Lunceford

Janie Elizabeth Findley "NANIE" Lunceford affectionately known as "NANIE" died on Monday June 20, 2016 at Magnolia Place Health Care in Liberty. She was 82.

She was born December 15, 1933 in Crockett, Texas, to Edgar C. Findley and Maggie Smith Findley.

She had grew up in Hardin, and moved to Liberty, where she had lived most of her life. She was a school teacher for many years. She had also worked as office manager for Zeb Zbranek Law Office in Liberty, and was a member of The Liberty Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Steve Lunceford and wife Terri of Liberty. Daughters, Melissa Wallace and husband Leslie of Liberty, and Staci Copeland and husband William of Dayton. Brother, Richard "Rick" Findley of Moss Hill.

Grandchildren are Kade Turner, Brooks Turner, Bethany Turner, Emily Anne Lunceford, Blake Lunceford, Kelli Lunceford, and Lauren Brooke Patterson. Great - Grandchild 7.

A service of remembrance will be held on Friday June 24, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Liberty Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Cooke cemetery in Liberty.

There will be a gathering of family and friends also on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

Tousha

Shirley Marie Tousha, age 69, of Pasadena, formerly from Hull, TX, died June 22, 2016 with her loving family by her side in Nassau Bay, TX.

Shirley was born July 4, 1946 in Sulphur Springs, TX, daughter of the late Elroy and Leslie Henson. She graduated from Liberty High School and spent twenty plus years in Hull, TX. Shirley worked in the Healthcare Industry caring for the elderly. She loved to cook and go shopping as well as traveling. It was said that she had a magnet for almost every state in the U.S. Shirley enjoyed canning but mostly loved her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Franklin Tousha Sr, son; Franklin Tousha Jr, and sister; Sue Nell Moseley. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons; Tony Tousha and wife Susy of Spring, TX, Toby Tousha and wife Sarah of Humble, TX, daughter; Susan English and husband Mike of Zavala, TX, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services for Shirley Marie Tousha will be Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10 am at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX with burial to follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson, TX. Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm in the chapel of the funeral home.

Smith

Judy M. Blanton Smith, 65, of Coldspring, died Monday, June 20, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Coldspring with burial following at Evergreen cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, June 23, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Coldspring.

Born on March 31, 1951 in Houston, to parents: Bill Blanton and Vera Saddler Blanton, Judy was a former resident of Tarkington Prairie and has resided in Coldspring for the past eight years. A nurturing mother and grandmother, she also enjoyed reading her bible spending time with her grandchildren and working with flowers

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents and sons: James and Joseph Craig. She is survived by her daughters: Scooter Franklin and husband Jack of Coldspring and Julina Smith of Tarkington Prairie and fiancé David Chabert, son: John Craig of Iowa, grandchildren: J.J. Weems, Tiffany Willis and husband Nicholas, Kelly Weems, Megan Schneider and husband Logan, and Shayne Jones, one great-grandchild on the way: Haisley Schneider, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Weaver

Bessie C. Hall Weaver, 87, of Liberty, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at the Magnolia Place Nursing Home in Liberty.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Fairlawn Memorial Park in Liberty. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Bessie was born June 19, 1929 in Farris, Oklahoma, to parents; William and Ollie Seabourn Hall, and has been a resident of the Liberty area for 50 years. She was a florist by trade, taught floral design at Lee College, a speaker for various women’s groups, and church pianist and organist. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing.

Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 70 years: Rev. Harry Joe Weaver, daughter: Barbara LaVonne Hector, brothers: Ernest and Elmer Hall, and sisters: Alma Andsager, Lorene Wade, and Delores Sheffield. She is survived by her daughter: Sandra Ling and husband Terry of China, son: Michael Weaver and fiancé’ Cheryl Welch of Porter, brother: Charles Hall and wife Joyce of Oklahoma, nine grandchildren, Karen Springer and husband Kevin of Conroe, Eddie Hector and wife Virginia of Dayton, Sheila Meade and husband Tim of Kingwood, Angela Norris and husband James of Hardin, Justin Hector of Houston, Marcus Weaver and wife Julie of Batson, Christy Sloane and husband Scott of Porter, Misti LaBorde and husband Brian of Buda, Lindsi Fleming and husband Lee of Liberty; 12 great grandchildren, William Hector, Matthew Meade and wife Natalie, Kati Hill and husband Tony, Kayla Springer, Taylor Dooley and husband Billy, Kaitlin Springer, Jordan Norris, Tyler Norris, Justin Hector, Jonathan Hector, Chase Fleming and Jayda Hector; three great-great grandchildren, Sophia Meade, Madilynn Hill and Sawyer Meade; eight step-grandchildren, Tommy, Regina, Renee, Katherine, Casey, Alivia, Stormy and Haley; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Wilson

Betty Jo Pinkard Wilson, 89, of Liberty, died Monday, June 20, 2016 in Houston.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Graveside services were Monday, June 27, 2016, at the Houston National cemetery in Houston.

Betty was born December 10, 1926 in Richland, to parents; Bill and Pearl Bankston Pinkard, a former resident of Conroe, and has resided in Liberty since 1961. She was a partner in the Nana’s Bo Peep Clothing Store, former employee of City Florist, a member of the Rebekah Lodge, and attended Heights Baptist Church. She also enjoyed crocheting, travel, gardening, and reading.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years: Lonnie Wilson, and brother: Buddy Pinkard. She is survived by her sons: Millard Wilson and wife Denise of Huffman and Allen Wilson and wife Elva of Arizona, daughter: Kathy Koch and husband Chuck of Schulenburg, sisters: Catherine Swink of Alvin and Bobbie Ann King of Spring, grandchildren: Melanie Dietert and husband Dustin, Travis Wilson and wife Lauren, Derek Wilson, Sabrina Wilson, and Raquel Wilson, five great-grandchildren, also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Rageth

Debra “Debbie” Ann Rageth, age 55, of Highlands, TX died Monday, June 20, 2016 in Houston, TX.

Debra was born December 27, 1960 at Pasadena General in Pasadena, TX, daughter of Zeferino Bermea Gallegos and the late Mary Jessie Gallegos. She graduated from Ross Sterling High School in Baytown, TX. Debra married Daniel Rageth on August 28, 1982 in Highlands, Texas. She attended Lee College and soon after began working for San Jacinto Methodist Hospital for twenty-two years in Patient Access. Debra was a devoted wife, loving mother, Nana, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church for many years.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother; Mary Jessie Gallegos, brother; Raul Santos Gallegos, grandfathers; Daniel Santos Chavez, Jesus Maria Ortiz Gallegos, grandmother; Elvira DaValia Bermea Gallegos, father-in-law; Mark Raymer, brothers-in-law; Donnie Rageth and David Rageth. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of thirty-four years; Daniel Rageth of Highlands, TX, daughter; Robbin Kelly and husband Derrick of Baytown, TX, Father; Zeferino Gallegos, sisters; Elizabeth Lalumandier, Monica Terry, brother; Zeffie Gallegos and wife BJ, grandchildren; Alanna Kelly, Kaitlyn Kelly and Derrick Kelly Jr, mother-in-law; Ruth Raymor and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Debra “Debbie” Ann Rageth will be Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 10am in the chapel of Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Road, Highlands, TX under the direction of Allison Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Sterling-White cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm in the chapel at Sterling-White Funeral Home.

Williamson

Dorothy Tullos Grice Williamson, age 87 of Liberty, left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior on June 20, 2016 in Liberty, TX.

Dorothy was born to William Joseph Tullos and Susie Theodocia Stanfield Tullos on August 9, 1928 in Ace, TX.

She was the first born child of eight.

Dorothy was a well loved and devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother and friend of all who knew her.

She was widowed at the early age of thirty-eight and worked hard to make a good life for her three children.

Dorothy was a retired telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and worked for them from the old days of “number please” to the computer days.

She also was retired from the Liberty County Central Appraisal District as their filing clerk.

Dorothy was well known for her sweet personality and the ways that she said what she meant.

She always had words of wisdom to all she knew.

She owed her longevity to having her son, Preston, and his wife, Emelie living with her and giving her the two youngest grandchildren to share every day with her.

She raised her children and grandchildren in the love and admiration of her Lord, Jesus Christ.

She was of the old time Pentecostal faith. She would be sure to tell all the ones she loved to believe in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.

Dorothy knew her home would be in Heaven and she wanted her loved ones to join her there.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Luther Mayes Williamson, brothers; Adrian Earl Tullos, Joseph Kendall Tullos, Thomas Hayden Tullos, and Charles Everett Tullos.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children; Barbara Grice Smart and husband Mervin of Liberty, Susan Elizabeth Grice Borak of Liberty, and William Preston (Bubba) Williamson and wife Emelie of Liberty, sisters; Justine Tullos Oliver, Juanita Tullos Crockett, brother; Donald Gene Tullos, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Services for Dorothy Tullos Grice Williamson will be Friday, June 24, 2016 at 1pm at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX with burial to follow at Ace Community cemetery in Ace, TX. Visitation will be Thursday, June 23, 2015 from 7pm to 9pm in the chapel of the funeral home.

Fisher

Larry Bruce Fisher of Daisetta, Texas, died on Saturday June 18, 2016 at Liberty-Dayton Regional Medical Center. He was 67.

A service of remembrance will be held Thursday June 23, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services with Reverend Jeff Blizzard and Matt Enloe officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday June 22, 2016, also at Faith & Family, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers is the Hull-Daisetta Fire Department, Curt Gartner, Alan Gartner, Lynn Fregia, Justin Gartner, J.T. Smith and Mike Mouton.

Honorary pallbearers are his son-in-laws, Tony Taylor, Tommy Simmons, Mike Poyser and Matt Enloe.

Larry was born August 7, 1948 in Shelbyville, Indiana to Harley Fisher and Juanita Joy. He had lived in Daisetta most of his life and was a retired truck driver.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. He also served with the Hull-Daisetta Fire Department.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley Fisher and Juanita Joy., brother, Ray Earl Fisher., son, Larry Bruce Fisher, Jr. and a daughter, Kimberly Fisher.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Alice Fisher of Daisetta., daughters, Elaine Taylor and husband Tony of Hardin, JoAnn Simmons and husband Tommy of Batson, Brenda Poyser and husband Mike of Churubusco, Indiana, and Monica Enloe and husband Matt of Batson.

Brother, Harley Fisher of North Dakota and sisters, Rita Moore and husband David of Tennessee, Kathy Hanna of North Dakota, Glenda Nichols of Hull, Roselynn Frazier and husband Buddy of Liberty and Connie Dambrino of Indiana.

Grandchildren 16., great grandchildren., 28 and 1 great great grandchild.

Dillon

Iora Lou Guedry Dillon 78 of Silsbee, died on Saturday June 18, 2016 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, with her loving family by her side.

A native of Beaumont, she had lived in Silsbee most of her life and was a retired school teacher. She had taught at Fred Elementary School and West Hardin School in Saratoga. She was a member of The Batson Prairie Baptist Church and had lived at Batson Prairie before moving to Silsbee.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Billy Eugene Dillon, daughter, Bertie Jean Guedry and sister Elaine Lockhart.

Those left to survive her are daughters, Lisa Ward and husband Gary of Silsbee, Karen Graham and husband Lyle of Weatherford. Brothers, Sevan "Jay" Guedry of Batson, Bob Guedry and wife Lesa of Batson, and sister, Aledith Guedry Degaugh of Batson.

Grandchildren are Aaron Ward of Silsbee, Geoffrey Graham, Kevin Graham, and Sheldon Graham all of Weatherford.

A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday June 23, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Batson Prairie Baptist Church with Reverend Lee Gruver officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday June 22, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Batson Prairie Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbearers are Gary Ward, Aaron Ward, Bob Guedry, Jay Guedry, Bubba Guedry, and Jerisan Weaver.
