Creel

Jane Jordan Creel, 91, died August 4, 2015.

She was born on July 21, 1924 in Kountze, Texas, the daughter of Thomas Morda Jordan and Mattie Lee Chance Jordan. She graduated from Kountze High School and attended Lamar University where she met the love of her life, Audie Creel. She was the owner and operator, with her husband, of Liberty Jewelers for over 40 years. She wed in Beaumont, Texas in 1944 to her beloved husband of 64 years, James Aubrey Creel of Liberty.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister and daughter, Sharron Ann Singleton.

She leaves behind her daughter, Donna Creel of Atlanta, Georgia, granddaughter Danielle Ezer and great-granddaughter Jordan Aubrey Cheek of Needville, Texas, and son-in-law, J. Wesley Singleton of Pensacola, Florida.

A graveside memorial service will be held at the Catholic cemetery in Liberty, Texas on a date to be announced. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Liberty. Allison Funeral Service 1101 N. Travis has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Chambers

Peggy Chambers died at her home on August 3, 2015.

Peggy was born in Liberty, Texas on October 27, 1949, the daughter of the late Allan Chambers and Billie Blanche Mullins Chambers. Peggy had an unmatched sense of humor and was known to light up every room she entered. She had a magnetic charm, never met a stranger and enjoyed countless lifelong friendships. A graduate of Liberty High School, she went on to receive her degree in English from Sam Houston State University and later completed an advanced Dyslexia Training program from the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. She was a lifelong educator and passionate about making a difference in the lives of her students.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Reed Spiers and sister Ann Beavers.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Paige Gorman husband Scott, sisters Betsy Koen and Nancy Chambers husband Larry Buchholz, bother Tommy Chambers wife Lee, and two grandchildren Elle and Brynne Gorman. In addition, she leaves a host of extended family members and close friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Peggy will be held Sunday August 9, 2015 from 5-8Pm at Allison Funeral Service 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas with a rosary service to be celebrated at 7 P.M.. Funeral mass to be held 10Am Monday August 10, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church Liberty, Texas with burial to follow in Liberty Catholic cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Peggy’s memory can be sent to Immaculate Conception Church Bereavement Fund 411 Milam Liberty, Texas 77575.

Whitley

Larry Jean “Boss” Whitley, 83, of Baytown, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in Baytown Texas.

He was born October 29, 1931 in Ferris, Texas to his late parents Record Robert Whitley and Orpha Whitley. Mr. Whitley was raised in Texas City. He married the love of his life Wanda, known to all as "Ma". He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. In the late l 960's he and his wife and his children moved to Baytown, Texas where he resided until his death. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.

Larry graduated from Texas City high school and the University of Houston. He received his Masters from Prairie View A&M. He retired as a vocational counselor from Goose Creek Consolidated School District.

He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 62 years, Wanda Whitley; father and mother, Robert Record Whitley and Orpha Whitley; brother, Bucky Whitley and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernie Willhoite and Era Lee Willhoite.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth Whitley and his wife Lisa; daughter Susan Griffin and her husband Scott; brothers, Foy Whitley and his wife Maxine and Ben Whitley; grandchildren, Kesa Ennen and her husband Matt, Kory Whitley and his wife Rachel, Kyle Griffin and his wife Elissa, Kade Griffin and his wife Stephanie and Kody Griffin and his wife Tierany; great grandchildren, Ryker Ennen, Cole Ennen, Mackenzie Ennen and Avery Griffin; brothers-in-law, Dean Willhoite and his wife Janice and Larry Willhoite and his wife Narda and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends from .5:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the funeral home with Foy Whitley and Tommie Harring officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Kory Whitley, Kyle Griffin, Kade Griffin, Kody Griffin, Matt Ennen and Collin Warren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital. They would also like to thank the staff of Swan Manor for their loving care.

Savage

Michael Savage Jr., 39 of Liberty, Texas, died July 31, 2015 in Houston, Texas.

He was born November 16, 1975 in Baytown, Texas to parents, Michael Gary Savage, Sr., and Mitzi Marie Malone Savage. He graduated from Woodville High School in 1994 and attended Angelina College. Michael had lived in Liberty for the past 9 years after moving from South Carolina. He worked as corporate trainer for Unify Energy Solutions. Michael loved being a dad. He was very involved in youth ministries, Harbor Sports Ministry and a ministry walk from Houston to Austin where they walked 20 miles per day.

Michael was dearly loved by his wife of 17 years, Heather Savage, and their four children Austin, Addie, Brianna, and Justin. He will also be missed by his father and stepmother, Michael G. Sr. and Vicki Savage, mother, Mitzi Savage; grandparents, RB (Myrtle) and Francis Savage; several cousins of which include Cindy, DJ, and Chad; also numerous family, church family, friends, and our loving community. He was also loved by many youth, two of which were special to Mike and Heather, Karina and Lucy.

Visitation is scheduled at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Baytown, Texas at Living Hope Church of God. A meal will follow the services where family and friends can speak a few loving words and share memories.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the service for Mike’s heartfelt ministry, Harbor Sports Alliance, 1818 Kipling, Liberty, Texas 77575

Webb

James Henry Webb, 65, of Hull, TX passed away on August 2, 2015 in Houston, TX.

James was born on October 21, 1949 in Liberty, TX, son of the late Henry Webb and Annie Tennison-Webb. James spent 30+ years in Refractory work and was most recently employed by Hi-Tech Refractory. He loved to fish and tinker around in his shop, but mostly he loved his family and grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Cynthia Pitts-Webb, daughters: Kimberly Webb of Moss Hill, TX; and Jamie Sue Webb-Burch, and husband Shelton of Liberty, TX; brother: Ronnie Eugene Webb and wife Susan of Boerne, TX; sisters: Connie Jo Johnson and husband Clint of Baytown, TX; and Janet Marie Fletcher and husband Kenny of Baytown, TX; grandchildren: Henry Dalton Edmondson, Stacey Lee Anna Edmondson, Miranda Nicole Burch, Shelton Jasper Burch, and Bridget Leigh Burch; and great-grandchild Khloie Leeann Pilgreen.

Services for James Henry Webb will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main, Dayton, TX, with burial to follow at Linney cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 5:00 P.M., and concluding at 8:00 PM.

Osborn

Anna Bear Osborn, age 68 of Cleveland, Texas, died Friday, July 31, 2015.

She was born August 6, 1946 in Cleveland, Texas to parents Olen L. Lamb and Nancy Aurelia Hodge. She is preceded in death by her father, O.L. “Poppa” Lamb.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Osborn; son, Christopher Ross Bear; mother, Nancy Lamb; sister, Caroline Franklin and friend Ron; nephew, Sam Dever and fiancé Kelly Williams; great nieces, Kailey Delk and Ali McClendon; best friend, Judy Rice, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ALS Foundation.

Carriere

Jewel Mae “Judy” Conner Carriere of Fannett, Texas, died peacefully at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.

Judy was born on January 6, 1922, in Huffman, Texas, and graduated from Dayton High School in 1939. On February 22, 1940, she married the love her life, Crawford Carriere, and they lived in Dayton for most of their lives. In Dayton, she was an active member of the First Baptist Church where she served in many capacities. She was also a member of Lakata Club, Priscilla Club, and Stitch and Chatter in Dayton. She held numerous offices in all three of these clubs, and through them, she made lifelong friends. After she moved to Fannett in 1983, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fannett, where she was currently the oldest living member of her church.

Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Crawford” Carriere, Sr.; her son, Joseph Crawford “Joe” Carriere, Jr.; her parents, W.A. “Bill” and Edna (Goodrum) Conner; her sister, Floy Conner Long Humphries; her brother, William “Curtis” Conner; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Offord and Martha Carriere.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Donna Carriere White and her husband, Tommy; her daughter-in-law, Linda Quick Carriere; her granddaughter, Ginger White Roy and her husband, Sanjit; her granddaughter, Danielle Carriere Johnson and her husband, Daniel; her grandson, Joseph Crawford “Josh” Carriere, III, and his wife, Shanna; her granddaughter, Julie White Aasmyr and her husband, Harry. She is also survived by grandchildren Maecy Williams, Gia Williams, Geory Williams, Claire Johnson, Emery Johnson, Brandon Carriere, Kaylin Carriere, Benjamin Aasmyr, Timothy Aasmyr, and Lily Aasmyr, She is also survived by her brother, Leard Conner and his wife, Ellen; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by long-time faithful friend and caretaker, Maria Grifaldo.

Her funeral will be held at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home at 1304 N. Cleveland (Highway 321) in Dayton, Texas. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015, from 4:00 to 6:30 pm, followed by a worship and memorial service at 7:00 pm. There will be a private burial where her remains will be laid to rest beside her dear husband at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton, Texas.

Pallbearers will be O.A. “Tony” Carriere, Jr.; David Glass; Paul Glass; Darin Long; Ray Matthews; Roy A. Seaberg, Jr.; J.W. Tinkle; and Morgan Tippit.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David “Tim” Carriere; Alan Dee Conner; Jonathan “Andy” Conner; William “Bill Curtis” Conner, Jr; Leo Glass; H. Clifford Long, III; Raul Olivas; Dr. Achyutananda Roy; Bruce Sieffert; and Pat White.

She wanted to relieve of pallbearer duties but send special thanks and appreciation to her son-in-law, grandsons, and great-grandsons who carried her (sometimes literally) through the last years of her life: Tommy White; Harry Aasmry; Joseph Crawford “Josh” Carriere, III; Daniel Johnson; Sanjit Roy; Benjamin Aasmyr; Timothy Aasmyr; Brandon Carriere; and Geory Williams.

Robinson

Jamie Lynn Robinson 36, of Daisetta, TX, died on Saturday July 26, 2015 in Fargo, North Dakota.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday, July 31 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services. A service of remembrance will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 1, 2015 also at Faith & Family with Reverend Robert "Bubba" Fregia and Reverend Woody Sonnier officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. Ener cemetery in Hemphill, Texas.

Jamie was born October 31, 1978 in Galveston, Texas to Bobby Howard Robinson and Annie Viola Ener. He lived in Daisetta most of his life and worked as a Environmental Cleaning Specialist for Clean Harbors in Fargo, North Dakota.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Ener; great grandfather, Hudie Ener; great grandmother, Jessie Ener and great grandmother, Annie Davis.

He is survived by his parents Bobby and Annie Robinson of Daisetta; wife, Heather Robinson of Watford City, North Dakota; sons, Michael Kaine Robinson of Daisetta and Kaleb Kolton Robinson of Daisetta; daughter, Skyla L. Robinson of Manville, TX; brothers, Steven Wayne Robinson of Daisetta, Jeffery Allen Robinson of Tarkington, William Earl Robinson of Redfield South Dakota and Andrew Patrick Robinson of Tarkington; grandparents, Tommy Robinson of Kilgore, Rose Ener of Daisetta and Mollie Harner of Arkansas; Numerous nieces, nephews and host of friends. Serving as pallbearers are Steven Robinson, Jeffery Robinson, Kaleb Robinson, Michael Robinson, William Robinson and Andrew Robinson. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Fregia, Todd T.J." Fregia, Zane Robinson and Xavier Robinson.

Pinckard

Carolyne Eloyse Byrd Pinckard, 72, of Liberty, died Friday, July 24, 2015, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015, at the North Main Baptist Church with services concluding thereafter. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Carolyne was born March 20, 1943 in Tacoma, Washington, to parents; Jack J. and Selma Halquist Byrd, a former resident of San Antonio, and has resided in Liberty for the past 24 years. She was a homemaker and member of North Main Baptist Church. She also enjoyed watching TV and reading.

Mrs. Pinckard was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 44 years: Ernest Lee Pinckard, brother: Donald Byrd, and brother-in-law: Gerald Parrow. She is survived by her sons: Kenneth T. Pinckard of Liberty and Steven L. Pinckard and wife Melissa of Liberty, sisters: Lynn Parrow and Charlotte Morris, brothers: Lewis Byrd, Jack Byrd, Jr., and Gordon Byrd, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Victorian

Kisha Chantell Victorian 34, of Houston died July 22, 2015.

Services will be held Friday, July 31, 2015 at Berean Tabernacle Baptist Church, 405 Hwy 146 Bypass Liberty, TX 77575. Visitation will begin at 9AM until funeral at 11AM. Interment will be in Wells cemetery, Liberty, TX.

Cherishing her memories are parents: Kate and Trent Smith, Biological father: Jimmy Victorian, children Torris Lee II, TeAndre Lee, Maylie Riley, Kendia Victorian, Arianna Victorian, Ethan Victorian. Sisters: Krystal Smith, Ashley Smith and Sidnee Victorian and a host of Aunts Uncles Cousin and Friends.

Ms. Victorian’s services have been entrusted to Proctor's Mortuary (Location in Anahuac, Beaumont and Silsbee, TX.)

Dean

James “Delmar” Dean, 68, of Dayton, died Saturday, July 25, 2015, at the Houston Hospice in Houston after a long battle with illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel., with burial at the IOOF cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Delmar was born August 26, 1946 in Purcell, Oklahoma, to parents; Robert Dean and Deola Naill. A former resident of Norman, Oklahoma, he has been a Texas resident for the past 35 years. He was a graduate of the Norman High School Class of 1964. Drafted by the New York Yankees soon after high school, but suffered a shoulder injury that ended his pursuit of a professional baseball career. Delmar was also a Veteran of the US Army, a retired Account Manager for GCR Tires - Bridgestone/Firestone, and member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, baseball, and was an avid Oklahoma Sooners football fan.

Mr. Dean was preceded in death by his parents and wife: Vicki Jackson. He is survived by his sons: Larry Dean and wife Shana of Kingwood, Michael Dean of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Bryan Dean of Florida. Grandsons: Eric Spain and fiancée Meg Goss, Ryan Dean, and numerous other relatives, and friends. Loved by all that had an opportunity to know him, He will be missed deeply but never forgotten.
