Parish

Jerry Parish, 67, of Spring, Texas, died with family by his side on June 12, 2016.

He was a resident of Spring for over 30 years. He was one of six children and was born on September 7th, 1948 in Waco, Texas to parents Marvin Eugene Parish and Gnell Williams Parish. Jerry attended Pasadena High School and graduated with the class of 1966. He was employed by Adplex Printing in Houston, Texas and was a very business like man who was dedicated to his job.

Jerry liked travelling to Brenham to visit his sister Joy and her husband and also going to Oklahoma for fishing with his best friend Randall. They were season ticket holders for the Houston Texans and enjoyed going to the games. Jerry was an avid collector of many things from coins to Indian statues to Texans memorabilia.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Gene Earl Parish, Marshall Lee Parish and Garry Don Parish and nephew; Jimmy Druschke. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, sister; Joy Druschke and husband Terry of Brenham, Texas, brother; Boyd Parish and wife Denise of Dayton, Texas, special friends; Randall Cohn and wife Rose, and Ronnie Moran and wife Vicki, his four legged companion; Baby, many nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends. Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5pm to 8pm on Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main Street, Dayton, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16th, 2016 at 10am in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow in Palms Memorial Park in Dayton, Texas.

Cessna

Bobby Glenn Cessna, age 67 of Hardin, passed away at his residence on June 12, 2016 in Hardin, TX.

Bobby was born October 12, 1948 in Liberty, TX, son of the late Edwin and Dorothy Faulk Cessna. He graduated from Hardin High School and then went on and received his degree from Stephen F. Austin University. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Bobby worked in the oilfield industry for Texaco Oil for twenty-five years before retiring.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, brothers; John Cessna and wife Darla of Bullard, TX, Don Cessna and wife Mary Jane of Lufkin, TX, and Alfred Marvin Cessna and wife Betty of Alvin, TX.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX.

Townsend

Daniel David Townsend Jr, age 83 of Centerville, TX, died June 8, 2016 in Lufkin, TX.

Daniel was born October 20, 1932 in Dayton, TX, son of the late Daniel Townsend Sr and Edna Izard Townsend. Daniel served in the U.S. Navy for four years and then worked for forty-five years as a directional drilling supervisor. He worked for twenty-five on a platform in the North Sea as well as several others countries. Daniel retired from Baker-Hughes. Daniel was a member of the NRA and loved to hunt and fish. He also loved to ride his tractor and mow. Daniel enjoyed sitting on his porch drinking coffee and watching the sunrise but mostly loved his family and job.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, sons; Steven and Hugh Townsend, granddaughter; Cara Townsend and sister; Betty Johnson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of sixty years; Edith Townsend of Centerville, TX, daughters; Sharon Overstreet of Centerville, TX, Laurie Woodhead and husband Joe of San Leon, TX, daughter-in-law; Gay Townsend of Humble, TX, sister; Sue Passmore and husband Kennie of Broaddus, TX, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services for Daniel David Townsend Jr will be Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 5pm at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX. Cremation service has been entrusted to Allison Funeral Service.

Rodriguez

Pete Rodriguez, 83, of Dayton, Texas died June 7th, 2016. He was born June 27th, 1932 in Dayton, Texas to Tizro & Angelia Regiña Rodriguez.

He was one of nine children, and had a strong relationship with his siblings making sure to give them a phone call every day and check on them. Pete was a generous soul who always had a smile on his face and was willing to help anyone however he could. He was a family man who loved all of his nieces and nephews and sometimes even took on the role babysitter for them. Pete spent most of his life working in construction and was last employed at Joe Boys Mechanic Shop. He was a member of Liberty Church of Christ. Pete had a friendly personality and was very outgoing. He enjoyed getting out of his house everyday so that he could go make his rounds at the stores in town. For fun he would like to go to the casinos and watch horseracing, people play dominoes and travelling to Madisonville, Texas for family events. Percy Lee and Esque Jenkins would take him to go fishing, crabbing and hunting all in which he thoroughly enjoyed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Guadalupe Rodriguez, Maria Olige, Martha Jenkins, Manuel Rodriguez, Domingo Rodriguez, Johnnie Wright, and Tonie Rodriguez and brother-in-law; Esque Jenkins.

He is survived by his sisters; Margie Jordan and Jessie Rodgers, special friends; Luke St. Julian, Joseph “Joe Boy” St. Julian, Annie St. Julian and extended friend; Joe Mouton and many nieces and nephews. Pete will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5pm until 8pm on Friday, June 10th 2016 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main Street, Dayton, Texas and from 9am to 11am on Saturday, June 11th 2016 at Liberty Church of Christ located at 3201 N. Main St. in Liberty, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11am also at the Liberty Church of Christ. A graveside service will immediately follow in Palms Memorial Park in Dayton.

Harwell

Betty Lynn Harwell 53 of Hardin, died on Sunday June 5, 2016 with her family by her side.

A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday June 9, 2016 at 10:00A.M. at Hardin United Methodist Church with Reverend Gideon Watson officiating. Cremation to follow service.

Serving as pallbearers are Robert Harwell, Thomas Harwell, Saul Wilkerson, Ethan Harwell, Dustin Beasley and David Devers. her grandchildren who she loved and cared for very much will be her honorary pallbearers.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday June 8, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the church.

A native of Houston, she had lived in Hardin, many years and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Kainer and brother, Tommy Williams.

Survivors are husband, Jimmy Harwell of Hardin; sons, Robert Harwell and wife Lora of Hardin; Thomas Harwell and wife Shayla of Hardin. Daughters, Sarah Beasley and husband Dustin of Hardin; and Kasandra Wilkerson and husband Saul of Daisetta. Brother, Jimmy Davis of Cypress, TX, and sister, Connie West of Atascocita, and numerous other family members and friends.

Grandchildren are Zachary Harwell, Kyle Harwell, of Hardin, Chasity and Cassidy Harwell both of Hardin. Also John, James, Olivia, Joseph, Emily, Erin, Landon, Jordan, Allyson, Caliber, Avery, Addalynn, and David. Great grandchildren are Everleigh and Emmirson.

Service of remembrance under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. 40847 Hwy 105 E. Batson, Texas 77519.

Delcambre

Jerry Allen Delcambre, 66, resident of Dayton, Texas died Thursday, June 2, 2016 in Liberty, Texas.

He was born on April 7, 1950 in Jennings, Louisiana to Joseph and Luta Belle Istre Delcambre. Jerry loved spending as much time as he could fishing, hunting and taking trips on his motorcycle. He was outgoing, was always happy, full of life and living life to the fullest. Jerry was a good ole boy who could and would tell you a life story when asked a simple question, sometimes the stories could be completely useless of the question asked. One his hobbies included spending time on his back porch with his truck driving buddies rambling on for hours.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter Christy Marie Delcambre. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 44 years Faye Daley Delcambre; his sons Joseph R. Delcambre and Shannon L. Delcambre; his daughter Monica M. Delcambre Croft; his 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his sisters Barbara Delcambre Leger and Roberta Gillie; his brothers Joe Trahan and Albert Trahan; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A graveside service and committal will be held at 10am on Saturday, June 11, 2016 in Magnolia Park cemetery in Dayton, Texas. Honoring the family and serving as pallbearers will be Derrick Kaluza, Darren Kaluza, Lane Newman, Timmy Martin, Jeff Brett and Lee Shields.

Sellers

Virgil Goldman Sellers, 80, resident of Dayton, Texas, died at his home on Saturday, June 4, 2016.

He was born on June 29, 1935 in Northport, Alabama to Goldman and Mary Smith Sellers. After graduating from high school, Virgil honored his country by joining the United States Army. During his time in the Army, Virgil was a truck driver during the Korean Conflict era.

Virgil was a member of Whispering Meadows Baptist Church. He was involved in the gospel choir at the church and would often sing solo or as a duo with his wife Bonnie. He had many hobbies some of which included hunting in his earlier years, fishing, playing his harmonica and singing. Virgil also loved the woods, children and all animals. The Dayton PD would often drop stray animals off at Virgil’s home. He was very witty, loved to laugh a lot and tease by picking on his wife. Virgil will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Virgil was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers Ernest Gaython Sellers, Wayne Nolan Sellers and Franklin Leon Sellers. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 33 years Bonnie Prince Sellers; his children Delores Sellers, Kenneth Sellers, Nakomi Joseph Stone, Clifford Paul Stone and Lil E. Stone Leath and husband David; his six grandchildren plus extended grandchildren Michael Joseph Stone, Dallas and Dakota Stone, Austin Stone, Chasity Stone and Randall Eric Stone; his two great-grandchildren and great-granddaughter Kloey Paige Stone; his sisters Shirley Sellers Walton of Spring, Texas and Mary Frances Sellers of Spring, Texas; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services and interment will be held in Tuscaloosa, Alabama at a later date.

Ford

Arthur Lee Ford Jr. 32 of Winnie formerly of Anahuac died May 22, 2016.

Services are Saturday, Jun. 04, 2016 at Lilly of The Valley COGIC 1222 N. Main St. Anahuac, TX. Visitation will begin at 12Noon until funeral at 2 P.M.. Interment will be in Godfrey cemetery, Wallisville, TX.

He loved his family dearly, and he leaves behind to cherish his memories: parents Martha and Arthur Ford Sr. His fiancé Rushana Finnex. 6 children Mylasia, Amaya and Arianna Ford, Jaylon Jones, Ava, and Dajia Finnex, 1 sister: Sybil Suarez, 3 brothers: Henry Carrington, Darrell Ford (Victoria) and Horace Ford (Wendy). Grandfather Winston Roy, 5 Aunts: Berneice Jackson, Debra Smith Vickie Lewis and Theresa and Venita Ford. 3 uncles: Percy Robinson, Dennis and David Ford and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Ford’s services have been entrusted to Proctor's Mortuary (Locations in Anahuac, Beaumont, Silsbee and Woodville, TX.) .

Crenshaw

Brenda Fay Crenshaw, 58, of Porter, Texas, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in Humble, Texas.

She was born January 22, 1958 in Pasadena, Texas to Raphael and Nellie Louise Locke Beaubouef. Brenda graduated from Channelview High School and married her first husband of 29 years, Grover Vervil Johnson.

Brenda spent the first part of her married life as a homemaker and stay at home mom. She worked in various jobs from a bank in Huffman, a correctional officer in Liberty and KBR for 16 years in Log Cap 3 division processing all overseas contracts. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed making sure everyone was taken care of in her family. Some of Brenda’s hobbies included anything Texans, outdoors and barbeque, sitting and watching the rain.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children Beau Johnson and fiancé Penny Callaway of Huffman, Texas, Amie Johnson of Porter, Texas and Eric Crenshaw of Porter, Texas; her granddaughter Priscilla Johnson; her sisters Sharon McCarron of Dayton, Texas, Patricia Porter of Kentucky, Belinda Martin and husband Dalton Augustus of Houston, Texas, Carla Crump Farrell of Fort Worth, Texas and Neldia Ahlquist of Angleton, Texas; her husband of 29 years Grover Vervil Johnson; her former husband of 15 years Kerry Duane Crenshaw; and numerous other loving family members and friends. Brenda will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2pm until 6pm on Sunday, June 5, 2016 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home located at 602 North Main Street, Dayton, Texas. Brenda’s wishes were to be cremated and later be laid to rest at Brookside Memorial Park in Houston.

McNeill

Jacquiline Louise McNeill 23 of Liberty, died on Monday May 23, 2016 in Houston.

She was born on March 6, 1993 in Nassau Bay, TX to James Robert McNeill Jr. and Jessica Yvonne McNeill. Jacquiline was a brave and beautiful soul. She would give the shirt off of her back, and was a bold voice for anyone who needed it.

She was the center of many lives and often the center of attention. Jacquiline will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Evelyn Keel and grandfather, James Robert McNeill Sr.

She is survived by her beautiful daughter LakLyn Rayne Ford McNeill of Liberty, her mother Jessica Yvonne McNeill, of Liberty, and her father James Robert McNeill Jr. of Alvin.

Brothers are Christopher Brown, and James Dee McNeill and daughter in law Barbie both of Liberty, sister, Kirstin Delaine McNeill of Houston, and paternal grandmother Theda Louise McNeill of Alvin.

Uncles and aunts are Kenny and Jeane Burns of Alvin, James and Tammie Sue Wallette of Alvin, Jacky Ford Keel of Liberty, and Jack W. Eatmon of Beaumont, niece Tori and nephew D.J .both of Liberty. Very close family friend Tammy Cirilo of Liberty, and other numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of loving and caring friends who will miss her very much.

She will also be missed by her best friends Lexi Rayne Meche of Liberty, Angelina Gonzales of Liberty, Kylie Jackson of Liberty and Shelby Linscomb of Highlands.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mental Health America of Southeast Texas 505 Orleans Street Beaumont, Texas, 77701.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday June 4, 2016 2:00 P.M. at New Life Church in Batson, with cremation to follow. Reverend Bill Campbell officiating.

Serving as pallbearers are James Robert McNeill Jr. Christopher Brown, James D. McNeill, Dustin Kirkley, James Wallette and Jacky Ford Keel.

There will be a gathering of family and friends also on Saturday June 4, 2016 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at New Life Church of Batson.
