Coleman

If Heaven shapes the destiny of men, then Paul Coleman was born to make men laugh.

This simple guy never stopped being the storyteller and jokester who refused to let us take ourselves too seriously. His infectious sense of humor spread wherever he went.

This uniquely gifted man kept us laughing as he told us what makes us tick. Ridiculing our problems, he reminded us that a human being is distinguished from animals by his ability to laugh.

For 57 years, Paul entertained us with his quick wit, inspired us, and made us see that life can be funny. The world is a better place because Paul Coleman satirized it in his every action.

He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 15, 1959. He moved with his family and lived in several states before moving to Hardin, Texas. He became a Christian when he was young. He was a graduate of Hardin High School, then he joined the United States Air Force, attained the rank of Sergeant, and served ten years as a Jet Engine Mechanic. When he returned home, he worked as a machine operator at Insteel in Dayton, TX for 19 years before going to work for McCoy’s Building Supply also in Dayton, TX.

His Pet Peeve: “people who don’t keep their appointments on time”

His favorite author was Louis L’Amour.

His hobby: Woodworking

He leaves behind, his mother Evelyn Coleman of Hardin, TX, his father Arthur Coleman of Forsythe, MO, a son, Joshua Coleman of Raywood, TX, two brothers, Brent Coleman of Houston, TX, and Chris Coleman of Hampton, VA, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

As the days come and go, so Paul has come and gone. But he left a legacy of humor, good friends, pleasant memories, and other qualities that give life meaning and beauty. The message of his life is that he found humor in ordinary things and unexpected places. Death cannot destroy these things. And that was enough for him.
