Alice BeBall Singleton of Batson, died Friday March 11, 2016 at Methodist Hospital.in Baytown. She was 76.

Alice aka Beball would like you to know that on March 11, 2016 her work here was done. In an instant, a blink of an eye she was absent from her body and present with the Lord. She was greeted by the love of her life, D.C (Zeke) Singleton.

She was born in Tenaha, Texas, to Genell and Robert Ables on June 16th 1939. She moved to Batson Texas in 1961 where she soon started receiving bouquets of roses daily with the card only signed with a big “Z” like Zorro. She soon learned “Z” stood for Zeke and their love story began.

Her granddaughter put it so perfectly “Beball was the best of the best. She served everyone her entire life. She put everyone before herself. She gave even when she had nothing to give. She loved everyone truly with all her heart and all God’s creatures. If she said she loved you …she loved you. We are who we are because of you” She made a difference in the lives of many.
