Mobley

John Roy "John Boy" Mobley of Daisetta, died on Monday April 25, 2016 at his residence. He was 66.

A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday April 28, 2016 at 10:00A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. with Reverend Connie Brothers Tousha and Reverend Phil Baragas officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

Serving as pallbearers are Melton Bishop II, Mikey Mobley, Derrick Mobley, Cody Mobley, Tyler Schnarrs and Clayton Hanks. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Mobley, Deven Adams, and Lance Lowe.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday April 27, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

A native of Kountze, he had lived in Daisetta, most of his life and had worked as a oilfield worker and truck driver for C & L Vacuum Service of Daisetta. He was also a member of Community church of Hull.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Lee Mobley, parents, Bailey Mobley and Sue Howell Mobley. Daughter, Sandra Mobley, granddaughter, Carmen Catlin and grandson, Justin Allred. Sister, Pat Ford and brothers, David Mobley, Billy Mobley and Edward Mobley.

Survivors are sons, Mike Mobley and wife Lisa of Katy, Jessie Mobley and wife Renee of El Campo, Derrick Mobley and wife Cathy of Anahuac, and Edward Mobley of Daisetta.

Daughter, Debra Fregia and husband Lynn of Daisetta, and close family member and loving caregiver Shannon Mobley of Daisetta.

Brothers, Eugene Mobley of Tueplo, MS, Milton Mobley, Randy Mobley, Ronnie Mobley, and Mike Mobley all of Marshall. Sisters, Nelda Elliott, Carol Elliott, Jo Shelton all of Longview, and Brenda Howell and Sheila Jones both of Tyler.

Grandchildren: 21 and Great Grandchildren: 24 and a host of loving and caring friends and other family members who will miss him very much.

Bracewell

Carl Valencia Bracewell Jr, age 85 of Liberty, died April 25, 2016 at his residence.

Carl was born August 17, 1930 in Groves, TX son of the late Carl Valencia Bracewell Sr and Murtie Elora Norris Bracewell. He graduated from Thomas-Jefferson High School. Carl served in the U.S. Army and served his Nation in the Korean War. He worked as a shipping superintendent for Texas Gulf Sulpher and retired after working for thirty-seven years. In his earlier years he was a member of the Joe Blake & Pals bar-b-que team which he enjoyed. He loved playing cards but especially loved his family.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Audrey Cope Bracewell, brothers; LeeRoy, Vernon, Eugene, Max John and David Bracewell, and sisters; Maxine Smith, Anne Skaggs and Carolyn Maddox. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, sons; Mike Bracewell & wife Brenda of Hardin, Terry Bracewell & wife Debbie of Conroe, Richard Bracewell & wife Cathi of Needville, daughters; Karla Vinson & husband Kenneth of Baytown, Judy Strokos of Liberty, brother; Barney Bracewell of Dayton, sisters; Louise Quimby of Liberty, Dorothy Nugent of Liberty, grandchildren; Kristi & Kenny Vinson, Nicole Maloy, Jeremy, Michael, Chris & Jeffery Bracewell, Amy Carey, Thersa Krobot, Ashley, Jarrod & Jennifer Strokos and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Services for Carl Valencia Bracewell Jr will be Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10am at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX with burial to follow at Liberty Catholic cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 5pm to 8pm in the chapel of Allison’s.

Carlisle

Joyce A. “Tina” Carlisle, 54, of Spring Branch, died Saturday, April 23, 2016, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Joyce was born April 7, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland, to parents; William “Bill” Klinghoffer and Sandra Hall, a former resident of Dayton, and has resided in Spring Branch for the past 11 years. She was a graduate of the Channelview High School class of 1981, a phlebotomist for Quest Diagnostics, and member of the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Carlisle is survived by her husband Aaron Lex Carlisle of Spring Branch, sons: Scot Carlisle and wife Juanita of Floresville, Christopher Carlisle and wife Becky of Pasadena and Micah Carlisle and wife Tori of Dayton, mother: Sandra Hall Dragg and husband James “Jim” of San Antonio, sisters: Brenda Sester of Alabama, Barbara “Bobbie” Anazalone of Katy, and Linda Ledoux of Clear Lake, grandchildren: Destiny Carlisle, Jasmine Carlisle, Brielle Carlisle, and Jude Carlisle, Easton Elliott, Harper Carlisle, Caleb Carlisle, Jay Hernandez, Carlos Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez, Cheyenne Carlisle, and Joslin Carlisle, goddaughter: Lilly Cervantes, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Finley

Harvey Hampton Finley Jr. age 41 died Friday April 22, 2016 in Houston, Texas.

Harvey was known to many as, “Lil Harvey”, ” Junior”, ” J.R.” and “J”, no matter how you knew him, or what you called him, he will be lovingly remembered. J.R. was born in Huntsville, Texas May 7, 1974 the son of Harvey Hampton Finley Sr. and Beverly Kay Moore Finley. He was a graduate of North Shore High School where he played in the band. At his graduation, as his name was called, the entire student body as well as guests, and families in attendance, honored him with a standing ovation. He loved sports; he had an encyclopedic knowledge of his favorite teams. He was passionate about his Astros, Texans, Rockets, and especially his beloved University of Texas Longhorns. At a younger age J.R. participated in the Special Olympics as well as played with the “Hot Wheels” wheelchair basketball team. J.R. also enjoyed playing dominos and watching game shows. He never spoke an ill word about anyone, and will be remembered for his patience and intellect.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles “Bill” Moore and Ethelyne Moore and his paternal grandparents, Arnold “A.W.” Finley and Nora Lou Finley. He also was preceded by a special great uncle, Arley John Finley.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents Harvey and Beverly Finley of Hardin, brother Charles Finley and wife Rebecca of Katy, sister Amy Ann Finley Hunt of Houston, aunts Marsha DeDear and husband Vernon of Liberty, Janice Smith of Hardin, Carol Addison and husband Bob of Grand Prairie, uncle Butch Moore and wife Debra of Liberty. He also leaves his nieces and nephews, Matthew Finley, Zachary Finley, Bradley Finley, Madison Hunt, and Austin Hunt.

Visitation for J.R. will be held Monday April 25, 2016 from 5-8 P.M. at Hardin Baptist Church. Funeral Services to be held 2 P.M. Tuesday April 26, 2016 at Hardin Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Hines to officiate. Burial to follow in Finley cemetery.

Fowler

Mrs. Walter Jean “Baby Ruth” Cheatham - Fowler 81, of Silsbee, TX died Apr. 13, 2016.

Services will be Apr. 23, 2016, at St. John Baptist Church, 480 Bonner St., Silsbee, TX. Visitation will begin at 10AM until funeral at 11 AM. Interment will be in Hickory Grove cemetery, Silsbee, TX.

Cherishing her memories are children: Joseph Fowler, Mary Sapp (Herbert), Martha Fowler, Gaynail Lyles (Eddie), and Omaster Fowler (Faye), 2- sisters, 2- brothers and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Olson

Joseph "Joey" Lowell Olson 22 of Kountze, died Monday April 4, 2016 in Many, LA.

A service of remembrance will be held on Friday April 8, 2016 at 10:00A.M. at Bethel Baptist Church of Kountze with Pastor Randall Jennings officiating. Interment will follow at Old Hardin cemetery in Kountze.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday April 7, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Bethel Baptist Church of Kountze.

Joey was born in Baytown, TX, on April 7, 1993. He had lived in Kountze for 9 years and was a graduate of Lumberton, High School. He enjoyed playing his guitar listening, playing and singing along to his favorite country music. He also loved riding his bike.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Ann Helm, Betty Jean Traywick Harr, and Dale Patrick Harr, and sister, Michelle Renee Olsen. Aunts, Wanda Kirk, Bobbie Joanne Harr, and Tammy Renee Franklin.

Survivors are his parents, Stephen and Billie Olson of Kountze. God parents, Henry and Sharon Warden of Kountze. Sister, Jennifer Mae Olson of Kountze and half sister, Stephanie Olson of Pasadena. Aunts, Jackie Lytle of Many, LA, Mary Coglianese and husband Rick of Pasadena, Judy Neal of Sarasota, FL, and Cathy Olson of Santa Fe. Uncles, Rick Lytle of Many LA, and Robert Olson of Santa Fe, and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends who will miss him very much.

Lee

Gwyn Hulda Dean Lee 80, of Saratoga, died Monday April 4, 2016, at her residence.

A service of remembrance will be held on Friday April 8, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services with Reverend Nathan Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow at Old Hardin cemetery in Kountze.

Serving as pallbearers are Ollie Hendrix III, William Deets Jr. Brian Taylor, Clint Hendrix Jr. Robert Hendrix Jr. David Chase Hendrix and Charles Sigger.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday April, 7, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

She was born November 26, 1935 in Saratoga, to Sam Gerald Walker and Marguette Rynes. She had lived in Sour Lake, most of her life before moving to Saratoga. She had worked as a Nutrionist at Kountze Nursing Center for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lee. Son, Robert Hendrix Sr. and sister, Carolyn Stutts.

Survivors are sons, Ollie Ray Hendrix Jr. and wife Rhonda of Saratoga, Clint Hendrix Sr. and wife Debra of Saratoga, Quint Hendrix and wife Miranda of Saratoga, and David Hendrix and wife Sandra of Kountze. Daughter, Margie Bellair of Rye. Sister, Eddalee Brown and husband Russell of California.

Grandchildren: 13 and Great grandchildren: 16.

Studensky

Rosalie Ellen Tywater Studensky of Hull, Texas, died on Sunday April 10, 2016 at harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

A service of remembrance will be held Thursday April 14, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith and Family Funeral Services with Reverend Allen Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Moss Hill cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Bubba Studensky, Terry Lucas, Andrew Marberry, Alex Crawford, Buddy Bishop and David Crouthers. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Marberry, Ty Tywater and Troy Alford.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday April 13, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. also at Faith and Family.

Rosalie was born May 11, 1945 to Alfred Tywater and Ruby Echols Tywater in Orange, Texas. She was a Beautician and owned her own Beauty shop. She lived in Hull for 63 years and attended the Lighthouse church of Moss Hill. She loved to cook, she loved QVC, eat and hair styling.

Rosalie is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Ruby Tywater.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Studensky., sons, Michael Studensky and wife Regina of Hull and John Wesley Studensky and wife Jade of Hull., brother, Robert Tywater and wife Dorothy of Orange., sisters, Patsy Lucas and husband Pat of Moss Hill and Shirley Broussard and husband Robert of Hardin., grandchildren, Rachel Davis, Harlie Studensky, Lesa Renee Studensky, John Wesley Studensky II and Alex and Alexus Crawford., great grandchildren, J.J. Davis, Madison Studensky and Braidain McCall.

Carouthers

James Terrell Carouthers of Batson died on Tuesday April 5, 2016 at his residence in Batson surrounded by his loving family and a host of caring friends of his community. He was 53.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday April 9, 2016 at 11:00 A. M. at Daisetta United Pentecostal Church, with Reverend Wayne Collins and Reverend Aaron DeLaughter officiating. Cremation to follow.

Serving as pallbearers are Andy Coots, Brent Coots, Collin Bryant, Chris Carouthers, Trever Hanks, and Matt Granger. Honorary pallbearers are Garrett Bryant, Isaac Bryant, and Jonathan Bryant.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday April 8, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Daisetta, United Pentecostal Church.

James was born in Liberty, TX, September 2, 1962 to Willie Gene Carouthers and Rose Mary Zaruba. He had lived in Batson, most of his life and was a Enviromental Operator for Scaltech Inc. of Houston. He was a member of New Life United Pentecostal Church, of Liberty.

He was also owner and operator of J.C.'s Woodworks of Batson, where he was a Wood Worker by trade. He dearly loved taking someone under his wing and teaching them his trade if they were willing to learn. He was a man of great faith and was always optimistic regardless of his condition or circumstances.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Mary Zaruba Carouthers. Brothers, W.G. "Dub" Carouthers, and Larry Carouthers, and nephew, Charles "Chuck" Sanders.

Survivors are his wife, Lillian "Lea" Carouthers of Batson, Father, Willie Gene Carouthers of Batson. Daughter, Summer Bryant and husband James of Cleveland, and brother, Joe W. Carouthers of Baytown .Sisters, Irene Moor of Dayton, and Kathy Nelson of League City, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of loving and caring family members and friends

His grandchildren whom he loved very much are, Garrett Bryant of Jayess, MS, Isaac, Sophia, and Jonathan Bryant of Cleveland.
