Rhoden

Reba Mae Rhoden of Hull, Texas died on Monday November 30, 2015 at Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown. She was 76.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday December 5, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services with Reverend Kitty Key officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday December 4, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

A native of Liberty, she was born November 28, 1939 to Albert Budro and Marie Thrasher. She had lived in Hull, most of her life and was retired from Hull - Daisetta I.S.D. as a cook and bus driver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Paul Edward Arnold. Sisters, Macy Fregia, Erla Marie Budro, and Helen Louise Budro. Brothers, Albert Earl Budro Jr. Troy Eugene Budro and David Clinton Budro.

Survivors are sons, Harvey Curtis Wallace and wife Phimnara Wallace of Thailand, Clinton Ray Arnold of Batson, Ryan Rena Wallace of Hull, and Roger Wayne Arnold of Hull.

Daughter, Kandy Wallace of Hull. Brother Robert Budro of Willis, and sister Barbara Budro of Beaumont.

Grandchildren are Brenda Brown, Elizabeth Treadway, Troy Arnold, Becky Thibadaux, DeAnna Arnold, Colton Wallace, Scotty Gilmore, Matthew Wallace, Jordan Wallace, Chloe Wallace, Keith Gilmore, Ryan Wallace, Melissa Arnold, Punch Wallace, Susie Arnold, and Jennifer Arnold. Great grandchildren 13.

Serving as pallbearers are Scotty Gilmore, Keith Gilmore, Colton Wallace, Matthew Wallace, Jordan Wallace and Troy Arnold.

Berryhill

Jeanne Thibodeaux Berryhill of Daisetta died on Friday December 4, 2015 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was 73.

A service of remembrance will be held on Monday December 7, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. with Reverend James Carouthers officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale cemetery in Daisetta.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday December 6, 2015 from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

She was born in Liberty, on September 2, 1942 to Willis Thibodeaux Sr. and Overna Blanchard. She had lived in Daisetta most of her life and had worked as a sales clerk.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Paul T. Berryhill. Brothers, Phillip Thibodeaux, Willis Thibodeaux, Leo Thibodeaux, Joseph Thibodeaux, and Noah Thibodeaux.

Survivors are son, Kevin Paul Berryhill and wife Dedra of Hull; brother Phill Thibodeaux of Sour Lake. Sisters, Juanita Moore of Liberty, Lillie Collins of Liberty, Anna Fregia of Hull, and Caroline Martin of Horatio Arkansas.

Grandchildren are Justin Paul Berryhill and wife Preslei of Tarkington Prairie, and Chandler Marie Berryhill also of Tarkington Prairie and great grandchildren are Hayden and Brylei Berryhill.

Serving as pallbearers are Phillip Thibodeaux Jr, Jeff Thibodeaux, Tim Berryhill, Cameron Marsh, Beth Johnson, Jack Thibodeaux. Honorary pallbearer is Jason Thibodeaux.

Berry

John Calvin Berry age 68 died Thursday December 3, 2015 in Houston at Hermann Memorial.

John was born in Vinita, Oklahoma September 3, 1947 the son of the late Archie Cloe Berry and Bessie Mami Baker Berry. John worked for twenty-six years at Kirby Marine as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and wood working.

John was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Elmer Berry and his sisters Margie Humphrey, Mary Beaushaw, and Martha Moore.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of thirty-five years Pamela Berry, sons; John Michael Berry, Archie C. Berry, and Micheal Berry and wife Stephanie, brothers; Larry Berry and wife Gayla, Jim Barry and wife Jeanette, Ronald Berry and wife Evelyn, and a sister Shirley Wilder. In addition he leaves his nine grandchildren; John Michael Berry Jr., James Calvin Berry, Rebecca Berry, Jessica Berry, Anna Berry, Lleyton Micheal Berry, Tristann Maelynn Berry, Pierce Edward Berry, and Jade Madison Berry as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held 10AM Monday at Cornerstone Church, 1693 Hwy 146 Liberty, Texas. Burial to take place at a later date in Frank cemetery in Holly Grove, Ark.

Williams

Ezekiel Williams, 103, a resident of Devers, died peacefully, on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at his residence.

Wake Service: Friday, December 4, 2015, 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Wells Funeral Services in the Althea P. Gibson Chapel, 300 Alabama St, Liberty, Texas.

Funeral Services: Saturday, December 5, 2015, 11:00am, in the Althea P. Gibson Chapel, with the Rev. Greg Durst officiating.

Interment: Douglas cemetery, Devers, Texas.

Wells Funeral Services at 300 Alabama Street, Liberty, Texas has been entrusted with final arrangements.

Moore

William Trevor “Bill” Moore, age 32 of Liberty, died November 29, 2015 in Liberty.

Bill was born May 22, 1983 in Humble, TX, son of William “Butch” Moore and Debra Vaughn Moore. Bill graduated from Liberty High School then went to Austin Community College and Lee College. He worked as a drilling fluid engineer. Bill had a passion for cars and enjoyed “flipping” cars when possible. He also loved to fish and was a talented musician and played the trumpet. Bill was always helping people when he could. He was a loving son, brother and cousin.

Bill was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Bobby Ray Vaughn, and paternal grandparents; Charles Bill Moore and Ethelyne Moore. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, sister; Stephanie Neuman and husband Eric of Liberty, brother; Richard Adam Moore of The Woodlands, maternal grandmother; Eloise Vaughn of Liberty, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services for William Trevor “Bill” Moore will be Monday, December 7, 2015 at 2pm at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX with burial to follow at Fairlawn Memorial cemetery in Liberty. Visitation will be Sunday, December 6, 2015 in the chapel at Allison’s from 5pm to 8pm.

Majors

Katherine Irene Majors age 70 died December 3, 2015 in Baytown, Texas.

Katherine was born October 17, 1945 in Williamson, West Virginia the daughter of the late Lynton Sparkman Cooper and Thelma Katherine Blair Cooper. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always was dressed to the nine’s and loved to go out dancing with her beloved husband. She was an avid antique collector and never met a stranger. She also enjoyed cooking for her family; of course there was always more than enough to feed everyone. She also had a passion for bingo and her scratch-off tickets. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband of more than forty years Johnny Mack Majors Sr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; daughter Samantha A. Arabie and husband Keith of Baytown, son Johnny Mack Majors Jr. and wife Trina of Hull, brothers Tom Cooper and wife Irene of Mansfield, OH, Walter Winton Cooper and wife Elizabeth of San Antonio, Joe Cooper of Branson, Missouri, Linton Sparkman Cooper Jr. of Liberty, and Kevin Cooper of Liberty. In addition she also leaves her sister Evelyn Dean and her husband Steve of Conway, Ark., sister-in-law Carol Wilson Cooper of Rogersfield, Missouri, her six grandchildren James Charles Pennington, Amy Nichol Pennington, Hannah Paige Arabie, Emily Grace Arabie, Johnny Mack Majors III, and Brandi LeAnne Majors. She also leaves great-granddaughter Reese Ryan Stout and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

Visitation for Katherine will be held 6-9 P.M. Monday December 7, 2015 at Allison Funeral Service 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. Funeral services to be held 10AM Tuesday December 8, 2015 at the funeral home with burial to take place in Palms Memorial Park.

Hicks

Billy David Hicks, 73, of Cleveland, died Monday, November 30, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Klein Memorial Park in Tomball. Visitation will be held from 5p.m to 8 p.m., rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Billy was born May 7, 1942, in Carlisle, Arkansas, to parents; Marshall Hilliard Hicks and Anna Virginia Wells Hicks, a former resident of Spring, and has resided in Cleveland for the past 16 years. He attended Forrest City High School in Arkansas, owner and co-founder Hicks & Hicks, superintendent of Cameron Iron Works, owner of HICO, and machinist/designer of Cypress Wellhead Oilfield services. He also enjoyed golf, dancing, collecting sports/antique cars, volleyball, horse balls, fishing, carpentry, and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Eugene Hicks, Doyle C. Hicks, W.P. “Red” Hicks, sister: Betty Sue Bailey, and wife of 31 years and mother of his children: Mary Lee Hicks. He is survived by his wife of 18 years: Diane Rega Clevenger Hicks of Cleveland, brother: Douglas Hicks and wife Toni of Livingston, sons: Joseph H. Hicks of Fort Worth, Michael D. Hicks and wife Cheryl of Seguin, and daughters: Sharon K. “Shorty” Hicks of San Antonio, Tracy D. Arnold of Magnolia, Paige Tatum of Branson, Mississippi, and 11 grandchildren, Matthew Hicks, Samantha Hicks, Ryan Hicks, Chelsea Enloe, Tonnie Arnold, Kevin McCown, Jr., Trey Forman, Bailey Jo McCown, Hollis McCown, Whitney Forman, Macy Tatum and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and best friend, Peggy Ragle.

For those who desire, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society at PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123, in Billy’s name.

Goudeau

June C. Goudeau was born June 3, 1934 to James and Evon Bell Goudeau in Port Arthur, TX.

She was baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Arthur, TX. As a small child the family moved to Ames, TX,
where June spent the remainder of her life. She was the middle child of seven children. June made her first communion and confirmation at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Ames, TX.

June graduated from Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School in Ames and Liberty Training High School in Liberty, TX. She also received a certificate from a business college in Port Arthur, TX.

June worked as a secretary for a while, and then she began her career in retail. She worked for Key’s Dress Shop, The Grand Leader and Saffel’s Department Store in Liberty, TX, Shoe Warehouse in Humble and Beaumont, TX. She retired from Palais Royal in Liberty, TX.

June was an active member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Ames, TX., she was a choir member, an Easter Rodeo Worker and a fall festival helper.

Her favorite pastime was watching movies and eating popcorn. She also loved to travel to different states for the Grand Family Reunions. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino.

June never married or had children of her own, but she was a second mother to all her nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her parents: James and Evon Goudeau, her sister Catherine Goudeau Trahan, her brothers, James “Bubba” Goudeau and Joseph “Joe Pat” Goudeau.

She is survived by her sister: Yvonne Goudeau Culton (Billy) of Ames, TX., two brothers: Peter C. Goudeau (Margaret) of Crosby, TX, John A. Goudeau of Altadena, CA; God daughters: Wanda Trahan Leslie, Clarice Trahan Randolph, Tara Culton, Danielle Randolph Turner, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

June will be truly missed by all who loved her.

Memorial Services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3730 FM 160 North, Raywood, Texas 77582, Tuesday, December 8, 2015, 11:00 AM. Father Ayo Efodigbue, M.S.P., officiating.

Wells Funeral Services at 300 Alabama Street, Liberty, Texas has been entrusted with final arrangements.

Reid

Steven Alex Reid of Moss Hill, died on Sunday November 29, 2015 at his residence. He was 38.

The family will be having a memorial service on Saturday December 5, 2015 at 2:00P.M at The Word Fellowship Church located at CR 834 E. Hull, Texas 77564.

Steven was preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Daisy Cooper and Nellie Powell and two grandfathers, Noel Chamberlain and "PA" Reggie Powell.

Survivors are mother, Louise Scott of Houston, and step father, Troy Chamberlain of Nacogdoches. Nieces, are Brookelyn Chamberlain of Baytown, Presley Chamberlain of Baytown and Ryan Wright of Hardin.

Brothers are Clinton Chamberlain of Baytown and Jimmy Chamberlain of Nacogdoches, sister, Patience Jenkins of Hardin. Sister in law, Courtney Chamberlain and numerous aunts, uncles and host of friends.

Cremation service handled under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. 40847 Hwy 105 E. Batson Texas. 77519.
