Deborah Gaye Gibson Burt, 59, of Conroe, died Friday, May 13, 2016, at the M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, at the Palms Memorial Park cemetery in Dayton with burial following thereafter. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Deborah was born December 29, 1956 in Houston, to parents; Lawrence Gibson and Ocey Martin, and was a former resident of the Cleveland-Dayton area. She was a homemaker and attended the River of Life in Cleveland. She also enjoyed reading, trivia games, watching her programs, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Burt was preceded in death by her mother: Ocey Martin Scott, sons: Billy and Brandon Burt, sister: Connie McCants, brother-in-law: Johnny Massey, and nephew: Holton Kennedy. She is survived by her daughter: Wendy Fritts and husband Jerry of Conroe, father: Lawrence Gibson and wife Verna of Pasadena, brother: Larry Gibson and wife Pam of Woodville, sisters: Patricia Massey of Huffman, Peggy Gibson of Beaumont, grandchildren: Jacoby Gibson, Thomas Fritts, Alyssa Fritts, Timothy Burt, and Bradley Burt, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
White
Bobby Thomas White, age 80 of Liberty died May 10, 2016 in Houston, TX.
Bobby was born January 2, 1936 in Willis Point, TX, son of the late Angus Edward and Clara Browder White. He graduated from Beaumont High School in 1954 and then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Lamar University in 1958. He served in the Army, specifically the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from 1955 to 1984 and then continued service with the 808th Engineering Brigade out of Pasadena, Texas until 1996 when he officially retyired from the military. Bobby worked as a civil engineer with Binkley and Barfield until his retirement. He was a member of the Lions Club for fifty plus years, Texas Society of Professional Engineers, and Society of American Military Engineers. Bobby was proud of his job and his service with the Liberty Lions Club, especially working with the Liberty Panthers football programs. He enjoyed watching Law & Order, reading and was very proud member of the Lamar Alumni.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Frankie Beatrice White, son; Thomas Arthur White, brothers; Charles White and William Edward White. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters; Nancy Worley of Mont Belvieu, Sarah White of Mont Belvieu, son; Samuel White of Dayton, sister; Robbie Christiansen of Houston, grandchildren; Taylor Beatrice and Jonathen Thomas White, and Erin Lee Worley and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Bobby Thomas White will be Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX.
Matyear
Bradley L. “Brad” Matyear, 60, of Liberty, died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at the Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Liberty Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Liberty Church of Christ, with graveside services at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Sweeny cemetery in Sweeny. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Brad was born August 24, 1955 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Charles and Alyce Young Matyear. He was a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Liberty for the past 23 years. He was a graduate of the Sweeny High School class of 1973, received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Texas A & M University in 1978, a chemical engineer by trade, an Eagle Scout, and Assistant Scout Master for Troop #208, Baytown. He was employed as a Liberty I.S.D. teacher and bus driver, and operated the train at Astroworld following his engineering career. Brad also enjoyed camping, fishing, genealogy, traveling, and animals.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years: Deborah L. “Debbie” Williams Matyear of Liberty, daughter: Bradlynn Louise Matyear of Liberty, son: Bryan Layne Matyear of Liberty, brother: Charles R. “Randy” Matyear and wife Cindy of San Antonio, numerous other relatives, friends, and his rescue dogs: Bella Rose, Bandit, and Gizmo.

Follis Clark Wood, 84, of Hardin, passed away on Friday May 6, 2016 at his residence.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Hardin Chapel cemetery with Reverend Jeff Day officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are Brian Wood, Brandon Wood, Ryan Wood, Austin Wood, Jason Smith and Mark Tauber. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Jones and Andrew Wood.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services.
Follis was born on January 23, 1932 to Edward and Vera Wood. He was employed in the Oil and Gas industry for most of his life. He was a Mason and had moved from Kentucky in 1969 and has been in Hardin, every since.
Follis is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Vera Wood, and son, Andy Wood. Brothers, Kenneth Wood and Bill Wood.
Survivors include his wife Ida Wood, of Hardin, Son, Mark Wood and wife Marie of San Antonio. Daughter, Cindy Wood of Hardin, and brother, Wallace Wood and wife Rosa of Greenville, Kentucky. Sister, Patty Mathis and husband Tubby of Waynesboro, TN.
Grandchildren are Brian Wood, Brandon Wood, Ryan Wood, and Austin Wood. Great grandchildren are Andrew Wood, Marcus Wood, Landon Wood, Sierra Wood, and Logan Wood.

Edna Burch Anderson, 63, of Dayton, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Liberty, Texas.
A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at Bibleway Pentecostal Church, with Brother Jim Cain and Brother Adolph Johnson officiating, with internment to follow at Hillside cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends before the service also on Wednesday morning from 9:00 A.M. till time of service at Bibleway Pentecostal Church.
Edna was born on May 28, 1952 to Bay and Helen Burch. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Aaron Burch, James Burch, Jimmy Burch, a sister; Barbara Burch. and a spouse, Roland Anderson.
Edna was employed as a Timekeeper by Brown and Root. She loved to be the Life of the party, as was sometimes "the monkey of the crowd". She collected clocks, and dolls with fancy dresses and she loved to travel.
Edna's survivors include her brothers; Shelton Burch and wife Marla of Dayton, Dennis Burch and wife Diana of Liberty, John Burch of Liberty, Lester Burch and wife Etta of Liberty, Oscar Burch of Liberty, and Loryie "Buddy" Burch and wife Vidor of Liberty.
Sister, Brenda Jackson and husband William of Dayton, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces numerous great nephews.

Billie Marie Wiggins Clement 88, of La Ward, Texas, formerly of Sour Lake, died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Port Lavaca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Sour Lake, with Reverend Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Davis cemetery of Beulah Springs in Jasper County.
Serving as pallbearers are Donnie Tristan, Trey Tristan, Bobbie DeWess, Shane Haygood, David Clements and Gabriel Ramirez.

Billie was born December 2, 1927 to Claude Edward and Addie Mae Kelley in Blox, Texas. She was the leader of her ladies auxilary club at her church.
She was a life long resident of Texas, and was a member of the La Ward United Pentecostal Church. Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Clement; her parents, Claude Edward and Addie Mae Kelley. Brothers; Joe Edward Kelley, Jim Kelley and sister, Pat Pharis.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Wiggins and wife Pat of Groves, Michael Wiggins and wife Becky of La Ward, Glynn Clement and wife Polly of Winnie, and David Clement and wife Marion of Kingwood.
Daughters are Tina Marie Murphy of Sour Lake, Paula Votaw of Sour Lake, Sharon Shanell of Oklahoma City, Roxanne Haygood and husband Shane of Sour Lake, Darlene Tristan and husband Donnie of La Ward, Kathy Bertrand of Winnie, Belinda Rigbsy and husband Norman of Winnie.

Tanton
Bobby Joe Tanton of Liberty, died on Tuesday May 3, 2016 at Magnolia Place Health Care. he was 66.
A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday May 5, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel with Reverend Donald Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Hardin Chapel cemetery in Hardin.

A native and lifelong resident of Liberty, Bobbie had worked as a Oilfield Worker for Deep South Drilling.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary "Curly" Tanton, parents, Henry and Gladys Tanton. Brothers, Jesse Tanton, Frank "Cooter" Tanton and Henry Don Tanton.
Survivors are sons, Teddy Tanton and wife Lisa of Liberty, and Steven Tanton of Conroe. Brother, Bill Tanton of Hardin. Sisters are Betty Cotten of Batson, Velea Whitmire of Batson, Becky Laird and husband Robert of Hankamer, and Lillian Marcontell of Dayton.
Grandchildren are Donovan Tanton, Jacob Tanton and Matthew Tanton. Great Grandchildren are Adelynne Tanton and Ryan Tanton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kirk
Bobby Joe Kirk, 61, of Dayton died Thursday, May 5, 2015 in Baytown, Texas.
Mr. Kirk was born June 18, 1954 in Houston, Texas to parents, Arvel Lloyd Kirk and Eva Irene Kirk. He had been a resident of Dayton for the past 20 years after moving from Houston. Bobby was a self-employed truck driver and he loved to go fishing and cooking.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Irene Kirk, brother, Arvel Lloyd Kirk, Jr., and his niece Tonya Kirk. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary Kirk of Dayton; father, Arvel Lloyd Kirk and stepmother, Patricia Kirk; son, Steven Summers of Dayton, sister, Patricia; brothers, James Edward Kirk, Frankie Kirk, and Robert Kirk; grandchildren, Jeffrey Summers of San Diego and Patrick Summers of San Marcos; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Anderson
Shaquille Deamon Anderson, 22, died Sunday, May 8, 2016 in Liberty Texas.
He was born on October, 29, 1993 in Baytown, Texas to Joseph E. Anderson and Lisa Papillion Green. Shaq was the only child of Lisa and was raised with his cousins as his brothers and sisters.
He was raised to be humble and kind to everyone that he met. He was a 2012 graduate of Liberty High School where he graduated with honors. Shaquille was part of the LHS choir and LHS Varsity Basketball Team. He was a recipient of a four year scholarship from Walmart. He also received a choir scholarship to San Jac, where he attended and graduated with honors in 2015. Once he graduated, he was given an opportunity to have an internship with Chevron Chemical in Pasadena, Texas. After six months went by, Shaquille was hired in as a Process Operator. He was a much respected young man in the county and was a friend to all whom he met. Shaq never got into trouble and was a very hard worker. Shaquille accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, living his life as a Christian, setting an example for others. He was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Hardy, his uncle. He was also a member of the church’s praise team.
Shaquille loved to play basketball on any given day. On a Wednesday night you would find him and his cousin’s at North Main Baptist Church shooting some hoops. He loved sports and had recently taken up golfing. He was a die-hard Colts fan and loved his Houston Rockets and Houston Astros.
Shaquille is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ozeya Papillion, and brother, Joseph E. Anderson. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother; Lisa Green and husband Jeremy, his father; Joseph Anderson and wife Tomika, significant other; Ashton Hugaboon, siblings; Barry Leger, Jolea Anderson, Brandi Anderson, Isyss Anderson, Justin Arrington, and Stevasha Hughey. Maternal grandmother; Angelina Papillion, paternal grandmother; Mary Achan, aunts; Laura Semien and husband Michael, Kathy Mouton, and Liz Hardy and husband Edwin, uncles; Patrick Papillion and wife Ann, and David Papillion and wife Barbara, godparents; David Papillion and Nikki Papillion, and a host of loving cousins and friends. Shaq will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He was what his family would call a perfect child that a mother would want to have. He will be remembered by his smile, wit and charm.

Boatman
Peggy Marie Boatman, 76, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Conroe, Texas.
She was born April 29, 1940 in Corsicana, Texas to William Horace Ward and Thelma Levonia Shue. She spent her life working as a waitress and was a happy go lucky kind of gal. Peggy was the backbone of her family, serving as a mother figure to everyone. She enjoyed making sure everyone was taken care of and cooking huge meals for her family. Some of Peggy’s hobbies included fishing and tending to her garden.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, William Horace Ward, Jr., and Virgil Davis Ward; sister, Wonda LeBlanc; daughter, Cynthia Lynn Lane; and son, Jeremiah Isreal Harris. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Janise McAfee of Lavalle, Wisconsin; and Sharon Fournerat of Shepherd, Texas; sisters, Rhoda Gregory and husband James of Baytown, Texas; and Beverly McAdams of Baytown, Texas; grandchildren, Tobian Ivins & wife Araceli, Kelsey McAfee, Charles Fournerat, Brandie Fournerat and Brenda Fournerat; great-grandchildren, Nathan Kissinger, Jr., Jeremiah Kissinger, Jasmine Kissinger, Kalista Fournerat, Dagan Lashure, Xander Fournerat, Alex Ivins, Liam Ivins, Madison Scott, Logan O’Brien and Laci Williford and a host of friends.
