016, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM in Mt. Rose Missionary Baptist Church, 808 Washington St., Liberty, Texas; funeral services will follow 11:00 AM.

Pastor L C Speights is officiating.

Interment is in Wells Memorial cemetery, Liberty, Texas.

Richardson

Jeffery Wade Richardson, 31, of Port Arthur, Texas, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in his home.

He was born on October 16, 1985 in Galveston, Texas to James Jeffrey and Julia Lynn McDaniel Richardson. Jeff graduated from Anahuac High School class of 2003. Shortly after high school, he relocated to the Port Arthur area where he worked for the last 5-6 years as a Concierge doing multiple jobs including decorating and event planning for Studio 6 hotel.

Jeff was a momma’s boy who adored his extremely large family and his friends. He loved always spending time with his siblings, nieces and nephews. Jeff would even host slumber parties at his home for the kids. He was very artistic by nature and most referred to him as the “master decorator” in the family. Jeff loved to cook and experiment with his cooking. He was a kind, loving soul who never met a stranger and had an absorbent number of friends. Jeff would do just about anything to gain attention and he had to always be the center of attention whenever he was. He was a pet fanatic who loved his animals dearly and has had an array of creatures in his lifetime from bearded dragons, snakes, cats, dogs, ducks, coons and squirrels.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Richardson; his paternal grandparents Joy and Loyd Green. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father James “Jamie” Richardson of Anahuac; his daughter Torrance Olivia Richardson of Lumberton; his brother Nathaniel Richardson and wife Betty of Anahuac; his sisters Brandy Perez and husband Louis of Houston and Shae’na Vasquez and husband Adib of Port Neches; his maternal grandparents Bobby and Judy McDaniel of Anahuac; his paternal grandfather Tony Richardson; his numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10am until 11am on Friday, December 23, 2016 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 S. Main Street, Anahuac, Texas. Funeral services will begin immediately following the visitation at 11am, with Bro Mark Pagels officiating. It was Jeff’s wishes to be cremated and placed with his mother Julia.

Peters

Amie Coleleen Peters, 47, of Bacliff, Texas received her angel wings on December 17, 2016, while at Methodist Hospital in Houston.

She courageously fought a 20-year battle with a rare blood disorder, TTP.

Born Amie Coleleen Westcott, on October 3, 1969, to parents Peggy Ilene Thornton and Calvin Hugh Westcott. Amie graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1988, where she was known as Amie Dobbs. She enjoyed crafts, drawing, painting, and was very creative and artistic. This was shown in her ability to style hair. Amie was one of the best hairstylists in the area. She had a heart as big as Texas and was marvelous at caring for her family and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her bonus father, Pee Wee Dobbs; her maternal grandfather, Lloyd (Skeet) Thornton; her paternal grandparents, Richard and Cody Westcott; her bonus paternal grandparents, Bill and Elaine Dobbs; and her bonus maternal grandparents, Joseph and Marge Hammond.

Amie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 27 years, David Dean Peters; her son Zachary Dean Peters; her mother, Peggy Ilene Dobbs; her father, Calvin H. Westcott; her bonus mom, Lisa Westcott; sisters Debbie Thompson and husband Jimmy; Mindy Dobbs; Tammy Mason; Laura Westcott and brothers Scott Harris Dobbs and Alex Westcott; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She also had an abundance of friends who meant the world to her--she considered them her family.

Visitation was held with the family from 6:00 to 7:00pm on December 21, 2016 in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home, 851 FM 517 Rd. W, Dickinson, Texas 77539.

Funeral services were held at 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate plasma, whole blood, platelets or money to Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center.

Trahan

June Trahan of Sour Lake, died on Saturday December 17, 2016 at Christus Hospital in Beaumont. She was 82.

A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday December 20, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

June was born November 10 1934 in Kountze, to her parents A.R. Fillingim and Leo Davis. she had lived in Sour Lake since 1955 and was an homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Ronnie Trahan brother, Donald Fillingin. Sisters, Lois Shorten, Mary Lou Hutto and Alice Ray.

Survivors are her husband of 64 years Herbert Trahan of Sour Lake; son Timmy Trahan and wife Dana of Sour Lake; and daughter, Teresa "Teri" Trahan of Sour Lake, sister, Doris Snyder of Henderson, NV, and sister in law, Bessie Trahan of Saratoga. Grandson, Gary Trahan of Sour Lake, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends who will miss her very much. The family would like to thank The ICU nurses on the 4th floor for their wonderful care.

Edmondson

Hollis Edward "Butch" Edmondson Jr. of Hull, died on Wednesday December 7, 2016 at his daughters residence in New Caney. He was 73.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Oakdale cemetery in Daisetta with Reverend Jeff Stracner officiating.

Hollis was born September 13, 1943 in Memphis, TN, to Hollis Edward Edmondson Sr. and Mary Louise Reese. He lived in Hull for most of his life and was a retired oilfield and iron worker.

Hollis is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Deborah Edmondson.

He is survived by his son, Hollis Edward Edmondson III and wife Connie of Hull, daughters, Carol Doland and husband Bruce of Vidor, Latonya Stracner and husband Jeff of New Caney, Debbie LeNormand and husband William of Hull, Jerri Willis of Daisetta and DeeAnn Ard and husband Kimmie of Hull, A brother, Billy Wayne Edmondson Sr. and wife Judy of Hull. Hollis is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
